Over all time Right at Home Cheshire East has 76 reviews.
The care from Right at Home has been consistently excellent. Compassionate to my needs and understanding of what I require.
The Right at Home (Cheshire East) carers were a great help! They couldn't have done anymore for my relative. They made an extremely tough time, for myself and my family, a lot easier. I would definitely recommend to any other families in a similar situation. The management team were great and they gave me regular updates.
We have been with this company for a month now and I'm impressed with the overall care, not only to the patient, but care given to the carers themselves. The staff are punctual, polite, efficient and they truly care. They lift the spirit of the patient, which is highly important. We have been with another company, but none compare to these standards.
My husband, who has motor neurone disease and now has no movement in his body, has had care from Right at Home for the last 12 months. He has very minimal communication. The carers over the last 12 months have mainly been excellent and show a good understanding of his complex needs. He has care every morning to shower and dress him and move him from the bedroom to his chair in the lounge. He has to have 2 carers to hoist and turn him. He enjoys the camaraderie of the carers and rewards them with a smile. Most of the time, the service has been excellent. Communication is very important.
Since Right at Home Cheshire East have taken over my husband's care there has been a vast improvement. All staff are professional and have great people skills. We feel we are the most important to them when they are here. I have already recommended them to others. Thank you.
Right at Home have been looking after my father following a discharge from hospital. Following a terminal diagnosis, the family were struggling to cope and very worried about how we would be able to look after him. Right at Home stepped in with less than 24hrs notice. They have been wonderful with him, and the carers have made him smile and laugh whilst looking after him. He has regular carers and looks forward to seeing them. They have also offered support to the wider family. We are now able to spend time with him as a family as they have taken away so much pressure.
My regular carers do go above and beyond with their treatment. They always do their tasks in a pleasant manner making my personal care bearable prioritising my independence and always with a sense of humour. I regard them as friends.
Carers go above and beyond for me, nothing is ever too much for them when I ask for help, from housework to medication they do a marvellous job. I like my regular caregivers as they know my routine and make me laugh everyday, which again is a good thing. Happy with everything so far!
We swapped to a different agency around April this year and they have been amazing. Sadly Mum passed away in June, but we were glad that at least the care at the end of her life was excellent.
Our aim is to provide the best possible care to those we support. From inception of mum’s care package, we raised with you that 24hr care would have been more suitable given mum’s condition, this was something you did not wish to proceed with. During the unprecedented pandemic the impact of...
I had excellent advice prior to engagement which gave me all of the info I needed to discuss my father's needs with the NHS. When he was discharged Right at Home did a great job of supplying helpful, quality carers at very short notice. Since day one they have been excellent, flexible and professional. Very happy with the service.
Right at Home have been looking after my granddad for a few months now and have gone above and beyond to care for him. They make sure he's clean, fed and is set up for the day ahead. They don't just care for him physically either they offer mental checkups and have genuine relationships with him. I couldn't be happier with their service.
From the very start Right at Home Cheshire East were a brilliant company, very professional and reliable. The carers went that extra mile to make my mum feel supported throughout visits. They always wear the correct PPE and even down to the office team, always on hand if we needed anything. Would recommend this company 100%.
The team were/are brilliant at advising and helping my sister who has early-onset Alzheimer's. Their time, patience and understanding has been evident throughout our journey and the service they have provided has been outstanding
Mum's carer is very attentive, good company and very thoughtful. She doesn't need to have things explained more than once and is adaptable and accommodating to Mum's "funny ways". Always on time, traffic permitting.
My experience has been that they will move mountains to do their very best for their clients. We have been through a short but very difficult time and Right at Home have supported us every step of the way. I cannot thank them enough.
Fantastic care and support given to our mum. Very professional, reliable, and friendly. Great support for the whole family too! Always go the extra mile, doing mum's hair, nails, and glasses etc. I have total peace of mind now Right at Home are here looking after our mum.
The care that you are providing is truly outstanding. I am impressed with the consistency of carers provided, well-matched to mum which was promised at the initial consultation. The home care and personal care that Right at Home provide is second to none. I cannot thank them enough for the reassurance that I have knowing mum is cared for. Communication is key, and the management team ensure that we are kept informed.
We have found your team of carers very helpful and understanding. They have really excelled in making my wife clean and comfortable. They are all very comforting to us both at all times and during the night visit.
