Delta Care Ltd - Chorley

A huge appreciation for Delta Care, the Carers, also to the team in the office. The daily care at home that they give really helps my uncle and gives the rest of the family peace of mind. I think it also really helps that the Carers engage with my uncle, it really helps to him improve after a stroke. Thank you for all your help! I highly recommend this organisation.

The only criticism I have was in the 12,months we used Deltacare 43 different carers came to our home. Some were good and others were sadly not good at all. Once these poor ones -,were identified we managed to keep the very best coming to give Care to my late wife, who sadly passed away with vascular dementia.

Words cannot express how grateful I am to all the staff at Rivington Park Care Home in Chorley for looking after my nan in the last few weeks of her life. All the staff were so caring, compassionate and very kind to my nan.

First of all the frontline staff, the carers, are largely lovely. They do the best they can in trying circumstances. They have little or no time between calls to take a break. The rotas are poorly put together with calls sometimes miles apart, and crisscrossing different parts of the town in no logical order. On double-up calls, carers will arrive at different times as their rotas are not married together well. Additional calls are often added to packed rotas with management having little or no sympathy for those on the road. The management of the office is poor, and their organisation is about as poor as I could imagine an office being run. There is little or no communication between management and staff, and poor communication with service users. For years the company has been on a decline and I would not recommend Delta Care as a provider for anyone looking for care for a loved one. I would have given a 1 star if it were not for the genuine care of those on the shop floor.

I wish to thank all the carers at Delta Care Chorley for the care and dignity provided for my husband over the past two and a half years. They always came at the time specified and were professional and caring at all times. They were more like friends in the end. In particular, I would like to mention my husband's main two carers but also the rest of the team and the new members who we only knew a short time. I could never have managed without them. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for top-quality care at home. Thank you all. A special thank you to one carer for her excellent on-call care over the past few weeks.

The carers here are very caring and kind. My main carer is excellent and always goes above and beyond to help me. All the carers I have had with Delta Care are brilliant and I don't know where I would be without them.

My own health is none too good either and I feel that they are keeping a weather eye on myself as the permanent carer in addition.

I look forward to seeing their cheery faces each day I must confess!
