1st Homecare (Kings Langley)

My hearing and mobility are somewhat impaired but the carers make allowances. The times which they come are irregular and sometimes they find it hard to say when they will be coming the next day. They are always polite. On the whole, I am satisfied with the service. I find it a little expensive and dealing with Hertfordshire Councty Council on the phone is very frustrating.

Very satisfied with care. Carers are punctual and pleasant, like friends. I could not stay in my home without them - I am very grateful.

I am very pleased and happy with the help I have received from 1st Homecare. They are always ready to help and greet you with a smile and kind words, they always ask if you need anything else. If I do or did need anything else, I would not be afraid to say so, they are so easy to talk to. I feel so safe knowing I have them at my side, you could not ask for more.

The ladies are all lovely, efficient and treat my husband with dignity and respect.

We have been using 1st Homecare for several years, our carers have been wonderful and consistent. Our changing needs have been well supported with help from one member of staff with occupational health. We have full confidence and trust in the care we receive.

My husband's carers are great. This has been a recent experience for us and we were not sure what to expect but my husband is happy with his personal care and chatting to others. His dignity is respected and all his needs are catered for. This makes me happy and I also benefit from help given to me with light housework etc.

I have had help from 1st Homecare for some time. My husband had care from them, a first like me, he was very grateful and happy to have such kind staff. He and I were very pleased as I am now to have their assistance. My husband died, 10 years ago, but the kindness is still as good as it was then.

Very good care firstly for my wife over two and a half years, then for myself over four years and counting.

After having a bilateral hip replacement, a friend recommended. I had some care for a few weeks to aid my recovery... finding 1st Homecare online, my daughter called them and arranged a prompt visit the day after I came home. A package was set up immediately for my requirements. I used their service for three weeks. The carer always arrived on time being kind, caring - helping me to shower and dress in the morning. I highly recommend them!

I receive excellent service from my individual carers and also on any occasion I have needed the office.
