Flexible, professional and friendly I cannot recommend highly enough.
Thank you for these very kind words which mean so much to the team. It was an honour and a privilege to support Mum, at home, for as long as possible.
We were most impressed by the professionalism of the service provided throughout. The initial assessment was very thorough and identified our needs most carefully. All the carers, and particularly our principal carer (who assisted us throughout the period that we needed assistance) were always prompt and obliging and more than willing to carry out more mundane tasks if asked to do so. We would be more than happy to use your services again should the need arise and would certainly recommend it to others.
Thank you so much for these kind words which mean so much to all the team.
The whole process at Home Instead was highly professional and the care and compassion offered to both my mum and dad was amazing. Their needs were discussed with the family and considered at all times. Communication was excellent with updates on each visit and any concerns were immediately highlighted with a telephone call. They were able to cover bank holidays and never let us down on a single visit which is invaluable when you do not live nearby. I highly recommend Home Instead as a home carer provider.
Thank you so much for these very kind words which mean a great deal to us.
The care provided al!owed him to be independent for a little longer.
Thank you for your kind words which mean a great deal to all the staff.
My experience was entirely positive. From first contact over the telephone to each subsequent step I felt there was a genuine concern to give quality care for my Dad and me. Details of our personal needs were sought and then catered for, to achieve a truly individual service. Their care added quality to my father's life in his last year. My confidence in their support was well placed, from carers to managers and administrative staff. I would also mention that I came to like the part of the welcome pack that showed you the photographs of the team who might be answering your phone calls. Another humanising touch in their approach.
Thank you for these very kind words which mean an awful lot to all the staff.
Home Instead looked after my bed bound father with professional care and respect. My father was very grateful for all the care he received by such a caring and kind team. They visited daily, making him as comfortable as possible and built a great rapport with him. We are very grateful for everything they did.
Thank you for these very kind words, which mean so much to the team.
Mum’s team of carers were unwavering in their kindness and went above and beyond to overcome challenges and meet her changing needs as the illness progressed.
Home Instead’s collaborative approach with family and the rest of Mum’s support network facilitated excellent communication and consistency with her care.
Although always remaining very professional, Mum came to regard her regular team more as valued friends rather than merely caregivers, thanks to their gentle, calm companionship. We, in turn, had peace of mind that Mum was in safe hands when we could not be with her ourselves.
Thank you, Home Instead.
Thank you so much for these very kind words. It was an honour to be part of Mum's journey and everyone misses her greatly.
All the staff from Home Instead involved with her care were excellent and kind and went out of their way to give that little extra. My wife died on the 17th of February 2023, and two weeks prior to her death, she needed extra special care, which was provided with dignity. Thank you all so very much.
What an absolute honour it was to come alongside you both. Thank you so much for these kind words which mean so much.
The team were compassionate, patient, caring and confident. They coped with Mum's good days and bad, were happy to cover other duties such as cleaning when Mum was out and were always cheerful. The office was always easy to get hold of, and their communications when things went wrong (such as late arrival due to traffic or sickness) were excellent.
Mum was able to live at home for a long time because Home Instead was able to support her family. I will forever be grateful for their efforts. Thank you.
Thank you so much for these lovely words, which mean so much to the team.
My mum was 95 when she sadly passed away 2 months ago. She was very reluctant to have some help from outside to start off with but both mum and dad got used to seeing the lovely carers and they both enjoyed chatting to the carers and they appreciated all the help and support especially with my mum who deteriorated over the last year. Dad was thankful to have lots of help for mum but he’s now getting some help like housework, washing, cooking and food shopping which he really appreciates.
Thank you so much for your kind words. It was an honour to care for Mum and to continue to support your dad going forward. Thank you again.
Home Instead (Tavistock and Tamar Valley) helped to look after my mother over a period of about four months. My family are so grateful for their care. After a fall Mum needed extra care at home. They really cared about Mum and listened to what was important to her and she was not rushed. They regularly went the extra mile. As a nurse, I appreciated that things were done well and the important details all taken care of. They were great at liaising with all the family and listening to all viewpoints. When Mum deteriorated they really helped by increasing care and in ensuring Mum was comfortable and not distressed in end of life. They enabled Mum to stay at home which was so important.
It was an honour to support Mum and all of you on this journey. Thank you so much for the kind words which are so valued by all the team.
My husband and I had excellent care from Home Instead Tavistock - I cannot praise them highly enough. All the staff/carers were extremely kind, helpful and supportive.
Thank you so much for your very kind words. We all miss you both, and it was an honour to support you.
We were so grateful to have the assistance of the staff of Home Instead who made it possible for my father to be cared for at home for as long as possible. They were kind and understanding and listened to our concerns and looked after my father in a very caring and professional manner and made him comfortable and at ease which was difficult for a proud man in these circumstances.
Thank you so much for these very kind words which mean a great deal to all of the team.
My mother lived with us, and we were very happy to welcome the staff of Home Instead into our home. All the management and carers were very professional and efficient and ensured that they earned my mother's confidence - also providing great support for me. They rapidly adapted to changes in my mother's needs as she became more unwell and showed their skill and experience at end of life.
Thank you so much for these kind words, which mean so much to the team. It was an honour to care for your mother and to support you all on this journey.
The small team of carers arrived on time every day, carried out the tasks required as well as any extras that they had time for such as hoovering or putting the washing in the machine.
They were friendly and caring towards Dad and myself which I appreciated as we were going through a difficult time.
Thank you so much for your kind words which mean a great deal to the whole team. Your review helps others on their journey as they look for support.
My mother and family were extremely satisfied with the care Home Instead gave my late father. Home Instead were able to accommodate the specific timings my mother wanted for Dad's care and they always arrived on time.
Thank you so much for these kind words which are so uplifting for the care team. Thank you for taking the time to leave this review which helps others on their care journey.
Home Instead have given me a lot of confidence since being in hospital last year. They are more than helpful when you need help. Communication is great to nothing is to much for them I can't thank them enough for all the care and support they give me.
You have become one of the Home Instead family! We love the laughs and fun but most of all, we are dedicated to providing the very best support and care for you.
I've used Home Instead for my late Father and currently for my Mother. Everyone there is so helpful. The carers were and are so sensitive to my parent's different needs and characters. I live 250 miles away so having a reliable care company has been crucial, especially during Covid lockdowns when I couldn't visit. I strongly recommend the Home Instead team.
It has and is an honour to be on this journey with your family. Covid has brought such unusual pressures and as a combined team we have remained committed to the very best support and care.
Home Instead provide a much needed service for the elderly in need of caregiving help and companionship when it is need. All caregivers are friendly and helpful and caring! I know my mother is having care visits helps me as well as her, as I get peace of mind as I can't be with her every day.
Thank you so much for these kind words which mean a great deal to all the team. Being able to remain at home with some support, we know, is important to both yourself and mum.
Home Instead met all my expectations. Loved the way new caregivers was always introduced to me by a member of office staff. How new caregivers that were coming in shadowed another one to get used to the service user and the home and routine. All caregivers gave their best at all times to me. Felt comfortable at all times to whoever was coming in.
Thank you so much for your kind words which mean so much to all the team.
