What a relief that you have a wonderful coordinator. I put my worries to her about my mother's happiness, wanting a certain carer to be with Mum at night as she feels secure with her. She has arranged for the carer to do 3 nights per week. I can't tell you how amazing she is to have arranged that for me.
Axela Care has put in place a team of carers who are exceptionally kind and good at their jobs. The family and I cannot thank them all enough for what they are doing.
Very kind and compassionate staff who put us all at ease. Mum was treated with great care and dignity. Having the careers there at night allowed me to get some much needed sleep, knowing that my mum was being well looked after.
Thank you so much for your positive review! We're so glad to hear that you had a great experience with our caregivers. We put a lot of care into providing our customers with the best possible care we can, and it's always rewarding to hear that the work our staff have done has been appreciated.
I would like to thank the care team with my mum's level of care is excellent, get many phone calls about my mum's health and care and updates. Some of the carers go beyond the usual level of care and my mum has made strong bonds and feels safe, so many thanks to all carers for their hard work and dedication, for their hard work for a difficult job.
Thank you very much for taking the time to complete the review.
I am happy that my team is providing Mum with such great care at her home.
Axela Care provide a reliable and supportive service. Carers are helpful and friendly. On the odd occasion when a problem arises, for example, if your carer cannot attend you because of some emergency or sudden illness, Axela Care HQ are very good at arranging another carer to visit and are always available (except perhaps on Sunday).
I shall give you a call to discuss the weekend on-call system that we have in place.
The service my Dad has received has been second to none, his carer is nothing short of amazing so patient with Dad and kind, the care agency also provide any help and support they can. Cannot fault the service and level of care from Axela.
I hope we continue to provide Dad with the best care at home.
The Axela team of carers were magnificent. My father was treated with kindness, sensitivity, care, and good humour, and, (when my mother had identified the best of your team), my mother was supported and helped with similarly practicality and thoughtfulness. We can’t thank you and your exceptional and wonderful team of carers enough. They are all angels.
Wishing you and Mum all the best.
Very helpful coordinator who is always kind and thoughtful. Carers are good too and get into a good routine with my parent to assist her needs. They are always on time and will have a chat too which makes a difference.
Very good care provider! We are all happy with all the hard work the staff provide! Very good communication with the client and also with family members! Always on time! The out-of-hours service also excellent!
Great to hear my team is doing such an amazing job.
Brilliant service from the management team and staff. Punctual, very helpful, and kind. Have been visiting us for the past few months and they are such a great help with my mother-in-law. From having showers, taking her out for a walk, and caring for her.
Very happy with the service received and the kindness of the carers.
I learned of Axela Care Ltd when the Donor of the LPA switched from a Reablement care plan with another related company to a private care plan with Axela Care. The handover was seamless and Axela was able to meet the request of the Donor of the LPA to keep the same carer. The Manager of Axela was very quick and proactive in providing the Care Package Agreement and helpful in agreeing amendments to it. Axela was completely aware of the complicated care needs of the Donor and the carer liaised with the Palliative Care Team, the local District Nurses, and the GP. The carer worked well with the Donor's cleaner and was helpful in collecting prescriptions from the local pharmacy as well as dealing with queries from myself. The private care agreement was only in place for 4 days as the NHS confirmed the donor was eligible for Continuing Health Care; fortunately, Axela Care Ltd is on the list of providers of care for this with the NHS so we have had further continuity of care.
The staff are professional, respectful and kind and I feel confident leaving my relative in their care I would recommend them to anyone who needs this type of service. Letting strangers into her home was a big decision for us but we feel we have made the right choice with Axela Care.
Mum has received care from Axela for nearly two years now. The continued, and now enhanced care package, mum has/is receiving is best described as exceptional. Carers are kind, caring, efficient, reliable and responsible. There is a continuity of regular carers which enables them, and mum, to bond, and the carers truly get to know mum's individualised physical care, social and psychological needs. Mum always reminds us that she has a good quality of life and the carers undoubtedly accommodate this. Equally important is the effective and efficient management of Axela. There appears to be a strong philosophy of safeguarding and staff development as well as ensuring excellent personal, social and psychological care is delivered on the front line. On the very rare occasion problems occur - they are immediately addressed and rectified with systems instigated to help prevent repeats in the future. This instils us with continued confidence and reassurance that mum's care is in good hands.
I have found the experience of dealing with Axela Care really positive, from the first meeting with the care coordinator, who has responded promptly and with clarity to any of my questions and has been extremely helpful in giving advice. The carers have all been kind and thoughtful towards my mother, though some have had more experience with dealing with dementia care, so we have tried to employ these carers more than those with less experience.
Alexa Care went above and beyond to ensure my 94-year-old grandma has been safely cared for, and have kindly adapted to meet her new needs since she had Covid-19. Really lovely, kind carers who my grandma loves and feels comfortable around! The Alexa Care team are always approachable and keep up excellent communication with family. They are fantastic.
Reliable, caring staff. Well trained with high standards of personal protection in place for user and caregivers.
I'll be in touch to chat about any improvements we could make.
This company provide caring and courteous carers. Having experienced 2 or 3 other care companies - Axela is the first one that I have come across that has consistently provided kind, experienced and caring staff. It has been quite a challenge finding someone for my 87-year-old mother who suffers from dementia and can be quite difficult to manage. To know that she is so happy with her carer and that she is well looked after in a professional and empathetic way is a big relief for me. I could not recommend this company more highly.
Fantastic service.
I have been very fortunate with our amazing carer with Axela Care. He is both attentive and caring. We would be lost without him and the other carers. Big thank you to you all!
