The first carer mum had turned that new space into a home and settled mum into a regular routine. Mum now has her second carer and she is absolutely amazing. We feel so secure in knowing that mum is very safe in her care. She truly has mum’s best interests at heart and looks after every single detail when we are not there to assist. Mum thinks the world of her, and whilst it has not been an easy journey over the past year, she has made the situation a lot more satisfying for mum. She is an exemplary carer and we feel truly blessed to have such a lovely person looking after mum.
Daughter March 2020
Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts regarding our service. We always enjoy visiting and are so please everyone is happy. Best Wishes Mark and the Team.
I had a meeting with the Regional Partner who was very helpful and understanding of the help my friend needed.
A care package was quickly and easily put in place and since then I have had no problems.
My friends live-in carer is extremely caring and looks after him really well, she has given him a new lease of life, he enjoys her company because she takes time to interact with him, and they have a nice rapport. When she has her breaks Promedica24 is extremely efficient with the arrival and handover to the relief carer and I’m always fully informed of dates and times. I highly recommend Promedica24.
Kind Regards
I was particularly impressed by the mutual respect and genuine friendship which developed and the selfless way in which our carer carried out his duties. He was perceptive and knowledgeable in handling any issues, both relatives and friends were confident that our friend was in good hands. Inevitably the frailty of old age took its toll, and we are all extremely grateful to Promedica24 for providing a carer of such outstanding quality at such an important time.
Thank you for your kind words, it was always a pleasure to visit and great to know we improved the quality of someone's life. Kind regards, Mark and Team.
I had an extremely kind and caring Polish girl looking after me for a week before my hip replacement operation and for four weeks afterwards. She was incredibly helpful, drove me to family and friends’ houses, did my shopping and we often went out together for pub lunches. She was very easy to live with and very attentive and kept me company even when doing the wretched exercises three times a day! I felt thoroughly spoilt and I will miss her company enormously when she leaves on Tuesday. We found a Polish shop in Chichester so she cooked some Polish meals as well as all other meals. There is also a Polish service in our Catholic Church which she went to on some Sundays. Washing and ironing were done very consistently and the house has never been cleaner. I would thoroughly recommend this agency. It is extremely well run, friendly and they found me my carer within a week. During the first week, a representative from Promedica visited to check both I and my carer were happy.
Thanks so much for your kind words. They mean a lot to your carer, and I know she loved supporting you too! Best wishes from all at PM24 to you.
I would recommend them to anyone looking for this type of help. They were very informative and explained each and every step. They maintain contact with you doing nothing without your consent. The carers have been delightful, and my parents are well looked after.
Thank you for your kind review Debbie, it is our pleasure to support you and your parents. Best wishes Mark and the team, Promedica 24 Dorset.
The care has been very good and the carer very helpful. The company have organised everything efficiently and I am happy with the service.
Promedica24 have been providing live-in care for my 89-year-old mum since she came out of hospital after a fall. The Carer is very supportive, kind and encouraging. The personal service from the management has been flexible and understanding. The family feel confident that mum is being very well cared for.
Thank you Lesley we really appreciate your kind feedback and are delighted your mum has been able to continue living independently with our support. We heard about the fantastic mince pies that your mum baked before Christmas.
We have employed Promedica24 Lin-In Care since July 2019 to look after my elderly mother who has dementia and no longer able to live safely on her own. We have found Prodemedica staff to be caring and compassionate in supporting Mum in both personal and domestic care tasks. In addition, her current carer is also very proactive in offering 'enrichment' activities which Mum really enjoys eg., going for walks together, reading books, looking through photographs together. I have also found the management staff very responsive when needed. Overall, I would recommend this company.
It is so satisfying to know when the team have performed their role so well. Thank you on behalf of the Promedica24 team for such kind words of appreciation.
Fantastic carer. As she was only here nine days and could not do enough for me. She was so professional and knew that I was preparing to go alone for the second time.