An excellent service. The staff rota is carefully worked out to ensure a good match between carer and client. The rota is kept to a minimum so that my husband gets to know the carers and can build up a rapport with them. The standard of personal care is very good and the carers take the time to ensure that he is happy and motivated. He has made excellent progress in just one week and is a different person already.
The carers have all been considerate and supportive to my wife's needs, giving her time as she wishes to do things herself with care and support as needed. The management have been involved throughout the period of care, checking on any possible issues, listening to any concerns or changes in her needs; being responsive and proactive.

Meet the Team (14)
Hello there! I'm Rebecca Whiting, the proud owner, managing director and Registered Manager of Right at Home Cheshire East. Since creating this business in June 2018, I've been passionately leading our team to provide empathetic and high-quality home care services. What fuels my drive? The incredible opportunity to help individuals stay comfortably in their homes, surrounded by their families, and make a meaningful difference in their lives every single day.
Working alongside a team that shares my dedication to caring for others is truly inspiring. We're not just colleagues; we're a family united by a common purpose.
Outside work, my life is a vibrant blend of staying fit at the gym, exploring new culinary delights, and quenching my wanderlust by travelling far and wide. And, of course, there's Dembe, my faithful German Shepard, who's more than a pet—he's part of my journey.
If I were to find myself on a deserted island, my unbreakable magic lighter would be my essential tool—not just for survival but as a reminder of the light we bring into the lives of those we care for. Every day presents a new challenge, but with empathy as my guide, I'm ready to meet them head-on.
Hi! I'm Stacey Ankers, and I've been the Care Manager at Right at Home since June 2022. My journey in care began at the age of 18, and it's been a rewarding adventure ever since. Leadership and adaptable communication are the cornerstones of my approach, enabling me to meet the unique needs of each service user with personalised, heartwarming care.
The aspects of my job that fill me with joy include delving into the life histories of our clients to craft care plans that are as unique as they are, finding ways to brighten their days, and supporting our care team's growth and development. These moments make every day worthwhile.
My home in Stockport is my sanctuary. I unwind with fundraising activities, cherish day trips with my son, and enjoy visits to the beach in Wales with my family and our dog, Ruby. A family photo is my treasure, capturing the essence of the love that drives me. Laugh with me at the thought of needing water on a desert island—the simple things matter most!
Hi, I'm Donna Tyson-Shore, the Care Manager at Right at Home since November 1, 2018. My journey in the health and social care sector began back in 2008, and it's been an enriching path of learning, growing, and helping others. My specialist skill lies in strategic management, which enables me to mentor our carers and clients effectively, ensuring we deliver exceptional home care assistance that truly makes a difference.
What do I love about my job? First, I am surrounded by leaders who nurture and share my values, which provides continuous opportunities for personal and professional growth. Second, I have the chance to contribute to my colleagues' development, enriching our collective knowledge and skills. Third, I meet the incredible people we support, learn about their lives, and craft person-centred care plans that empower them to achieve positive outcomes.
Living in Stretford offers me the perfect balance between urban life and access to nature, allowing me to indulge in my passions for reading, travelling, and hiking. And if I ever find myself on a desert island, I'd need a boat—because, let's face it, who wouldn't want the freedom to explore or escape?
On a personal note, my commitment to this field is driven by a natural inclination to help others. With qualifications ranging from NVQ levels 2 and 3, a healthcare management degree, to a chartered manager qualification, my goal has always been to lead by example. I strive to elevate the standards of care within the social care sector, ultimately improving the quality of life for everyone who requires our services.
Greetings! I'm Olivia Cheetham, the Recruitment Coordinator at Right at Home since October 13, 2020.
With over four years in the care sector, I've discovered that being a 'people person' is at the heart of everything I do. Finding the right people to join our team, ensuring no two days are the same, and feeling the rewarding nature of my work are what I live for.
Living in Cheadle Hulme with my three children, I balance my professional passions with the joys of motherhood, time with friends, and horse riding. Each day is a new opportunity to make a difference at home and in the work I'm so proud to be a part of.
On a deserted island, a lighter would be my chosen companion, symbolising the spark of potential in everyone we meet. My two cats, Sergio and Simba, add warmth and comfort to my life and remind me of the importance of care, companionship, and community.
