Having suffered a fall shattering my left femur and breaking my clavicle on my discharge from hospital I have been looked after by the lovely carers from Aroma Care. I found them all to be extremely gentle, caring, friendly, respectful and professional in all aspects of their nursing care. During my first week I was unable to wash myself properly, my walking was poor and I was very slow in my movement. Their kind encouragement and patience with me knew no bounds. Nothing was too much trouble. On getting dressed I was handled gently, always asked what I would like to wear and they took care that at no time did I feel cold or was left sat uncomfortably. Instead of feeling helpless I felt respected at all times and I felt that they took great compassion in their vocational skills. It feels now like I have made new good and loyal friendships, such pleasant ladies. Joy was my main carer but my gratitude extends also to Beatrice, Mary and Judith all of whom are a credit to your company.

Overall Experience

My carers are friendly and reliable. I can depend on them to arrive at more or less the same time every day. They wash and dress me efficiently in the morning, make the bed and get breakfast. At lunch and tea time they provide meals to my specification and carry out any other tasks that need to be done. Generally the work is shared between the same two people which ensures a routine is maintained, though I appreciate that new faces are inevitable from time to time.

Overall Experience
I've been with Aroma Care for three months now. My needs are not great but it is good to have people looking in and ensuring all is well. The service has proved reliable and the carers are all polite and friendly. Generally one carer remains as the regular visitor, except for days off, of course, for a number of weeks and then there is often a change. My present main carer, Spiwe, is great fun as well as truly caring and we get on well. She comes in mornings, is there if I need her when I shower, helps me dress and gets my breakfast. In the evening she helps me get into pyjamas and usually puts my meal in the microwave or makes a sandwich, whichever I wish. She can do other tasks such as changing the bed, which otherwise wears me out.

My only niggle is with timing. I understand that precision is impossible with all the variables, but I find that the evening timing is too early; it's not ideal to be in my pyjamas by 5.30 when I don't go to bed before 9.30 and, sometimes, am out for tea

Overall Experience

Well was having four visits a day from the care team starting at six in the morning, so pleased when able to cancel some of them. Must say thanks to the team of carers for what they did for me. Washing my back and legs, getting me dressed ready for the day ahead, as unable to bend down, some washing up and hoovering downstairs rooms when they needed doing was also on the list they did. Think they the care team have been very well trained and can't thank them enough, so big thanks from me. (You are very welcome) was their reply when I thanked them!

We can't praise William enough, he cares for mt auntie Margaret with care and attention (and good humour). He knows her well, and we are very grateful for this. Although the days when William is not attending the other carers are not as helpful and often don't stay for the allotted time, this often can distress Margaret, and on occasion they have come to put her to bed at 6:30 PM, which is too early! (Again, it's when not William).

Overall Experience
Only had aroma care in now for 3 days and they are very professional and very friendly which as put my mum at ease as she can be very nervous with new faces ,they understand my mums needs and listen to wot ever we tell them as my mum can be very complex .my mum is hoping to have the same regular carer's as she can be very nervous around strangers. Overall we are very satisfied.

P.s if the lunch time call could be be around 12.30ish that would be better for me mum as the 7 hr gap is a bit big.

Overall Experience

My mother had a bad fall and was in hospital for approx 5 weeks. When she came out, being her son, I helped when I could, but your company carried out additional care to a high standard. I could not fault the service we received. Thank you.

Overall Experience
Our carer this morning is an Aisian guy on this his first visit to us.
He introduced himself and asked what assistance was required. He to ok great care helping wash and dress her.

We felt very comfortable and pleased with his help this morning.

I have been under the care of Aroma Care for eight months now I frequently say to the Carer who comes " I don't know how I managed without you" Every Carer who comes daily treats me with great care, is friendly and always show's a genuine concern for my wellbeing. They all have a wonderful sense of humour and we have a laugh. From the first day I started with them, " I felt I have a little friends in my corner" and I still feel that. Not only the physical help they give me but my life with them coming daily has definitely cheered me up. Such lovely Carers, you have a wonderful team that visit daily.

Our overall experience with the 4 carers looking after my Mother is very comforting knowing she is being very well cared for especially being kept personally clean, the 4 regular carers are Kennedy ,Rosemary, Frederick and Miriam.

The care for mum is commanding patience & understanding with Dementia being involved.

The carers are very nice and I have made friends with lots them.my favorite among them is Kennedy and Rosemary,their genuine kindness and highly in skills in managing my daily needs.they always take a time to share laughter and make each day brighter.I totally trust them!

I am well looked after and my times they come are suitable. So no problems are raised. I find what they do is excellent. My meals are done on time. My main carer is very thorough and always smiles. We chat freely all the time, and she sorts out any problems should they come up.

The carers who attended recently to my mum have both been absolutely amazing.
They are very caring, empathetic and understanding.
Nothing is ever too much for them and they undertake job with great care and passion.
It helps massively as one Carer speaks Urdu & Hindi, due to mums limited English speaking she can communicate with him in these languages which is a big help to her.
Thank you once again for your ongoing support and both carers deserve great credit for the work they carry out.

They both need to be praised!

I have never had to have care before at home and didn't know what to expect, the team were at home ready to welcome me back and settle me back home, I have nothing but praise for the care I have received, they are caring thoughtful and happy to help with anything I need ,my father passed away recently and I was treated with care and compassion

I've been using Aroma Care for some time now, and I honestly couldn't be happier with the care and support I receive. My regular carers are absolutely wonderful - they're reliable, kind, and always go the extra mile to make sure I'm comfortable and well looked after.
It makes such a difference to have carers who not only do their job so well but who genuinely care. They're respectful, friendly, and bring a lovely sense of calm and positivity into my home.

It has been really hard to hand over care.
But really it has been smoother than I thought it would be. Mum has total confidence and has relaxed now in the knowledge that anything will be dealt with with confidence and keeping her dignity as much as possible.
Her main carer handles any problem with confidence and kindness.
