To sum up I am very well looked after. I have no personal experience of the staff and management (they are in Warsaw!) but they seem to be very well organised.
Promedica were very kind and caring and considerate in finding appropriate carers for us. Their attention to detail was faultless and we would not hesitate to recommend the company. We were able to contact the company 24/7 which was reassuring.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us such thoughtful feedback, and for your kind words. We truly appreciate the trust you placed in us and are so pleased that you and your family felt supported and reassured throughout.
- Care worker taking cigarettes breaks outside the home at inappropriate times.
- You get zero say in who the care worker is.
- Care workers ignored my mum on occasions while she was begging for help. This continued to happen even after I reported it.
- Issues around the conduct of care workers respecting property. For example one care worker caused damage and didn't report it. I only happened to find out about it afterwards.
- Care Managers don't bother picking up the phone to contact you if there's a problem, therefore causing problems to fester or be misunderstood.
- Care workers generally appear glum.
- Care workers not having experience of my mum's equipment.
- Care workers not having adequate dementia experience.
- Very poor management of changeovers.
I'm sorry to hear about your experience with our services. Following a thorough review, I understand that you have been in contact with our care team to address several concerns, but unfortunately, our proposed solutions did not meet your expectations. Given this we regretfully had no option but to...
She's a very easy person to have around the home and fits in with everyone around and most importantly is always flexible. We just can't recommend her highly enough.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a lovely review. We take the time to ensure that the carers we hire are aligned with our company values and genuinely exhibit a caring nature. We are so proud that you, your mum and your sister are happy with the carer and we wish you and your family all the best.
The Carers provided have been of a high professional standard, friendly and cheerful and efficient in dealing with any difficult situations. They have had a calming influence on my parents.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write this lovely review. We are proud that you are happy with our service and wish you and your family all the best.
We turned to Promedica24 when my father couldn't manage at home on his own anymore due to dementia and mobility issues. The manager talked us through the whole process and assessed dads needs. As with many people, dad didn't want 'strangers in his house' but when the carer came into his life with kindness, encouragement, laughter and cooking skills, his attitude changed. He was happy with the banter between them and he missed her on her breaks back home. She became his regular carer until he sadly passed away in March 2025. Thanks to the dedication of the manager, who was always at the end of the phone as well as her visits and the support of the carer, dads last year was spent in his own home enjoying his garden, trips out and his visitors. This was so important to him and to us as a family. We would recommend Promedica24 to family and friends.
Firstly, please accept our deepest sympathies on the passing of your father. We send our condolences to you and your family. Secondly, thank you for taking the time to write this lovely review and share your experience with us. We are proud to have been able to support your father to remain in...
The interview with me was relaxed and wih 2 different personnel to find exactly my needs 24/7. Very good outcome for myself and carer really patient and understanding with my wife who has dementia.
So far a very good result with an experienced handler able to suggest ways to make life easier.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write this lovely review and sharing your experience. Our Care Assessments are extensive and include holistic aspects of the individual's likes, dislikes, routines, and preferences that take into consideration the whole person and not just their personal...
My parents have used Promedica for almost 3 years and when 18 months ago their needs became greater and we moved to having 2 live in carers. In February my mother passed away. The 2 carers were exceptional in how they cared for my mother, my father and us during those last few hours. The carer who later stayed to be with my father has been empathetic and understanding of his grief and needs. This gave the extended family such peace of mind as we do not live close by. We could not be more grateful for her care and compassion.
Firstly please accept our heartfelt condolences on the passing of your mother. We are very sorry for your family's loss. Secondly, thank you so much for taking the time to write such a lovely review. We pride ourselves on our carers who genuinely care about the people we support. Compassion and...
You have no say in the choice of carer, details of new carers are sent at very short notice and the profiles don't really give useful information. Several of the carers sent over a period of 3 months were inexperienced and didn't have the skills to look after my mother who has dementia. I always asked for carers who could speak good English so that my mom could hear them clearly. This request wasn't met, my mom often couldn't understand what was being said to her, so she became frustrated and communication was very difficult. Communication between the carers and their managers and the managers and me was poor and I didn't feel involved in my mom's care. I couldn't recommend Promedica.
Thank you for your feedback. Our records show that we have been supporting your mother since 2023. The care package started with one care worker which you were satisfied with and we received no complaints from you. In 2024 your mother's care package was reassessed and it was concluded that a second...
Promedica24’s Care Manager is exceptional (deserves 5+ stars). Handles all issues calmly, professionally and always with Mum’s best interests at heart. I literally couldn’t manage without her. The 4 stars is only because some carers pose challenges. But this will always happen. It’s how Promedical24 handles the issues/challenges that matter - and they have done this very well to date.
