I am very pleased with the standard of care provided. Care and support are shown genuine interest in her well being; punctuality is generally good and with three visits every day. Regular carers have become part of our extended family. Overall management seems well organised so that constant staff changes have minimal impact. As for value for money, this is fine just as long as the money lasts!
Thank you for your review. With 2 Caregivers on each visit, 3 times a day, our priority is to maintain a consistent team for your wife and to make sure that any new staff joining the team receive comprehensive training to allow them to deliver the very best care to meet her needs fully. I am glad that you feel we are meeting this objective.
Right from the start, you have proved to be very caring, efficient and extremely capable of providing my Dad with the best possible care he could have. He is very fond of his carers and enjoys their visits. I feel greatly relieved that he is in such lovely hands, and it has stopped me from worrying about him all the time. Thank you, we all appreciate the wonderful work you are doing with our dad.
Thank you for taking the time to review our service. We always strive to provide the very best care and we are delighted that things are working out so well for your dad. It is also lovely to hear that this has helped to give you peace of mind.
The team of carers have been from their first day an exceptional asset to the daily well-being of my husband. They are professional in their manner when using all the equipment to ensure my husband is safe and comfortable. Each has different personalities which have shone through when dealing with his personal care. At all times, my husband's dignity has been respected with kindness and compassion. At difficult times, they have been a great support to me with their cheerfulness and kindness.
Thank you so much for such a lovely review. We are delighted that you are finding the care to be an asset and that you are finding the Caregivers to be professional, caring and supportive.
The care and dedication of the carers were more than we could have hoped for.
We really appreciate your kind review. Thank you for taking the time to let us know how you found the service. We are so pleased that we were able to help.
The care provided for my partner has been very excellent and I couldn't be more pleased with the way they have been treating her.
We appreciate you taking the time to review us. We are delighted that you are finding the support provided by the team to be so good. We always strive to provide the very best care we can. Thank you again for the review.
The standard of care and professionalism from the Home Instead care team was excellent.
Thank you for taking the time to review us. It was our great privilege to care for your husband.
I was quite anxious about finding caregivers for my Mum when we moved her to live nearby us. I rang three local and Home Instead arranged a meeting with me and Mum quickly, and we were impressed by that first meeting. Since then, they have cared for my mum's needs with compassion, kindness and good humour, and she felt supported and safe with all the girls who helped her. When she needed to increase visits after a fall, the team worked quickly to put together extra care and the transition was made with no problems. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this team of caregivers to anyone who is looking for support; they've been truly amazing. My mum has had to go into a residential care home now, but the girls have rung me to ask how she's settled, which is really going above and beyond. They're not the cheapest, but they're well worth every penny, as are all caregivers who have put themselves in harm's way during recent difficult times.
Thank you so much for this lovely review. We have loved looking after your mum and her team are missing their visits with her. Thank you for trusting us with her care. She is a very special lady. We wish her - and all your family - the very best for the future.
I would like to say how impressed I am with the standard of care received by my husband over the last month. He is recovering from major surgery and has needed a short period of care. We are so glad that we chose Home Instead and would be happy to recommend them to anyone. The staff were genuinely caring, and a pleasure to have in our home. I'm sure that we will miss them now that our period of care is over!
Thank you for your kind review. It was our pleasure to care for your husband and we wish you both the very best for the future.
The Company has fulfilled every commitment they have made, and clearly have an effective system for filtering and training prospective carers. Personally, I have been very impressed with the consistently high standard of carers presented, together with their high levels of compliance, often with fairly complex requirements.
Thank you for taking the time to review our service. We are delighted that you have found the team to be well trained and competent in all aspects of your care. This is something that we do pride ourselves on, and we do invest in the professional development of our staff to ensure that clients, like yourself, receive the highest possible quality support.
If you want an outstanding team of caregivers to look after your loved one, then look no further than Home Instead. They looked after my relative for over 2-years and went above and beyond in every respect of her care. I often had daily contact with the team for various reasons and was always kept fully informed of the current situation. Emergencies we dealt with swiftly and competently and at no point did I ever feel that she was not receiving the very best of care. Living away from our relative that was extremely important to us. We feel very privileged to have had such a dedicated and loving team taking care of her and also providing support to us when needed. We had regular reviews to assess the level of care was being given was correct, and the team went above and beyond to help keep her stimulated and happy. Finally, the team went above and beyond to transition our relative into full-time care at very short notice and continued to provide support to her new carers and us too.
Thank you for your lovely review. We are so proud of the team that cared for your loved one. We know they are really missing her now that she has moved to residential care but they are looking forward to visiting her in her new home. It has been our absolute privilege and pleasure to care for such a special lady over the past two years. Thank you for trusting us with her care.
Home Instead Senior Care (South Lakes) all acted with care and compassion at every visit, greatly exceeding our expectations and we would not hesitate in recommending the service to anyone requiring care at home.
