As a family we realised for her to return home and be safe, Nan needed a trustworthy, full time live in carer to support with the physical and mental demands of the home, provide peace of mind and company.
After a thorough search, Promedica24 stood out, both in the proposed level of care and customer support.
The day Nan moved back home, she was met by myself, her new carer and the Promedica24 Care Manager. The carer was extremely well presented with excellent communication skills and demonstrated extreme patience and a caring nature towards Nan. This continued throughout the whole period of which she lived with and cared for my Nan.
I can not thank Promedica24 enough for their level of service, promptness and a carer who surpassed our expectations.

The 4 children of the cared for lady, want to express our deep gratitude to your company for everything you did for our Mum. She had an extended life to almost 101 and a half, as a result of your wonderful live-in carers, every one of them. They cared for her and really "Cared". My mother's health needs were increasing and we needed live-in care. There was a lack of local care companies specialising in this sort of care. We found Promedica24, contacted the manager to discuss our needs.
A single, live in carer started in Nov 2018, providing personal care, feeding and medication. Mum's health continued to decline, we needed night cover as well. A second carer joined in February, providing the round the clock intensive care and support Mum needed.
Local management and the live-in care workers were excellent. Calls and queries were dealt with quickly. Regular visits and supervisions were conducted and communicated by the care managers. The carers provided updates and reassurance in a difficult time. The team also supported us. As family members with emotional ties, this was extremely important. We also ensured the carer’s felt valued.
The atmosphere was kind and caring which Mum could pick up on. This is what caring is about.

My family can't thank Promedica24 enough for the professional care and support they gave us while caring for mum for the last 11 months. All the carers we had in this time cared for mum extremely well with dignity, they became one of the family.
Our carer over the last couple of months has been fantastic. Very dedicated, always smiling and well liked by my mother and my Aunt. Her time here ends today, but we would love to have her back sometime.
I needed post-operative care and a carer came for almost 3 weeks. She has been absolutely fantastic. I could not have anyone better and we are good friends.

She has not felt so secure and happy for many years. Her carers are friendly and treat her with dignity and respect. They are able to represent her with concerns and contact any professional support as and when needed. The head office contact is friendly and courteous.
Promedica24 have been providing live-in care for my mum, for the last couple of months and I cannot fault the care she has been given.
The process of setting up her care was flawless and we were well informed during every step, and we continue to be supported and kept up to date. We have used a number of different care providers over the years and none have come close to Promedica24.
The carers are dedicated, caring and professional and listen to the needs of my Mum. They make her feel comfortable and safe in her own home, whilst also giving her that bit of extra freedom to help take her out of the house and she is always treated with dignity.

Following my father’s death, we were in need of finding an agency to provide live-in care for my 84-year-old mother. After meeting with several agencies it was clear to me that Promedica 24 were offering the best service both in terms of compassionate care and financially. The Manager very quickly came alongside the family and seemed to understand the situation in a heartfelt yet professional way.
The care manager has been excellent at responding to the needs of my mother and always seems to have time to listen to any problems that arise.

My 88-year-old mum is registered disabled and severely partially sighted. She had carer’s coming in to visit her during the day starting at one visit and then progressing to four times a day. After a bad fall, it was agreed with the medical professionals that she was not safe to be left alone at night. The care agency agreed that mum required more care and put us in touch with Promedica 24. From the first conversation, we were reassured that this was the way forward. They worked quickly and the carer arrived. From the first meeting with her, we knew she was going to be perfect. She proved to be extremely hard working and completely dedicated to my mother’s needs and wellbeing. Mum became much happier and was given reassurance that should she need assistance in any way, during the day or night, somebody was there for her. She started to sleep better as I did too. Many thanks to all at Promedica, who we would not hesitate to recommend to anyone requiring live in care for a loved one.

Thanks so much for your kind wishes! My dad's brothers keep telling me that I've done an amazing job to have supported my dad in keeping him at home to be cared for. It's too easy an option for families to use a care home but we are proof that it does and can work being cared for in your own home......4 years my dad had after his stroke. It was only this last year that he became bed bound. He was well looked after and his carer from day one has been truly amazing. My dad saw her as his own daughter. I would often walk in and the two of them would be sat down watching an old black and white film together, smiles on their faces. It takes a special kind of person to be a live-in carer and she was fantastic.

