We have appreciated the care for my cousin over the last four years and it is doubtful she would have managed in her own home until the ripe old age of 99 years 11 months without Caring Folk Ltd.
My mum had vascular dementia and so was not an easy person to care for. Caring Folk looked after her with care and compassion at all times for over a year, always taking into account her problems. The office staff and management were always available and easy to work with, sometimes under quite trying circumstances. Their communication was always excellent, and the staff quite often went above and beyond to ensure that mum was comfortable and well looked after.
What a fabulous service throughout, the level of care was amazing, so thoughtful and caring towards my mother-in-law also her husband, they supported them both. With dignity and respect, their service went beyond care, they became part of our extended family. Caring Folk enabled her to live the remainder of her life to the best of her ability, knowing she was loved and cared for with every visit which was 4 times a day. The girls brought happiness to the home with their warm outlook on life. Sadly we lost my mother-in-law Caring Folk cared right to the end very noticeable when 3 attended the funeral, such a lovely touch.
I would certainly recommend Caring Folk to anyone seeking care for a loved one, so much so that my mum has recently been diagnosed with Alzheimer's so am using Caring Folk myself.
I would highly recommend Caring Folk. They looked after my mum for 4 years. The care she received was excellent. The whole team is so caring. They went the extra mile. I can't praise them enough.
We were very pleased with the service provided, all the staff were pleasant and helpful, and the managers and admin staff went out of their way to accommodate our needs! Overall we would certainly recommend the company.
In February 2023 my mother after a long spell in hospital was ready for discharge and we wanted to get her back home, we engaged Caring Folk through a social worker and the team from the off exceeded expectations. The level of care that was provided was outstanding with the carers being very engaging and taking the time to get to know and have conversations with my mum about the local area, any issues we were informed and the all-round team were so easy to get on with. After a few months, Mum decided she wanted to go into care as she was becoming lonely in her own home, I actually think having people coming in made her want more company. A big thanks to the team for being there in this important stage of my mum's life and the whole care and office team are a credit to themselves and the industry, I would recommend them to anyone.
In my experience, this company provide outstanding care with kindness, expertise and personal service. I cannot praise them enough. They looked after my dad (and me) so very well. Thanks to them I had peace of mind knowing that he was being cared for. The company were able to adapt to Dad's changing needs as his dementia progressed and this allowed him to die at home with dignity.
My brother and I found ourselves unexpectedly becoming primary carers for our mum several years ago, following the unexpected passing of our dad. Caring Folk was there to support us massively at the beginning and throughout our mum's journey living with dementia to the end, which we wouldn't have been able to do without them. Always with dignity and respect, their service went beyond care, and they became part of our extended family. A company with great integrity, professionalism, care, and love. Everyone at Caring Folk enabled our mum to live the remainder of her life to the best of her ability, knowing that she was loved and cared for with every visit.
They were always professional, kind and caring. I am very grateful for the care given and they never rushed their visits.
My Dad was living on his own in a house that he was 'rattling around' in and suffered from loneliness since my mum died three years ago. Also with dementia, mobility problems and not being able to drive any more, it just became worse. He was fine with the day-to-day things but we needed more for him in terms of company whilst we were working, and also being able to choose to go to places in a car, without him feeling guilty for asking us. This is where Caring Folk helped us. What an amazing bunch of people they are. We initially met the carer, and my Dad really did take to her, so that was a good sign. We agreed that someone would visit three times a week for a few hours at a time and he built a particular bond with her and would look forward to her visits. My Dad recently decided to move to a retirement/extra care apartment but we are so grateful for the help of Caring Folk when we needed them. They'd be top of the list if we need this kind of service in the future. Thank you.
My mother has been cared for and supported by Caring Folk for the past two years. They have always been courteous, friendly and mindful of Mum's needs. Sometimes she needed a little stronger encouragement to go about her daily life with limited mobility, but Caring Folk always gave her that encouragement with a smile and good humour. Their professionalism and kindness was always to the fore and we will be forever indebted for the care they have given my mother for the the past two years.
Excellent care at all times. Staff were very professional and friendly and above all caring. They looked after my mum with dignity and care. Always did their visits, and all were noted in the care plan book. Well done, Caring Folk.
Such a wonderful, caring, devoted team of carers, my dad (and myself) would have really struggled without the support of the team, they were fantastic. As a care company, communication and reliability are excellent, and they (all) went above and beyond for us. Thank you.
We found that Caring Folk were extremely accommodating to changes required and additional care needs which naturally occur. Can’t thank them enough.
From starting the contract of care with Caring Folk, I can honestly say this company go above and beyond for all their clients. Their staff are efficient, on time, friendly and met my husband's care needs with dignity, respect and humour. The company is well managed and the staff are one of their best assets. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company, unlike the one we used prior to moving to Caring Folk.
Caring Folk cared for my husband through the last years of his life, suffering with Alzheimer's and being bedbound for three years.
Mum had the carers from Caring Folk for nearly three years. They all cared, helped and supported her needs as she aged, to enable her to live in her own home, as was her wish. They gave her interaction and conversation, which for her was just as important as the help needed. A very big thank you for all everyone gave her.
Excellent service provided by all carers. Each member of the team we had provided excellent care, very friendly and helped my husband who has dementia in a very professional manner. I would certainly recommend them to anyone seeking care for a loved one.
The carers for my husband took the time to listen to me and ensure my wellbeing during what could often be a difficult time owing to my husband's condition and declining health, towards the end of his life. They were caring and respectful and carried out their duties in a friendly manner ensuring we both had dignity and felt involved and listened to in regard to all aspects of care.
Fantastic service provided by Caring Folk Pudsey. Management and staff always went above and beyond our expectations at an extremely difficult time, ensuring our relative was treated with dignity and respect. Would highly recommend.
