A lady in the office is great at communicating with me any changes or concerns the carers have had with Mum.

I cannot say enough good things about the wonderful care my mum is receiving. She loves her carer's visits after initially being nervous. We have found that nothing is too much trouble and in my view, the company always goes above and beyond.

Right at Home supported my frail mother, who still lived at home, for a year until her recent demise. From the start, the engagement was positive with friendly and committed people and a solid assessment process. Although several carers attended my mother the number of people was kept to a minimum due to her Alzheimer’s and all were punctual, engaging, friendly and efficient. They helped make my mother’s last year comfortable.

The Right at Home team came to our rescue when dads ability to cope independently at home surfaced. The team stepped in immediately with assessment advice, involving dad and the family.
Right at Home was extremely flexible to support dads needs and rapidly introduced him to his new team of carers.
The team were professional throughout the time dad remained at home and flagged up changes and worries as they cropped up. We valued being able to look up the daily reports on our dedicated web page.

Another big thank you to the team of Right at Home.

I have advanced MS with the use of my left thumb and index finger. I can operate my electric wheelchair, however, I need full assistance for all tasks including being hoisted between the wheelchair, recliner, and bed. My wife went away for some respite with her siblings. I needed a care company that could come in for 3 hours in the morning to get me out of bed, into the bathroom for personal care, back to bed for dressing, and put back into my wheelchair. I had a close friend staying with me 24/7 to help outside of these times. We chose Right at Home after initial inquiries, conversations, and meeting with carers before the time. There was good rapport and we were confident my personal care needs would be met. The carers were very kind and professional. They made the experience acceptable and done with dignity. They were on time, friendly, courteous and caring. Understandably there were a few hiccups along the way, however, both the carers and the office team were very quick to respond.

My father-in-law received excellent care in his own home. The initial assessment was very detailed and subsequently the carers had a good understanding of his needs. The carers contacted me with queries and concerns as they occurred, which was good for clear communication. My father-in-law always remarked on how friendly each carer was after their visits. A really good system from Right at Home is that any new carers are introduced to the client by familiar carers, this is so beneficial to a person with dementia. A big thank you to all the carers and office personnel at Right at Home.

We contacted Right at Home (Worthing and Shoreham), at very short notice for them, after our mum had an emergency admission to hospital in late April. Their response was both professional and reassuring, especially as our mum has always been fiercely independent and we were not sure how she would react to having a carer coming every day. We needn't have worried. All of the carers, some of whom we have met in person, are lovely, very caring and very professional. They really focus on what my mum needs personally. We have also had a couple of emergencies where the response has been amazing, both from the team in the office and the individual carers. As we both (my sister and myself) live a long way away from Mum, the app they use is fantastic in reassuring us every day of the care she is receiving. Thank you Right at Home.

From the first phone call we made to ask for help with our father’s care, Right at Home (Worthing & Shoreham) couldn’t have been more kind, friendly, reassuring and professional.
The manager came to see my parents, sister and I at the family home to discuss his care needs and he was so warm and practical. My father’s care was tailored to his care needs perfectly and the carers who came each day and night were exemplary, every one.
They took time to ensure our father was comfortable and even found time to sit and have a cup of tea with our mother, which was of huge comfort to my sister and I.
Our father needed someone to sit through the night with him in his latter days and the carers from Right at Home were wonderful, especially one carer who was with our dad as he slipped away in his sleep and gently woke us so we could be with him while she made us tea.

The team will never know what a huge difference they made to us in our father’s last few weeks. We felt like a team.

Right at Home has done a great deal to understand what my son needs from his carers and make sure they tailor his care so that all his needs are met. He struggled to interact with the carers initially so Right at Home employed a carer of a similar age and who has similar interests. He is now my son's favourite carer and he looks forward to seeing him as they often go out for something to eat and he has a great time. The whole team are very helpful and approachable which makes communicating with them a very positive experience.

I contacted Right at Home Shoreham with regard to care for my elderly father. Right from the start, they have been really efficient and very professional. They were very quick to set up the care and it has been a huge help to my father as we are not local. All the staff have been very caring and a big help to my father on their daily visits. It has made all the difference in helping him to continue to live independently. The team in the office are very efficient and great at communicating when needed. We find the app very useful and reassuring as well. Thank you

I am very pleased with the support that Right at Home has been providing for my mother this year. The carers all have a warm and friendly approach and have developed good relationships, meaning she happily welcomes them into her home. Carers are careful to follow all procedures as agreed and are adaptable to changes when needed. The admin team are keen to ensure that the care plan closely reflects my mother's needs and this is updated regularly, through face to face meetings. Communication strategies are excellent, I am always kept updated about routine and specific matters. My mother recently had a small hospital procedure and the team at Right at Home were fantastic in following the aftercare treatment steps, even contacting the hospital when there was a concern and taking her for her follow up appointment. The personal touch from Right at Home sets them out from the rest.

My partner and I are so happy with the service and kindness we have received. We know my partner's mum is very difficult to please due to her condition, you never know what mood she will be in, but the carers have done an outstanding job to keep her happy. It was really nice for us to be able to go on a little Wales holiday and not having to worry about my mother-in-law, as we knew she was in good hands and well looked after! We are already planning to create a permanent care plan for her because we were so happy with how it all went. We can only recommend them and are looking forward to implementing the new permanent plan.