Thank you so much for your kind words and recognition of our Care Manager's exceptional service! We're thrilled to hear that they've consistently handled everything with professionalism and your mother's best interests at heart. While we understand that challenges with carers can arise, we're...
We have been using Promedica24 for the past couple of years and overall, the service we have received has been of a high standard. In particular, one specific carer has been exceptional, quickly establishing rapport with my mother and as a result, gaining my mother's trust. I am very pleased with the service being delivered.
Thank you for your kind words and positive feedback regarding our services. We greatly appreciate your recognition of our efforts and are delighted to hear about the exceptional care provided by our carer. It is our commitment to continue delivering high-quality service and maintaining the trust you have placed in us.
We needed 24-hour care for my dad after a hip replacement. Having had 24/7 care for weeks in hospital we wanted him to be helped back to independence after returning from hospital. A friend recommended Promedica who were professional from our first contact. We had two visits from the management team to meet and find out about my dad, his interests/beliefs etc and his physical and recovery needs. The carer arrived (and left!) promptly, as arranged and between times looked after my dad and house perfectly, encouraging him day on day to push himself a little more, doing more himself re his personal care, making a drink, dressing and by the time our contract ended, Dad was indeed back to pretty much where he had been before his fall. Behind the scenes, the admin and contract work, billing etc was timely and professional and we were kept fully informed. Promedica will be my first port of call if we need this type of care for my dad in future. Thank you so much.
Thank you for sharing your experience with Promedica24 live-in care services for your dad's post-hip replacement recovery. It's wonderful to hear that our team was able to provide professional, prompt, and personalised care, helping your dad regain his independence and reach a level of...
I am happy with the communication and prompt attention we get from Promedica on all administrative matters too, they are very efficient. But the main priority is of course having the right carer look after your family member and I feel Promedica have done a good job of assessing my father's needs and making an appropriate placement. We just wish the carer could have stayed longer!
Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We're truly touched to hear about the exceptional care your father received from our carer. Providing compassionate support is at the heart of what we do at Promedica24. We understand the importance of continuity in care and strive to make meaningful placements. Thank you for choosing Promedica24.
Promedica24 have cared for our mother, now in her nineties, in her own home for the past three years. It has been a lifeline for our mum, who has dementia, enabling her to have the very best care and stay in familiar surroundings. We are so grateful for the amazing service we have had from carers who have all been outstanding, and so incredibly patient and kind. They became almost a part of our family. Not only did they always anticipate our mother's needs and preferences, but they also cooked delicious and healthy meals for her, read and sang with her, and took her for daily walks when she was still mobile. Alas her mobility has now declined so that she needs the facilities of a care home, but the years with ProMedica have been a peaceful and happy chapter in her later life. The management side were always helpful and sympathetic when we had any questions or needed advice. We would not hesitate to recommend this company.
Thank you for entrusting us with the care of your mother. We are thrilled to hear that our carers have exceeded your expectations with their outstanding service, patience, and kindness. It warms our hearts to know that they have become an integral part of your family. Anticipating your mother's...
Promedica24 enabled our dad to remain at home in his last days, which was his strong preference. When we first contacted Promedica, they immediately provided very full and helpful information. Most important of all, all four carers who looked after our dad were very caring and great communicators.
Thank you for taking the time to write your review. It's lovely to hear that Promedica24 allowed your dad to stay at home, his preferred place, during his last days. It's also wonderful to hear that all four carers were caring and great communicators, making a positive impact on your dad's care.
The quality of care, support and professionalism I’ve received from Promedica24 have been exemplary and I would have no hesitation in recommending them. I was particularly blessed by my carer who fitted in splendidly and whose kindness and attention to detail in following the clinicians instructions was superb and aided my post operative recuperation.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are thrilled to learn that your carer provided you with exceptional care and was able to support you during your recovery, and that you received exemplary support and professionalism from the team.
We cannot thank Promedica enough. We worked very hard to keep my mother with motor neurone disease at home until the end of her life. A previous care company had also tried extremely hard to meet Mum's needs, but within 18 months we had been through 33 live-in carers (2:1 package), and this had been distressing and frustrating for everyone involved. Promedica helped us put together a very bespoke 3:1 live-in care package which enabled us to support Mum successfully at home to the end of her life, and we can’t thank the wonderful and very professional carers enough. Our very sincere thanks also goes to all of them, without whom the package would not have been possible. This includes their team leader and customer services support who were absolutely key to ensuring the package we built was robust enough to support Mum and the complexities of her care. A huge thank you to everyone - the support provided by Promedica has been excellent.
Thank you for sharing your story with us. It's great to hear that Promedica24 was able to provide a bespoke 3:1 live-in care package that met your mother's needs and enabled her to stay at home until the end of her life. It's also wonderful to hear that the carers were very professional and that...