Hello! I'm Leah Dixon, and I proudly joined Right at Home as a Team Leader on April 3, 2023. With over six years in the care sector, I've found my true calling in organising and leading our team to provide compassionate and effective care. What makes this role so rewarding?
It's the opportunity to meet new people, face diverse challenges every day, and make a real difference in the lives of those we serve.
My life outside of work, in Cheadle Hulme, is just as fulfilling. Whether I'm out walking my dog, Lulu, keeping my home spotless, or enjoying precious moments with friends, I cherish every experience.
My commitment to care extends beyond professional boundaries—a way of life. And if I were on a deserted island? Sunglasses would be my essential item, protecting my vision as we strive to bring clarity and support to those in need.
Hi there. I'm Josh McGovern, the enthusiastic Care Coordinator at Right at Home, who joined the team on January 22, 2024. My four years in the care sector have taught me the importance of organisation, building relationships, and making a tangible difference in the lives of our service users. This role brings me immense satisfaction, knowing I'm part of a team that positively impacts people's lives daily.
I call Manchester home, and when I'm not at work, I love socialising with friends, experiencing live music, and exploring new dining spots. Life is about the connections we make and the experiences we share, and I strive to bring this philosophy to my work every day.
On a deserted island, sun cream would be my indispensable item, reflecting my practical approach to life's challenges. With Willow and Doris, my dogs, life is an adventure filled with love and learning. Joining Right at Home has been a fulfilling journey, and I'm excited to see where it leads us together.
Hey, I'm Caitlin Maher, Right at Home's Compliance Officer since November 4, 2021. Over the past three years, I've been dedicated to ensuring our home care services meet the highest standards. I focus on working directly with our clients to ensure their needs and preferences are at the forefront of everything we do.
What do I love about my job? It's rewarding beyond words, supported by an incredible management team, and filled with opportunities to care for the fantastic people we work with. I'm a Stockport resident through and through. When I'm not at work, you can find me enjoying the thrill of banger racing, socialising with my friends, and indulging in my love for all things food.
My phone would be my must-have on a deserted island, keeping me connected to the world and the people I cherish. Willow, my loyal dog, is my companion in adventure and relaxation, reminding me of the joy and responsibility we carry in caring for others.
Hey there! I'm Leon, and I've been part of the Right at Home Cheshire East family as a Senior Night Carer since the winter of 2020. Stepping into this role in December was one of my best decisions. It marked a journey filled with growth, compassion, and the privilege of caring for others at night when they need it the most.
Being caring and compassionate isn't just what I do; it's who I am. These essential qualities drive me every night as I provide elderly care at home, ensuring our clients feel safe, supported, and understood during the hours when the world quiets down.
The profound satisfaction that comes from caring for people is extraordinary. There's something extraordinary about making someone's night safer and more comfortable.
I am grateful for the rewarding nature of my work. Every smile, thank you, and moment of peace I can bring to someone's night reminds me of my impact.
The endless learning opportunities. Whether enhancing my skills in night care or understanding the unique needs of those with dementia, every shift is a chance to grow.
Home for me is Gee Cross in Hyde, where I'm lucky enough to be surrounded by the love and chaos of my four Staffordshire Bull Terriers: Phoebe, Paige, Phoenix, and Penny. They're not just pets but part of my support system, providing endless joy and companionship.
Outside of work, my life is filled with hobbies that keep me active and bring me peace. Walking my dogs is more than exercise; it's my time to reflect, connect with nature, and enjoy the simple moments. Ice skating is my escape, a chance to glide away from life's stresses and embrace a feeling of freedom. And then there's my love for holidays—I treasure the opportunity to explore new places, experience different cultures, and make memories with my family.
Speaking of family, they are my world. If I found myself on a desert island, they're the one thing I couldn't live without. My family is my strength, motivation, and the reason I strive to be the best version of myself – both professionally and personally.
My journey in-home care, particularly in night care, has taught me the value of every interaction, the importance of kindness, and the impact of dedicated care. It's more than a job; it's a calling that has allowed me to make a real difference in the lives of those I care for. And for anyone considering a career in care, know that it's a path filled with challenges. Still, more importantly, it's one filled with immeasurable rewards, love, and the chance to be part of something exceptional.
Hi, I'm Freya Kelly, and I joined Right at Home Cheshire East in June 2024 as an Office Admin & Carer. From the moment I started, I've loved being part of this fantastic team. Every day is different, and I enjoy a dynamic environment where no two days are the same.
