Alina Homecare Devizes

Thank you all for the very high standard of care you give to my father. Your service has proven to be very efficient, caring, and supportive of both Dad and me. Communication is very good and nothing is too much trouble. Everyone seems very helpful. I often hear Dad say how nice it is to have such a friendly care team. I shall certainly be recommending Alina Homecare Devizes to friends whose older relatives may need care in the future.

Used Alina care for an elderly client 90 years of age, who after an accident cannot walk. These carers have looked after her from hospital release and very quickly adapted to the lady's needs. They are very efficient and on time for all visits (4 times a day). They correspond with me very well and are always available when anything needs to be relayed to their Devizes office. I am very very happy with their service and would gladly recommend them to anyone who needs care.

My stepson benefits enormously from his regular visits from his carers. The continuity offered by having the same carers regularly is invaluable. A big thank you from my stepson, me and his dad to the carers and the team at Alina Homecare Devizes for all you do for him.

A community team and Alina have worked together perfectly to ensure all my father's needs are met. The unsettling thoughts of the unknown of having carers in his home disappeared on the first visit. The carers are efficient and above all, they do care. My father is happy and that says it all. He is very independent but his health has changed greatly in the last month. The team have made this transition to needing so much more help one of ease and with dignity. He said, “all the team that visit are a delight”. He really enjoys the chats. Thank you.

My Mum became a client of Alina on 12th Feb this year after 7 years with another company. In those 2 weeks, we have found the care staff to be exceptional. They are all kind, caring, professional and efficient. No request is too much trouble and any changes we have asked for have been implemented immediately. Their willingness to arrange for somebody to sit with Mum when she had a fall and needed the 111 service was just amazing. We had not expected or experienced any care like that before. The carers have notified us immediately of any problems or updates on Mum's condition and the Field Care Supervisor comes out to check on a regular basis. There is always a friendly voice at the end of the phone in the office and again, nothing is too much trouble. We are very pleased that we moved Mum to the care of Alina, it has given us peace of mind.

Alina carers provide the best possible care to my aunt and the best possible communication with me as the family member responsible for my aunt. I cannot fault their care, compassion and willingness to help in any way, which gives me, and therefore my family, the greatest confidence in their abilities and the service they provide.

Alina have been brilliant looking after my Mum. They have really supported her on her return from hospital and have gone out of their way to look after her medication ordering and collection. She is housebound so they go and collect her prescriptions and pick up an odd pint of milk when she is getting low between weekly deliveries. They are also very good at forwarding copies of Hospital letters to me so I know what is going on and keeping me up to date with any issues they spot with her health. I have always found their staff to be very friendly and professional and they really seem to care about my Mum's wellbeing. Their manager is always on the ball and happy to take a phone call at any time if I have any concerns. All in all, I am very happy with the help and support that they have provided both to her and to me and I would highly recommend them to anyone else looking for a care provider in Devizes.

In a way they have adopted me. They are helping me live my life.

Only been with the company a short time but the staff has proved they are all competent in their job and know what they are doing and quickly understood my needs. Friendly and very helpful in explaining everything to me. Hopefully a lasting relationship. I trust the staff already and it's only been a few months.

We are very happy with Alina Homecare. The carers are all calm, kind and able to deal with the problems we have. My husband has severe mobility problems as well as dementia and they keep him happy and don't rush him, and seem able to deal with his frustrations with kindness and understanding.

Just a few words - but a very big thank you to all at Alina for helping. My friend has not had any care at home before - so, was very nervous about the whole idea, but from the very start he was put at his ease. First with a visit from the assessor, obviously used to putting people with Dementia at ease, she explained the whole procedure with great care and just the right amount of detail so he easily understood what would happen, she kindly reassured him and treated him and his questions so respectfully. Then the lovely ladies who have helped with the shower etc I wish I could name each one, but computer says no! Each one so prompt, polite and extremely professional - but with a lovely smile, a friendly way with them, a joke or two as they go about their work, they have left the bed made, the bathroom clean and clear and my friend in a very much better, happier frame of mind (never mind as fresh as a daisy) than when they arrive. Your staff are a credit to you and your thorough training.

Good when two regular carers do all week - knowledge of needs very important to me. Helps when weekends are carers who have been before and arrive 10.00-10.30am. The two regulars that I have are very good, know my likes and dislikes and personal needs.

The management are very helpful and courteous and available at all times, should I need any advice.

We are pleased and satisfied with the care that is provided for our 46-year-old son. He has 3 different carers who work for Alina Homecare, he is taken from his home every morning at 0900 to the centre where he spends the day.

The service we have had from Alina in the short time since they took over from our previous provider has been excellent. Our carers are well trained, trustworthy, friendly and always on time. The office staff are friendly and communicating with them is easy. What more can I say? We are very happy.

After a short spell in hospital, and then 3 weeks in bed upstairs recovering from shingles, I was very weak. The carers from Alina motivated and enabled me to return to normal living and my daily routine. They have assisted me with daily personal care for over 7 weeks. On their first visit, I felt able to tackle the stairs after weeks in bed. They have allowed me to regain much of my independence. The carers are much more than just carers, they have become good friends. I look forward to their visit each day. Thank you for all the care and help you have given me.

I have a sister who is 20 years older than me with Dementia and I originally used the previous care provider who was taken over by Alina last year, retaining many of the staff.

I can only say that I have been more than impressed by the level of care from Alina. They are attentive, watchful and their level of communication surpasses all expectations. They keep me well informed and I'm always able to contact someone with any concerns or queries I might have.

My sister really looks forward to their visits and both I and my family are greatly relieved and grateful for their ongoing attentiveness of service.