Staff provided excellent managerial support to the carers, my mother and ourselves. Some of the carers who had worked with other agencies said that they have never been so well supported before in their care work. It was clear that this made a huge difference to the morale and confidence of the carers.
We cannot thank ProMedica24 enough!
Firstly, please accept our deepest sympathies for the loss of your mother. Secondly, thank you so much for taking the time to share such a lovely review. We are glad to have been able to support your family when you needed us. Our carers truly are the heart of everything we do and we work...
The whole process from start to finish was open and professional and the promises made were kept. Our area manager has been thorough, easy to get hold of and quick to respond. I was reassured that they are CQC-regulated and the regional partner was very patient with all my queries! Dad is well looked after and has enjoyed learning Polish recipes. I would not hesitate to recommend!
Firstly, please accept our sincere condolences for the sad loss of your mother and sister, we are very sorry for the grief your family must be experiencing. Secondly, thank you so much for taking the time to write such a lovely review. We are glad we are able to support your father in his recovery...
I had promised my father before he died that I would look after my mother and keep her at home as long as I could. I had a company come in to look after her on a live contract. They were ok. However, Promedica 24 were recommended to me and I will always be great full to them as the care my mother has received has been everything that my father and I could have wished for. The girls have not only looked after my mother but the house has been looked after and always clean. Any questions I have had have been dealt with by the Regional Partner straight away and I could not ask for better service. On the care side I have the area manager who sorted out anything I asked of her. She is absolutely fantastic at what she does and a wonderful girl with it. I can only say that what has been the most difficult time in my life watching my mother who has dementia changing with time being looked after so well has helped me to cope with it. Thank you so much to Promedica 24.
Thank you for your lovely review. We are honoured that we were able to care for your mother and play our part in keeping your promise to your father. Sending best wishes to you and your family from all of the Promedica24 Team.

I started working in care over 15 years ago. My son was two and a half at the time and I needed a job that would fit around being his mum.
I started as a Care Support Worker and quickly found that I really enjoyed being part of a care team. Hearing people's stories, and being able to be a small part in ensuring they still knew they were valued and that they still had a lot to offer this world gave me a sense of knowing that this was the career path for me.
I worked as a Carer, Admin Support, Trainer, Locality Manager, Client Relationship Manager, and Care Manager and after completing my level 5, I have now moved up into the Registered Manager Role.
I hope to lead with a servant's heart and enable my team to achieve their goals. Care is where my heart lies, and being able to be a part of a fantastic care company in a leadership role is a challenge I am looking forward to, and one where I will give my very best. I will uphold our values, and work hard with my colleagues to ensure we deliver the best possible person-centred care.
I choose to work in the care sector because I meet lots of amazing people all the time, from the people we support to other like-minded colleagues who genuinely care.
Working for Promedica24 has given me the opportunity to really make a difference to people who prefer to stay in their own homes, at a time in their lives when they feel a little more vulnerable.
I choose to work in the care sector because I know I am making a positive difference every day.
I have worked in care for the last 28 years in the community and residential care with elderly and special needs children. I personally feel it is the best job as I get to help people either to learn and develop or to remain in their homes safely and well. Developing relationships with them learning about their past and their wishes, likes and dislikes to meet their needs.
I have met people who worked with Laural and Hardy, and a dancer who was with the Russian ballet. You never know what people have done till get to know them and ask which I feel is what makes the work so interesting.
I have been with Promedica24 for 5 years and I enjoy that every day is completely different, I work with a fantastic team and we all work together to promote the outcomes of the people who use our service.
I have worked in the care industry in a variety of settings and positions since 2004, joining Promedica24 in 2023 as a Care Manager. I am passionate about quality care and advocating for people using the service. I love working with a company that shares my passion and values.
Lorraine is Level 5 Qualified and has a passion for delivering person-centred care.
She also enjoys supporting training and loves to help others, taking great pride in her job.
A common theme throughout my career is my desire to help and support others. Whether through my community fundraising initiatives with local charities such as Dementia Forward or through raising key issues with decision makers in health and social care – I am passionate about ensuring the people of Lancashire and North Yorkshire can live independently and well in the comfort of their own homes.
In my spare time I enjoy playing golf, walking in the countryside with Gill and our dogs, and watching my favourite football team, Manchester United – though that's not been too enjoyable in recent times!
I am convinced supporting people to remain in the home they love is the best environment for people who find themselves needing support. As life chips away at our capabilities, we will all need some level of support. This varies greatly from preparing meals, providing a means for people to remain active in their communities to helping couples remain together. The relationships I have witnessed and the changes we have enabled show me that we are making a positive impact in people’s lives every day.