I wanted to write to say thank you so much for all your help in scheduling all the arrangements and your patience and understanding regarding my mother-in-law's continued care.
My husband and I have, overall, found the caregivers to be very good and competent in their roles. They have all been so good, graciously understanding and delightful to work with, even if my mother-in-law didn’t always appreciate their efforts!

Was recommended to try out Promedica24 Live In Care services via a referral.
The issues we were having was -
* live in Care Support provided - was only 5 days per week
* leaving 2 days unsupported
* ended in the late evening - no overnight cover
All the staff, so far, have been highly courteous and very professional dealing with our situation.
Best decision we ever made using Promedica24.

Promedica's commitment to my neighbour's care for the past 6 months has been outstanding. There has been a willingness to understand her needs as an individual and a sensitivity to the way these are changing as the months go by. The review meetings have been very good and my neighbour has been listened to and has felt encouraged. The carers have been kind and diligent and have a genuine concern for her wellbeing.
The whole family have been very happy with the standard of care and commitment shown by the most recent carers. We are so happy with the latest situation that we have asked for them to stay as long as possible. So far it has been a very good experience dealing with Promedica. Long may it continue.

We have used the Service of Promedica24 since July 2018 and have been very impressed with the professionalism, care and dedication of the carers. My dad has the benefit of being in the familiar surroundings of his own home and as his daughter living away, I have the peace of mind knowing that he is safe and happy.
Additionally, the management back up has been extremely supportive and well organised. I would have no hesitation to recommend Promedica24.
We have previously had domiciliary care and then live in care provided by a local franchise care agency. Although two of the carers were good, the remaining 90% lacked skills either in cooking, professionalism or the ability to follow the care plan. We approached Promedica24 with a long wish list and they have done a wonderful job of finding staff who fit the bill. The first carer sent by Promedica24 was fantastic, she has been such a positive influence and fits in like a member of the family. The most recent carer is also a great match for our needs. The regional representative and all office staff have been courteous and accommodating, which is the polar opposite of our experience with the original company. My only regret is not switching sooner. Thank you Promedica24 for everything you have done for my family.

Meet the Team (17)
Grzegorz has gone from strength to strength within the Promdica24 family. Initially joining the company as Finance Manager he has progressed to being appointed Country Manager in 2022.
In his position he wishes to keep the business growth within the UK, upholding our mission as live-in care specialists of championing the choice for all of our service users.
Joining the company over 9 years ago Katarzyna has shown her passion for the person-centred care we deliver being responsible for overseeing the operations and the workflow between the UK and Polish teams.
In May 2022 Katarzyna passed her DBA and is focused on researching and developing approaches that can strengthen the best outcomes for people who are at the centre of our services.
Tina has worked in care for 42 years – 2 years as a volunteer from 16 – 18 in a home for people with disabilities and then 40 years in care in various roles.
Working across hospitals, complex care, training roles, care manager roles and a Regional Manager role for 10 years.
Tina was also a long-term foster carer, for over 20 years, providing care and compassion to over 30 children in that time.
Tina prides herself on providing good quality care, with compassion and empathy for the people we provide a service to and treating others as we would wish to be treated.
I started working in care over 15 years ago. My son was two and a half at the time and I needed a job that would fit around being his mum.
I started as a Care Support Worker and quickly found that I really enjoyed being part of a care team. Hearing people's stories, and being able to be a small part in ensuring they still knew they were valued and that they still had a lot to offer this world gave me a sense of knowing that this was the career path for me.
I worked as a Carer, Admin Support, Trainer, Locality Manager, Client Relationship Manager, and Care Manager and after completing my level 5, I have now moved up into the Registered Manager Role.
I hope to lead with a servant's heart and enable my team to achieve their goals. Care is where my heart lies, and being able to be a part of a fantastic care company in a leadership role is a challenge I am looking forward to, and one where I will give my very best. I will uphold our values, and work hard with my colleagues to ensure we deliver the best possible person-centred care.
I choose to work in the care sector because I meet lots of amazing people all the time, from the people we support to other like-minded colleagues who genuinely care.
Working for Promedica24 has given me the opportunity to really make a difference to people who prefer to stay in their own homes, at a time in their lives when they feel a little more vulnerable.

