Alcedo Care Blackpool

Alcedo care has been there for me over the last 12 months. The carers are kind, friendly, caring and compassionate. They are also very respectful. They have helped me maintain my normal way of life which I am so grateful for. I couldn’t recommend this company enough.

A fantastic service. Was amazed at how fast they were to react and assist with our needs. The impact of having a daily visit has helped improve morale and provided some respite for the whole family. Knowing that we can lean on Alcedo for more support removes a huge burden.

My husband who has progressive MS needed emergency cover over the bank holiday weekend after a month's stay in hospital. The staff we came into contact with from Alcedo Care Blackpool, were very friendly, caring, and professional. The care given was of a high standard and they made my husband comfortable. Thank you.

I would say that most of the carers have been very pleasant and easy to talk to, I haven't met all of the carers yet. Some go out of their way to be extremely helpful. I would recommend one carer in particular to anyone, he is a very helpful, caring, and lovely person who has made a big difference to help my Auntie settle back in her own surroundings.

Alcedo Care staff showed compassion towards my mother and gave her dignity on her final journey, and for their support given to me.

I am very happy with the care Mum receives on her visits. She is happy and likes to chat with them.

Never missed a visit to date and give me welcome relief to know my mum is being cared for when I am unavailable. They always try to ensure my mum is treated with respect and dignity which is important to her.

My dad is bed-bound, on oxygen, and on an end-of-life pathway. The staff at Alcedo are all extremely professional, caring, and friendly. They treat my dad with the dignity and respect he deserves, he having been a true gentleman all his life. I am currently living with him and my Mum, who has dementia, and the staff are caring of me too, always willing to lend a hand with Mum in times of need. I have found the management team always very accommodating of our personal needs. I don't know how I would manage without the support of Alcedo Care, and I can't recommend them enough. Thank you.

My mum has MND and needs complex care with her condition changing all the time. The manager at Alcedo Care is always happy to accommodate the needs of my mum. Previous to Alcedo Care we used 3 different care agencies. Alcedo Care are so professional and caring, even when things go wrong they're always happy to sort this out and work out a better way to work. Every credit to all the carers involved in mum's care. Without the continuing support from the manager and her amazing team, I don't know as a family where we would be. Thanks again.

My husband left hospital after a long stay. We had to adjust our home to accommodate the equipment required for him to be cared for at home. Alcedo Care was the homecare service. The carers were always pleasant and assisted my husband with his personal hygiene and getting dressed. They treated him with dignity and that made him very comfortable. He soon bonded with them and enjoyed their company They soon recognised if he was not too well and would adjust their care to give him time to do things. I can't praise them enough for their commitment and professionalism. They are a credit to your service.

The care which my husband received was exemplary. He was cared for with kindness, gentleness and dignity. The care also was offered to me which I appreciated. The caring was given so promptly when I first rang you. So thank you so very much, his last days were as good as possible.

My mother returned from hospital to home 13th November 2020 during a long battle with cancer, having also contracted covid in hospital. The Alcedo team were absolutely fantastic, showing care and understanding to my sister and I but more importantly, gave my mum dignity in her final few days. I cannot thank nor praise the team highly enough, they were amazing and made this most difficult time easier to deal with. Thank you so very much.

We can't thank Alcedo Care enough for their help and support when I suddenly went downhill with terminal cancer. The minute we were fast-tracked they sent three carers a day (2 x half hours a day). My morning regular care has been outstanding, helping me wash, which I was most worried about. I've felt comfortable and kept all my dignity. She is extremely patient and efficient at the same time for all the other tasks. The other team members are great too and all very punctual. I don't know how we would have coped without Alcedo. Thank you very much.

I have found all the carers to be efficient but patient with my husband, and I have appreciated all their support. It has been a pleasure to have them in my home helping me to care for my husband in his final weeks. It has been a comfort to know that I have been able to share with the carers any problems that I have faced.

My dad adored the three male carers they truly are amazing the whole team were amazing, they helped us through our hardest times even took time out of their day to ask if we were ok and need anything, they treated my dad like he was family to them and they truly are our heroes when needed the most, always made my dad smile, giggle and they brought his life back his last days was made like he had the rest of his life, the team was fantastic and I truly miss them thank you so much for bringing hope life and happiness to my dad.

They are an excellent company with fantastic staff and I would easily recommend them to anyone who needs care.

I have been a service user for the company for about 4 months now and feel this is the best company I have had! Carers have always treated me with amazing care and respect. They make me feel important while performing their duties. Carers go above and beyond to try and help/support me. They are very encouraging and they fill me with confidence while I progress with my mobility. They are making my dream to get back baking a reality.

Staff very friendly very very caring have a good chat and banter with my mum. Staff always go the extra mile. Staff also sing to her and make her feel more comfortable. I couldn’t have found a better care agency.
