I wanted to pass on my sincere thanks to the Mayfair Care team who have been supporting my mum for the whole of 2025. My mum is 94.5 years old and she has had a difficult time over the whole of this year. As her health has declined she has increasingly relied upon the care team to support her continued living at home. The support has been nothing short of fantastic and it has made a tremendous difference to both mum herself and to her family. The care team are very attentive, caring and very hard working and that effort has made a huge difference. Mum really appreciates all the help she has received. As we approach Xmas day it marks nearly a full 12 months of reliance upon everyone and it is no small coincidence that she has seen an uptick in her health over the last few months. Mayfair's care was exceptional. My mother-in-law has fast-progressing dementia, and after struggling with another company, the Portsmouth City Council connected us with Mayfair. The difference was night and day-she was treated with dignity, respect, and genuine kindness. She even looked forward to their visits. One staff member in particular was incredible, guiding us through every step as her condition rapidly changed. We are deeply grateful for their compassion and professionalism.

I have been a service user with Mayfair now since January 2024. Ever since then, I have felt my confidence grow and also become a better version of myself. The carers are always polite, helpful and friendly, completing all the tasks I need with high competence, and have absolutely changed my life for the better. Being a part of Mayfair has allowed me to feel cared for and supported, but also allowed me to gain some independence for myself, and for that I am completely grateful. Office Staff are brilliant and thoughtful, always positive over the phone and lovely to speak to.

Has greatly improved since two carers have been on the team, feel like I'm listened to. It's very important for me that my mum is in great hands as I'm not in the best of health and cannot be available 24/7.

Mayfair Care are the best, they are always on time always wear their uniforms, interface themselves and do the jobs they are meant to do and if we have any trouble the office staff do their best to sort it out so Mayfair care is brilliant.

Management is extremely poor. Carers seem under extreme time constraints so fail to complete tasks, rarely turn up on time (if at all) and neglect vital care issues. Managers promise to address problems but don't, they pay lip service only, promising to rectify problems but failing to. We used Mayfair for many years fearing that there were worse care providers out there however eventually the service was so poor and managers were simply telling lies when replying to complaints, therefore, we ended the arrangement for them to provide care to our family. This was the best thing we ever did as the care we received from Mayfair versus the care we now receive from the company we swapped to is incomparable. We now realise just how poor Mayfair are as a care provider. We'd suggest anyone considering Mayfair to look elsewhere, they are an extremely poorly run company.
