When the carers come to see me they do what I ask them to do they are so polite and friendly, we have a good chat and the carers and weekend staff are so good to me and they know what to do.

The care provided for my father over the last twelve months has been excellent. He was treated with kindness, patience and dignity at a time that was very difficult for him. The company provided by his carers also helped him to cope in a difficult period of his life and we are very grateful.

The carers do all they can to get to me at the correct time but sometimes the rotas are difficult for them to keep to time.

The care assessor attended the review with my mother and I. We discussed Mother's needs, any further needs and how the carers were managing her needs. All was satisfactory and we are really pleased with the care, consideration and work of the carers who attend to her needs. Thank you very much to you all.

I must also mention our regular carer, who has done an outstanding job in looking after my child. Her dedication, patience, and hard work have been invaluable in meeting my child's specific needs. My son has received a very good level of care, with all staff being caring and attentive. There have been some issues with staff consistency however the team have always ensured they have explored as many options as possible to avoid disruption to us as a family. We have been supported by a fair few agencies over the years but Alcedo have been the best by far and I feel extremely confident in their capabilities to give my son the care he deserves.

My wife's condition means she requires consistency of care and carers, and the care coordinator is very good and understands this and makes sure it happens. Alcedo provides care to my 96-year-old father, who lives on his own. We have a detailed care plan in place and I can check that his needs have been met. As his needs evolve, the management are flexible and innovative in providing and increasing his support. The mechanics of the support management are excellent. Fundamentally, care depends on the quality of carers. The team supporting my father have to know him and their care for him is exemplary. He is treated with dignity and provided with love. One carer in particular does a great job and a lot for her and makes her laugh. Time keeping is good, if I have any problems, it is dealt with straight away.

Extremely helpful, professional staff, going the extra mile to facilitate my father's needs in an efficient and caring way. Everyone I have dealt with has been so friendly and supportive. I feel confident that my Dad is going to get the support he needs to live independently for as long as possible.

The carers are very supportive and friendly. They are very patient and no job is hard for them. They support me with washing and dressing my top half due to a shoulder operation in January. They wash my hair, assist with my shower, change my bed for me and do other jobs I cannot do myself. At the moment they have a staff shortage due to holidays and sickness, so the times are various at the moment, but otherwise very good service. I would also like to thank the office staff too.

The carers sent to look after my wife was always on time, had a pleasant attitude, and were very attentive to her needs. Very willing to do anything to make her more at home.

The care given by the team was beyond amazing. How they calmed my nan on her bad days. The peace of mind they gave the family knowing she is being looked after to the highest standard and she also had a smile on her face when they had been around. The support given while my grandad was in hospital, I can't give them thanks enough.

I have my own business and hear of problems with some care companies so I was very worried about bringing carers in. But I'm very happy with my choice of Alcedo as my mum is my priority and I'm confident Mum is in good hands.