I have worked in care for the last 28 years in the community and residential care with elderly and special needs children. I personally feel it is the best job as I get to help people either to learn and develop or to remain in their homes safely and well. Developing relationships with them learning about their past and their wishes, likes and dislikes to meet their needs.
I have met people who worked with Laural and Hardy, and a dancer who was with the Russian ballet. You never know what people have done till get to know them and ask which I feel is what makes the work so interesting.
I have been with Promedica24 for 5 years and I enjoy that every day is completely different, I work with a fantastic team and we all work together to promote the outcomes of the people who use our service.
I have worked in the care industry in a variety of settings and positions since 2004, joining Promedica24 in 2023 as a Care Manager. I am passionate about quality care and advocating for people using the service. I love working with a company that shares my passion and values.
Lorraine is Level 5 Qualified and has a passion for delivering person-centred care.
She also enjoys supporting training and loves to help others, taking great pride in her job.
A common theme throughout my career is my desire to help and support others. Whether through my community fundraising initiatives with local charities such as Dementia Forward or through raising key issues with decision makers in health and social care – I am passionate about ensuring the people of Lancashire and North Yorkshire can live independently and well in the comfort of their own homes.
In my spare time I enjoy playing golf, walking in the countryside with Gill and our dogs, and watching my favourite football team, Manchester United – though that's not been too enjoyable in recent times!
I am convinced supporting people to remain in the home they love is the best environment for people who find themselves needing support. As life chips away at our capabilities, we will all need some level of support. This varies greatly from preparing meals, providing a means for people to remain active in their communities to helping couples remain together. The relationships I have witnessed and the changes we have enabled show me that we are making a positive impact in people’s lives every day.
In my spare time, I act as a non-paid driver for my daughter ferrying her to various clubs, and I occasionally get out for a bike ride with friends. With two cats, a dog, a hamster, fish, and frogs, there is always something to do. Walking our dog Thor keeps me fit whatever the weather and I’m fortunate to live in a lovely area with the beach and forest not far away.
I am also a Dementia Friend with the Alzheimer’s Society, raising awareness and understanding of what it’s like living with the condition in my community.
Hello, I’m John – your Regional Partner for Chester, Cheshire, and North Wales. I launched the Promedica24 Cheshire branch just over five years ago to provide the communities I serve with a genuine alternative to residential care. I’m proud to say my live-in care branch is known amongst the Cheshire community as the go-to provider in the area.
Caring for people is part of my family heritage. My parents both worked in the NHS, my sister still does, and my children aspire to be dietitians and physiotherapists. As a teenager, I saw how hard it was for my parents to juggle their busy jobs whilst raising a young family and caring for my grandparents. I know what this pressure looks and feels like for people now.
Today, what my parents want from professional care in later life has radically altered. They wish to remain at home. To stay in familiar surroundings, with family and friends able to visit at any time. To keep their pets, their possessions, and routines. To live their own lives and have their own choices. Hello, I’m Jonathan – your Regional Partner for Wirral. I launched the Promedica24 branch in 2016 after identifying a real need for alternatives to residential care in the area. I was born in Clatterbridge and grew up in West Kirby before going to the University of Leeds to read Russian and Czech. I spent over 20 years in the IT and telecommunications sector, working across the UK and Europe meeting people from many different nationalities and cultures. I’m now married and live in Heswall with my family.
I am part of the Dementia Friends initiative, participating in Dementia Services Showcase events in addition to being a key speaker at Later Life Seminars with AgeUK Wirral. I look forward to working with you and seeing how we can best support you to live independently in the comfort of your own home.
As a keen fan of the outdoors, I was an active member and volunteer at Neston Cricket club for over 10 years and I’m now a volunteer and participant at both West Kirby and Dee Sailing Clubs where I sail with my children. In Wirral, we are fortunate to have an abundance of wonderful outdoor spaces on our doorstep and I hope people of all ages can continue to enjoy them for a long time to come.
Hello, I’m Rishard – your Regional Partner for Berkshire and South Buckinghamshire. I was born in South Africa and launched the Promedica24 Berkshire and South Buckinghamshire branch six years ago. Before this, I was a teacher and Head of Department for Speech, Drama and English Literature students in South Africa, New Zealand and the UK for more than 30 years. I hold a CELTA qualification and can teach English as a second language. I have also been a professional actor on stage and in the film both in South Africa and England, having appeared in numerous productions.
Running my live-in care branch has allowed me to use my life to benefit the lives of others. Before this, I held several senior management positions and directorships, leading business development and sales teams within the media industry.
I strive to ensure the residents of West Sussex can access a genuine alternative to residential care. I’m motivated by a personal commitment that everyone should have the choice and ability to access high-quality care at home.