Being a people person is one of my strengths, which I bring into my role daily. Whether handling administrative tasks or providing homecare assistance to our clients, I find joy in connecting with people and helping them feel comfortable and supported. The feeling of being able to help people is incredibly fulfilling, and it's one of the main reasons I love my job. Plus, the team here is fantastic, and our camaraderie makes every day enjoyable.
I live locally, and I love playing tennis, socialising with friends, and attending concerts when I'm not working. These activities keep me energised and ready to face each new day with enthusiasm. At home, I'm also a proud pet parent to a fabulously loyal dog. He's not just a pet but a cherished family member, bringing joy and companionship to my life.
My phone would be my essential item if I were ever stranded on a desert island. Staying connected with friends and family is essential; my phone helps me do that.

Working here has been a rewarding experience, and I look forward to continuing to provide compassionate care and support to our clients. Whether through daily homecare assistance or more specialised care services, I'm committed to making a positive difference in the lives of those I support.
Hello, I'm Aimee.
I've been a Senior Care Assistant at Right at Home since January 8, 2024. Over the past eight months, I've found immense joy and fulfilment in my role. One thing you'll always see me doing is smiling—I believe that a simple smile can brighten someone's day and make a world of difference.
What I love most about my job is the opportunity to make someone smile or laugh at least once in their day. It's incredibly rewarding to know that I can bring our clients a bit of joy and comfort. Getting to know them and having meaningful conversations keeps my days vibrant and fulfilling. There's nothing quite like seeing a client happy and content.
If I ever found myself on a desert island, the one thing I'd bring with me is a book or my Kindle. Reading is my escape, and I can't imagine going without it. It's my way of exploring new worlds and ideas.

Our team is dedicated to ensuring that every client receives the best care possible, tailored to their individual needs. Hi, I'm Lisa, and my journey with Right at Home began on a sunny day in August 2020. Fresh from my travels, stepping into the role of Caregiver was a new chapter for me, one filled with discovery, learning, and immense satisfaction. Living in Hazel Grove has given me the opportunity to be part of a community where I can make a real difference through elderly care at home and homecare assistance.
What sets me apart is my ability to adapt to any situation. This skill has been a cornerstone of my caregiving approach, allowing me to confidently and flexibly meet our client's diverse needs. This adaptability makes each day varied, fulfilling, and immensely rewarding.
The aspects of my job that I treasure the most reflect the very essence of why I chose this path. Each day's variety keeps me engaged and eager to face new challenges. I am fulfilled knowing that the care I provide enhances the lives of those I work with, offering them comfort and companionship. And the sense of reward? It's unparalleled, knowing that I've contributed positively to someone's day, making their life a little easier and a lot happier.
When I'm not providing home care or dementia home care, I'm usually outdoors, embracing the beauty of nature through walking, running, or simply relaxing. Spending quality time with family and friends is another joy, strengthening bonds and creating memories. Travelling has always been a passion of mine, opening my eyes to new experiences and perspectives that I now bring into my caregiving role.
On a desert island, the one thing I couldn't live without is music. It's a source of comfort, motivation, and joy for me, much like the care I aim to provide for others.
A personal note from me: My venture into care needed to be planned. Returning from my travels in 2020, I sought something meaningful, something where I could make a tangible difference. That's how I found myself in care, and I've never looked back. The opportunity to meet and support a wide variety of people, each with their unique stories and needs, has been incredibly rewarding. It's affirmed my commitment to this field, and I see myself continuing to grow and contribute to the world of care long term.
Being part of the Right at Home team has been a growth, learning, and fulfilment journey. It's not just about providing homecare; it's about enriching lives, including my own. Every day is a new opportunity to learn, to adapt, and to make a difference, and I'm here for it all, with open arms and a heart ready to care.
Hi there! I’m Jane Hill, and I’ve been working as an Office Admin for as long as I can remember—well, 26 years, to be exact! Before joining the incredible team at Right at Home Cheshire East, I spent over two decades honing my organisational skills, which have become my specialist area of expertise. I’m the person who loves to keep everything running smoothly, making sure all the pieces fit together perfectly. There’s something incredibly rewarding about knowing that my organisational skills help make a difference in the daily lives of our clients and my colleagues.