Thank you for your kind review. It was our absolute pleasure and privilege to care for your mother.
Our family is very grateful for the care given by the team supporting mum and dad. They are all kind, caring, hardworking and respond well to mum's needs on a daily basis. They ensure that dad gets his well earned rest and mum enjoys a good rapport with all the girls and looks forward to their visits. It gives us peace of mind knowing that when we cannot be there mum and dad are well supported.
Thank you for taking the time to review our service. We are delighted that you and your parents are so happy with the support we provide.
We cannot thank the team at Home Instead enough for the compassionate care that my lovely Nan has received over the last few years, but especially since coming out of hospital recently and being housebound. The amount of care that Nan now requires could feel quite intrusive, but it doesn't feel anything like that; the carers are kind, friendly and it feels like they are now just extra members of our family. They are punctual, stay longer than the allotted time (if required) and go above and beyond.
Thank you for your lovely review. It is our pleasure and privilege to care for your Nan.
From the initial enquiry, the service offered by Home Instead has been amazing. Their friendly, professional, caring and engaging approach to their clients, families and the service they provide is fantastic. We have felt our views matter and that they are truly there to help and support us rather than just doing it as a necessary job. Their attention to detail gives us the confidence in the service they are providing and we feel very safe and secure in their hands. Moving to Home Instead has without a shadow of a doubt been the best thing we have done and my family member is the happiest I have seen them. It would not be an exaggeration to say that the improvement it has brought to his life is huge and we can't thank the whole team at Home Instead enough for this. As a person trying to juggle caring for a family member with my own family and work commitments, this has been worth its weight in gold and gives me so much comfort and reassurance.
Thank you for taking the time to review our service and for your kind words. It is a real privilege for us to work with your family member and we are delighted that you are so happy with how things are going. We always strive to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients, to help them...
Have been using service for 7/8 years in a previous area and for a year plus here at Kendal.
Thank you for taking the time to review us. We are so happy that you are pleased with our service.
Home Instead has provided an excellent service, from the initial meeting to on-going care. The company ensured the needs/preferences of my mother-in-law were matched with the most appropriate Caregivers. They introduced each Caregiver so my mother-in-law was never faced with somebody turning up that she hadn’t been introduced to - an excellent safety measure. The Caregivers have been excellent and nothing is too much trouble. They are friendly, professional, always punctual and treat her with dignity. At the end of the first month, the Care Manager came out to undertake a review of the services to check if we had any issues or would like any changes and improvements. Our feedback was that we were more than happy with the current service.
The experience of Home Instead from the Manager, Office staff and Caregivers is one of a well run, organised and joined up service. My mother-in-law is very content with her care and looks forward to her daily visits.
Thank you for this lovely review. We are so pleased that you and your mother-in-law are so happy with our service. We always strive to provide the very best quality support and it's great to hear that this is working so well for you.
Home Instead looked after my dad for the last 5 months. He has Alzheimer's and I live 2 hours away, but I was soon reassured he was being very well looked after. A small team of wonderful carers gained his trust and built up fantastic relationships in a very short time. Communication is very important to me and this was also excellent. Nothing was too much trouble for the office staff or carers (even trips to A&E when needed!), and great communication and record keeping among the staff meant that everyone knew what was needed. The service is not cheap, but this does mean the staff are well trained and motivated, can go those extra miles, and can take their time and not rush, and this is value for money when you need to have total confidence that your loved one is safe and happy. After an illness dad finally needed 24-hour care and had to move, but I am so grateful for the happy times he had at home with his CAREgivers and the peace of mind they gave me. Thanks so much to the team!
Thank you for this lovely review. It was our privilege to care for your father. He is such a wonderful gentleman and the team all miss him. We wish him (and you) lots of happy times together now that he is living nearer to you and you can spend more time together. Thank you for entrusting his care to us for the past 5 months.
The carer arrived promptly all ready for the walk. After signing in we set off to places which were relatively level. She walked at the right pace and she was very attentive to any hazards, potholes and sticks lying on the paths. We had interesting conversations, particularly about the trees in parklands. The weather was fine most days and the walks improved my walking. She was an interested companion.
Thank you for this lovely review. We are so glad that you enjoy your walks with our CAREGiver and that you feel this has benefitted you. She really enjoys her visits with you too and the conversations that you have together.
Everyone we have had contact with at the agency has been brilliant: professional, kind, caring and flexible. My husband is very happy to see his carers and looks forward to the visits. They are always quick to respond to my requests and are very understanding. I would recommend them to anyone looking for someone to help in this difficult situation.
Thank you for your review. We are so pleased that you and your husband are happy with the service. We always endeavour to be responsive and it appears that we have achieved this in your case. Thank you again.
From day 1, the care was very good and still remains the same.
Thank you for your kind review. I am so glad you have been pleased with the support we are providing.
