Caring, compassionate and gentle ministrations to my late husband. Friendliness and good humour from all Alcedo carers. Would highly recommend it to all in need. In fact, cannot find enough superlatives to praise them enough.

Living 70 miles away from my dear sister I am so pleased that Alcedo Care is responsible for her care. Since they have taken over her care she has improved in both body and spirit, regaining her vest for life. I have only met with one of Alcedo's staff but was impressed by the professionalism and the empathy he showed her. Taking time out to provide exercises and despite what must have been a busy schedule, he was keen to converse and share aspects of his life with her. I am extremely impressed by this company and would recommend them without hesitation.

I cannot thank you enough for the care you provide for mum. The small team of carers are like extended family as mum enjoys their visits because they always make her laugh. The carers are proactive in finding ways to help mum and carry out tasks in a professional manner, whilst being sensitive to her dignity. Any concerns about mum's health or well-being are recorded and followed up immediately. The care assessor responds quickly to any changes in support required and like the rest of the team, goes above and beyond what is required to ensure mum is well cared for. Thank you so much.

The care team are absolutely brilliant. They arrive on time each day and nothing is too much trouble. They treat my husband with dignity and are always so kind and pleasant and very helpful. They go out of their way to make things as easy as possible for both of us.

My mum has MND and needs complex care with her condition changing all the time. The manager at Alcedo Care is always happy to accommodate the needs of my mum. Previous to Alcedo Care we used 3 different care agencies. Alcedo Care are so professional and caring, even when things go wrong they're always happy to sort this out and work out a better way to work. Every credit to all the carers involved in mum's care. Without the continuing support from the manager and her amazing team, I don't know as a family where we would be. Thanks again.

My husband left hospital after a long stay. We had to adjust our home to accommodate the equipment required for him to be cared for at home. Alcedo Care was the homecare service. The carers were always pleasant and assisted my husband with his personal hygiene and getting dressed. They treated him with dignity and that made him very comfortable. He soon bonded with them and enjoyed their company They soon recognised if he was not too well and would adjust their care to give him time to do things. I can't praise them enough for their commitment and professionalism. They are a credit to your service.

All the carers that I have met who visit my brother are really professional, kind and friendly. This morning my brother was unwell and a member of staff from the office rang to let me know. It’s really reassuring to know they keep me updated as I do not live at the address. The office staff I have spoken to are also really nice and helpful and we want to thank them all. They all do an amazing job and especially during these difficult and uncertain times. Thank you.

The care which my husband received was exemplary. He was cared for with kindness, gentleness and dignity. The care also was offered to me which I appreciated. The caring was given so promptly when I first rang you. So thank you so very much, his last days were as good as possible.

My mother returned from hospital to home 13th November 2020 during a long battle with cancer, having also contracted covid in hospital. The Alcedo team were absolutely fantastic, showing care and understanding to my sister and I but more importantly, gave my mum dignity in her final few days. I cannot thank nor praise the team highly enough, they were amazing and made this most difficult time easier to deal with. Thank you so very much.

I have been very impressed with the care and support given by the company and more importantly the carers who have come in to support my mum. Their patience, professionalism, knowledge and dedication has been first class. I have found all the carers to be trustworthy and taken a personal interest in the wellbeing of my mum. I could not fault the care we have received from Alcedo Care. The carers were so kind and loving. We both felt compassion from them and friendship. They went the extra mile.

Excellent care, excellent communication with office and carers.

The company as a whole has worked as one doing what is best for Mum. Dialogue between the office and myself has always been positive. The care given to Mum and my husband has always been about them and their needs. The relationship with my mum (who has stage 6 dementia) has taken time to build and now she is beginning to respond. I think this is down to the small number of carers attending on a regular basis.

The standard of care is high and most carers go above and beyond what is required of them, actively encouraging as much independence as possible. He is treated with dignity and respect.

We can't thank Alcedo Care enough for their help and support when I suddenly went downhill with terminal cancer. The minute we were fast-tracked they sent three carers a day (2 x half hours a day). My morning regular care has been outstanding, helping me wash, which I was most worried about. I've felt comfortable and kept all my dignity. She is extremely patient and efficient at the same time for all the other tasks. The other team members are great too and all very punctual. I don't know how we would have coped without Alcedo. Thank you very much.

My father and I are extremely happy with the service and care provided by Alcedo Care. My dad has vascular dementia and lives by himself. My sister and I realised that he needed prompts to look after his basic needs, so arranged for some care to be put in place. He was reluctant at first but after an initial visit, his mind was eased and he realised that the help would be good. He now looks forward to his visits as he has built up a relationship with all his carers. They are all very dedicated and thoughtful. One recent example of this is when they found out it was the anniversary of his long time partner's death, they clubbed together to buy him some flowers (he loves flowers) and he was really moved by the gesture. The staff always go to great lengths to make sure that my dad's needs are met and that he is comfortable and we thank them for that. It eases our minds knowing that there is someone caring for my dad, twice a day, every day. Thank you for everything you do.
