Each carer has taken the time to get to know my mother and her needs.

My elderly father (client) was resistant to any kind of help in the home, despite it being evident he needed it, with increasing needs. The deputy care manager took it upon herself to visit my father several times, using her experience to introduce my father to the idea of taking on the care he needed and backing up the carers' visits with her visits to chat with my father. She was so patient, taking her time to listen but also being persuasive of what he needed and what she was able to provide to help. The team provided a great service with the website portal providing me with the info of what had been done, along with the schedules of tasks, but were always available to take phone calls personally. A highly professional service which comes highly recommended.

As I am now more or less independent I no longer need her services but would certainly book again if I need it.

Carers from Home Instead (West Exeter & Teignbridge) have been helping my wife for six months. They are always pleasant and kind and as it says on the tin - caring. Most weeks we have the same carers which enables pleasant dialogue and a genuine relationship between us.

My sister and I are delighted with the care our dad receives from the carers. We also met one of the service managers today, which was most helpful to all of us moving forward and keeping all informed.

The care provided to me has been consistently of a good standard. All carers involved are mindful of my needs and provide the care and companionship that I require to a good standard, freeing up time for my wife to have a deserved break to do what she wants knowing I am safe and well looked after

I am hoping to arrange some personal care soon to help me get back to showering etc, following my mobility problems and will be contacting yourselves about this in the next few weeks.

The carers that Home Instead have provided are outstanding and a credit to the firm, both going the extra mile and providing a high standard of care and support. We appreciate their companionship and conversation, as well as the personal care and domestic duties they complete. We look forward to their daily visits.

My mother seems to be doing well under their care. She doesn't show any distress or annoyance at having the carers come to see her so that is a good sign as my mum would be very vocal in her disdain if there were issues.

I am so pleased to have changed to Home Instead as they are so helpful and kind and do their best to give the care my husband needs. The carer who comes takes such good care of my husband and is very helpful to me if I need something doing. He is always on time and comes at the same time each visit.

Home Instead took over the care of my dad in March this year after a few difficult months of trying to cover his needs. My dad has had care needs for several years, covered by a number of companies, all of whom have done a good job looking after him. Sadly, at 96, he passed away recently, but I have to say the care Home Instead provided was exceptional and probably the best he had during his final years - saved the best until last, as they say! Living a distance away, knowing Dad was being well cared for, was of huge importance to me. I cannot fault the caregivers - a bunch of wonderful people - for communication and help with any issue that was dealt with quickly and professionally. I was always kept informed of any problem, and they did their utmost to help in any way. The caregivers responded so well to my dad's needs and personality, even celebrating his 96th Birthday, as I couldn't be there. My thanks to everyone at Home Instead, Dawlish, for looking after my dad so well in his final few months.

An invaluable service enabling my Mum to stay in her home environment for as long as she can.

When I have visited my friend it is always a last-minute decision, as I am usually very busy, and where I can see spare hour I give her a ring and say would you like to have a chat. I am always greeted by the carer. She shows me into the room where my friend is usually resting. The house is always spotless. You feel most welcomed, and nothing is too much trouble. My friend cannot speak too highly of the wonderful care and attention she gets. She often tells me that it would be impossible for her to stay in her home, if it was not for the care she gets from the home provider. The carer will always leave us to have our chat alone, and now and again she will call out cup of tea anyone. It. Is always a home from home service. Well done!
