Caremark Dartford & Gravesham

I can't praise the carers Caremark, Gravesend sent to us highly enough. My mother has advanced vascular dementia and the carers understood her and engaged her in a variety of activities. We are truly grateful for the support we have received and for how responsive Caremark were to helping us care for Mum in what has been a tricky period for us. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend you to anyone who needs help to care for a family member.

Caremark has been looking after my grandmother since December 2020. All the carers are well trained and really helpful. My grandmother's mobility has improved and she can walk around the house independently. The office staff are very helpful and supportive too. I would definitely recommend Caremark.

We are happy with our carer. Mum feels at ease with her. She is always on time which helps us plan our day and when I can prepare her first meal. Care of my mum has improved as her carer has become more used to her role, although when she first came she didn't seem to have been offered much training. I would just suggest more training for new employees. We are generally very happy with her now.

I was extremely pleased with the help I had, owing to me breaking my ribs. The carers were extremely caring and helpful. I cannot comment on value for money as it was a social services referral.

Caremark (Dartford & Gravesham) are easy to deal with. The standard of carers is very good with one particular carer being exceptional. He treats my father as if he were his own, uses his initiative, is always willing to go the extra mile and doesn't miss a thing. It's great to know that your loved one is being looked after so well when you live far away.

Caremark (Dartford & Gravesham) provided a faultless service for my grandma. Right from the assessment through to the delivery of care, the team were extremely proactive and kept us up to date at every step. The carers have been so kind, supportive and we are blessed to have them support our loved one. I would recommend Caremark (Dartford & Gravesham) to anyone in the area.

I really don't know how I would have managed without them. I have used other care providers who will do the job, but with Caremark, I felt that my responsibility was shared. With their support, I was able to keep my mother at home throughout her illness and for this, I will always be grateful.

I particularly valued Caremark because of the careful choice they made of a carer who would suit my uncle's needs. It was the skills and compassion of this first carer that gradually convinced my uncle that he needed personal care and paved the way to a much more comfortable life for him. I also particularly value the responsiveness of the Caremark coordinators. As my uncle grew more frail, he was frequently taken into hospital for short stays; Caremark ensured that there was always someone there when he arrived home, and provided overnight care at short notice. We are very grateful.

We recently needed twice-daily care for my elderly father who had worsening dementia and has now gone into full-time care. I can’t praise Caremark’s staff enough for the fantastic service they provided over the course of the few weeks they were looking after him. I don’t know how we would have coped without them, it was so reassuring knowing they were going in and helping him with daily tasks, administering tablets and cooking his meals etc. They were fabulous!

Last Wednesday evening I needed to arrange a night sitter for my elderly mother, who was extremely unwell. Although it was at very short notice, Caremark arranged for a young lady to sit through the night as company for my mother and to give her frequent drinks of water, as she was very dehydrated. The care assistant was an excellent choice. She gave my mother frequent drinks of water through the night and chatted with her during the periods while she was awake. She was friendly, helpful and professional and spoke to me by telephone the next morning to update me on the situation. My mother felt comfortable and confident in her company. I can thoroughly recommend the care assistant and Caremark itself.

Although I have not been with them for a long time, I can't fault them. And I am not expecting that to change.

The care provided by your carers was top class, the lovely ladies were friendly, caring, kind, considerate, loving and professional to my wife's grandmother who passed away yesterday, aged 108 1/2. Your wonderful care was over 8 weeks whilst the client moved in with us for palliative care. Your lovely ladies provided more than expected and gave a very high standard of service for your company. Thoroughly satisfied and impressed.

Caremark is a very good company. I am so glad that I found them. The staff in charge are very competent and deal with any problems immediately. If there is a problem with my mum when the carers attend, the carer informs the office who then, in turn, contact me. I never have to worry about how my mum is or whether she has fallen over as I know that they are going to report any problems to me. The carers are very friendly to my mum and take good care of her. The bungalow is always clean and tidy as they help my mum to tidy up and help her with the washing up whilst having a good chat with her. My mum enjoys the carers company. My mum has the same carer in the morning and a different one at night that way she knows who is coming in and she has built a good relationship with them. I would definitely recommend Caremark to anyone else. I have nothing but praise for them.

Caremark and the carers and support staff were brilliant and helped with my father's care very professionally. Always friendly and very helpful at all times. All his main carers always went above their duties and made all the months go by much quicker than they could have been. We are very grateful to Caremark and all the team for providing such wonderful care in trying times. Thank you very much.

They were very caring and wonderful with my husband, who could be awkward at times, put him at ease. Also were very kind to me when I was unwell and upset.