One of the things I love most about my job is the variety of people I get to interact with. Being a people person, I thrive on the connections I make every day. It’s not just about keeping things in order; it’s about being part of a team that genuinely cares about each other and the people we support.
I live in Disley, a lovely area that’s close to everything I need, including my children and grandchildren, who are the lights of my life. When I’m not busy at work, you’ll often find me spending quality time with them. Whether it’s reading a good book or soaking up the sun on a well-deserved holiday, I always make the most of my downtime. And speaking of downtime, if I ever found myself on a desert island, I’d definitely need a lifetime supply of teabags—I mean, who doesn’t love a good brew?
Although I don’t have any pets, I certainly have my hands full with my family and my job. At the end of the day, knowing that I’ve played a part in supporting our clients at Right at Home Cheshire East gives me immense satisfaction. It’s not just a job to me; it’s about being part of something bigger—making sure that everything runs smoothly so that we can provide the best possible care to those who need it.
Hi, I’m Stu, and I’m a Senior Carer at Right at Home Cheshire East. I officially joined the organisation in February 2025, but I’ve been working in senior care roles for over four years now, and I can honestly say it’s the most fulfilling job I’ve ever had.
Care work isn’t just about meeting someone’s basic needs; it’s about helping people live with dignity, purpose, and independence. That’s what drives me every single day. Supporting our Clients to remain in the comfort of their own homes, especially across Stockport East, is more than just a service; it’s a responsibility I take great pride in.
One of my specialist skills is complex care, which means I often work with Clients who have more advanced or specific health needs. I thrive in those situations. I love being able to provide not only practical care but emotional support too, for both the Client and their families. Sometimes, just being a calm and reliable presence can make all the difference.
This job is incredibly rewarding. Whether I’m supporting someone through a challenging diagnosis, helping them with daily routines, or simply sharing a few moments of laughter, every day is meaningful. I also get to be part of an amazing team of CareGivers and support staff who genuinely care, we all go above and beyond for our Clients.
I live in Stockport myself, so providing home care in Stockport East feels very personal. These are my neighbours, my community, and I feel privileged to support them in living safely and happily in their own homes.
Outside of work, I’m a big fan of anything active. I enjoy long walks, swimming, and trying out new restaurants when I can. There’s something about relaxing with a good meal after a busy day that just hits the spot. I also share my home with two much-loved pets: Holly the dog and Bella the cat. They keep things interesting, to say the least!
And in case you’re wondering, if I were stuck on a desert island, I’d take… myself. Because why not? I like a challenge!
Being part of the Right at Home team has only strengthened my belief in the importance of personalised, compassionate care. It’s a team effort, and I’m proud to be someone families can count on. Whether it’s short-term support or complex, ongoing care, I’ll always do my best to be a steady hand, a kind face, and someone who really listen
I’ve always been a hardworking, caring, and loving person, and those qualities really shine in this role. Every day, I have the opportunity to get to know our Clients, their stories, their personalities, and what matters most to them. That’s one of the things I love most about the job: everyone is unique, and there’s always something new to learn from the people we support.
Whether it’s through personal care, clinical assistance, or simply being someone to talk to, I believe in offering consistent, compassionate support. I take great pride in being someone our Clients and their families can rely on. It’s incredibly rewarding to know that I’ve helped someone feel safer, more comfortable, or less alone.
One of my favourite parts of the job is providing companionship care in Poynton and the surrounding areas. That one-to-one time spent with Clients, whether we’re out for a walk, having a chat over lunch, or just listening to music together, can have such a big impact. It’s these moments of friendship and trust that make the work so special.
I live in Manchester, but I travel across Cheshire East as part of my role, and I love getting to visit different places. I enjoy walking and exploring new areas; it helps me recharge and gives me a fresh perspective. I’m also really into gaming and technology (a bit of a tech enthusiast, to be honest!), and I never say no to a good music session. Whether it's relaxing with a playlist or sharing tunes with a Client, music has a way of bringing people together.
If I ever found myself stranded on a desert island, I’d definitely bring food, because, well, who wouldn’t? Priorities!
One thing I’d add is that I genuinely love getting to know people. Building friendships, even in the simplest ways, is something I value deeply, both at work and in life. At Right at Home, I feel like I’ve found the perfect place to keep doing what I love: supporting others, creating connections, and being part of something truly meaningful.
