Over 30 years working in the care industry, starting in domiciliary care as a care assistant and working up to a Registered Manager. Working across different fields in Elderly care, dementia, Learning Disabilities, Mental Health and Hospital settings.

Working in the care sector as a health care assistant, senior and manager has prepared me to see care from all sides and have a good understanding of how each role works.

I have always enjoyed helping and supporting people who require care, to support them to remain independent and have the help and care that they require as they wish it to be.

Katie began her career in social care at 18 while studying at college. Working as a home carer, she quickly developed a passion for supporting people to live independently at home.

After gaining valuable experience in a nursing home, she returned to domiciliary care and joined Radfield Home Care Bexhill, Hastings & Battle as a Field Care Supervisor.

In her supervisory role, Katie works closely with Care Professionals to ensure visits meet high standards of safety and personal support. Hayleigh transitioned into adult social care after caring full-time for her grandad during his illness, an experience that demonstrated the value of dignified, person-centred support. Following a decade in fast-paced retail and earning her Level 3 Qualification in Health and Social Care, she joined Radfield Home Care in 2024 as a hands-on Care Professional.

Her front-line experience and organisational skills led to her progression to Care Coordinator.
