Home Instead stood out amongst the many agencies I initially contacted on behalf of my mother. They were kind, professional and quick to understand my mother’s requirements as a result of her Parkinson’s disease.

The 2 caregivers they specifically selected for my mother were (and continue to be) really outstanding. Despite now having to make some changes to my mother’s care package, we didn’t want to lose one of the original Home Instead caregivers and so have fitted the new care-plan around her availability.

Home Instead are a seriously professional care provider and the team go out of their way to create the best package for the service user. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

My Mum, who had to be talked into receiving care, is a convert. She now looks forward to her visits from her Caregiver, when she can have a chat and listen to cheery stories while the house is kept clean and tidy. My Mum still has her independence and the family have peace of mind.

Home Instead have been brilliant. From the moment I contacted them seeking care for my father, they took the matter in hand and have filled me with confidence ever since. I live overseas, so this somewhat complicates matters for me in trying to navigate parental care from a distance, however, I receive excellent communication from the team. They have been so helpful with suggestions to improve Dad's day-to-day living, and Dad very much enjoys his visits from his carer and their trips out. We have been so lucky with our choice of Home Instead, and I can't recommend them more highly.

Home Instead Senior Care (Glasgow South) responded to our requirement at very short notice. This was due to the hospital discharging me without any prior warning and council services not able to accommodate.

My mum has been having a carer for the past month. She normally struggles going out herself but this has given her new interests and she looks forward to the visits.