In my spare time, I act as a non-paid driver for my daughter ferrying her to various clubs, and I occasionally get out for a bike ride with friends. With two cats, a dog, a hamster, fish, and frogs, there is always something to do. Walking our dog Thor keeps me fit whatever the weather and I’m fortunate to live in a lovely area with the beach and forest not far away.
I am also a Dementia Friend with the Alzheimer’s Society, raising awareness and understanding of what it’s like living with the condition in my community.
Hello, I’m John – your Regional Partner for Chester, Cheshire, and North Wales. I launched the Promedica24 Cheshire branch just over five years ago to provide the communities I serve with a genuine alternative to residential care. I’m proud to say my live-in care branch is known amongst the Cheshire community as the go-to provider in the area.
Caring for people is part of my family heritage. My parents both worked in the NHS, my sister still does, and my children aspire to be dietitians and physiotherapists. As a teenager, I saw how hard it was for my parents to juggle their busy jobs whilst raising a young family and caring for my grandparents. I know what this pressure looks and feels like for people now.
Today, what my parents want from professional care in later life has radically altered. They wish to remain at home. To stay in familiar surroundings, with family and friends able to visit at any time. To keep their pets, their possessions, and routines. To live their own lives and have their own choices. I very much welcome a chat with you to see how we can improve you and your loved one's life if professional care is required.
In my spare time, you’ll find me in my garden or on a tennis court (I’m quite competitive). Maybe reading a history book - if I get any peace and quiet with teenage children around – which isn’t often!
Hello, I’m Jonathan – your Regional Partner for Wirral. I launched the Promedica24 branch in 2016 after identifying a real need for alternatives to residential care in the area. I was born in Clatterbridge and grew up in West Kirby before going to the University of Leeds to read Russian and Czech. I spent over 20 years in the IT and telecommunications sector, working across the UK and Europe meeting people from many different nationalities and cultures. I’m now married and live in Heswall with my family.
I am part of the Dementia Friends initiative, participating in Dementia Services Showcase events in addition to being a key speaker at Later Life Seminars with AgeUK Wirral. I look forward to working with you and seeing how we can best support you to live independently in the comfort of your own home.
As a keen fan of the outdoors, I was an active member and volunteer at Neston Cricket club for over 10 years and I’m now a volunteer and participant at both West Kirby and Dee Sailing Clubs where I sail with my children. In Wirral, we are fortunate to have an abundance of wonderful outdoor spaces on our doorstep and I hope people of all ages can continue to enjoy them for a long time to come.
Hello, I’m Rishard – your Regional Partner for Berkshire and South Buckinghamshire. I was born in South Africa and launched the Promedica24 Berkshire and South Buckinghamshire branch six years ago. Before this, I was a teacher and Head of Department for Speech, Drama and English Literature students in South Africa, New Zealand and the UK for more than 30 years. I hold a CELTA qualification and can teach English as a second language. I have also been a professional actor on stage and in the film both in South Africa and England, having appeared in numerous productions.
Running my live-in care branch has allowed me to use my life to benefit the lives of others. I especially feel a deep sense of gratitude when you assist a person who has spent months in a hospital bed, to finally be in their own home, to see the smile on their face as they settle into their favourite seat. I look forward to being of service to you, making your life more comfortable, and getting you home.
I’m an avid aviation enthusiast, photographer and videographer. I also have a love for travel and cooking.
Hello, I’m Tibor – your Regional Partner for North & West Surrey. As one of the very first franchise partners in the UK, I have been running my live-in care branch in Surrey since April 2014. Back in my home country, Hungary, I worked in PR and sales, before moving into the care industry and working as a carer for two years. Fast forward eight years, and I have helped hundreds of families across Surrey find the support they need.
I am passionate about making a difference in my community, and my role as Regional Partner is to ensure people have access to the support they need to live their lives. Whether your loved one requires help around the home, or you are finding everyday tasks just that little bit more challenging, we are here to provide you with the best possible care to live your life independently in the comfort of your own home.
For almost two years, before Covid, I supported the local community as a volunteer driver, taking vulnerable people to GP and hospital appointments. I have also been helping a local family with two disabled children for several years as a translator and interpreter to keep in touch with social services and healthcare professionals.
Hello, I’m Chris – your Regional Partner for West Sussex. I launched my Promedica24 branch in 2017 and for over five years have enabled people to live independently and well in the comfort of their own homes. Before this, I held several senior management positions and directorships, leading business development and sales teams within the media industry.
I strive to ensure the residents of West Sussex can access a genuine alternative to residential care. I’m motivated by a personal commitment that everyone should have the choice and ability to access high-quality care at home. Whether short, long-term, respite, or urgent care is required, the Promedica24 care team and I are on hand to provide the highest quality support for you or a loved one.
In my spare time, I enjoy gardening and attending auctions. I also play golf and cycle around the beautiful villages of West Sussex.