Dear Helen, thank you ever so much for choosing us. It has been a pleasure to support you and if you ever need us again we are here and ready to help. All the best, Tibor.
Both the ladies are extremely well trained, professional, warm, caring and nothing is too much trouble. They have adapted to Mum's changing needs flawlessly and we are confident that Mum is getting the best care possible while still remaining in her own home.
The communication with the management is very good, well organised and we have already recommended Promedica24 to friends.
We have been provided with three care workers and each one was a really nice and kind person, conscientious with good English. Promedica were wonderful in their communications and keeping us informed, and reacting to our queries. Sadly this service didn't work for us and here is the caveat. We required a care worker who was very experienced with Alzheimer's and challenging behaviour and although the team assured us that they had the requisite experience, none of them did. So I would unhesitatingly recommend the agency for personal care and looking after someone with non-challenging behaviour.
Thank you so much for your constructive comments Sally. Its great to read you appreciated the efforts of the team and that the carers really tried their best but also sad that we were not able to meet the specific needs of the family at this time. As a regulated provider it is important to have...
Thank you Promedica!
Many thanks, Jenny - it has been a great pleasure to look after your parents.
Everything has been perfect and we have no complaints. The carer has been like a little sister to me. I cannot fault how everything has been organised and would recommend Promedica to a family.
I would like to show my appreciation of the kind words here, it makes all the hard work put into making our service special worth it. Thank you so much.
My husband has been a client of Promedica24 since December 2018. He had a stroke in July 2018 and after spending several months in hospital and rehabilitation has had 24-hour care supplied by Promedica24. I have found Promedica24 efficient to deal with and they have made the whole process easy. The carers have all been very kind and caring and a pleasure to have living as family. My husband has made progress with their determination, drive and hard work.
Thank you, it is our pleasure to support. Kind Regards
The carer established a sympathetic and caring regime which met the needs of the client in all respects, and which has been fundamental in the continued mental and physical improvement of the client.
We are impressed by the professionalism of Promedica24 and have no hesitation in making a recommendation.
We’re most grateful for the support you are giving.
Kind Regards
Mark
The carers from Promedica who look after my father have been amazing. We trust them implicitly, they are caring, capable and kind. My father was very ill in hospital recently and our carer went in every day for several hours to ensure dad was eating and given enough fluids. We are grateful to our carer and to Promedica for sending such wonderful people to look after my father.
Thank you for your kind words. We have built up a wonderful relationship with your father over the past 18 months, and long may that continue.
It was important in deciding on live-in care for our mother that she maintain as much control over her life as possible. The managers took the time to understand what was wanted to ensure that the carer was a good match. Subsequently, they have been responsive to questions, and prompt and professional with the administration.
The first carer spoke excellent English, showed sensitivity in helping our mother adapt, and she now feels reassured by having someone there. She also enjoys the home cooking, which is important to her and having all her shopping and cleaning taken care of. Both carers have been kind, patient and considerate regarding privacy, and we can enjoy spending time with Mum, rather than worrying about what might happen in our absence.
Although it is still early days, we are happy that a difficult situation has been eased, and that we have made a good choice both financially and, more importantly, in terms of the quality of care provided.
Thank you for making time to provide a testimonial. It is always a pleasure to visit. Mark and the Team.
When it became clear that Dad was dying, his carer chose to remain at his bedside and continued to help me care for my dad, for which I am incredibly grateful. The carer was only with us for a short time but we now consider him to be a family friend and would recommend him and Promedica24 to anyone seeking live in care for themselves or their loved one.
We used Promedica24’s services to care for my mother when she left hospital and needed extra care. The care and assistance we received was first class, both for us as a family and my mother. The manager was always at the end of the phone if needed and would occasionally call just to check everything was fine and we were happy. This was very helpful at a time when we, as a family, were under quite a bit of pressure and stress with full-time work as well as the worry of mum’s wellbeing. Mum’s carer was extremely caring and understanding and we felt mum was being cared for by a friend.
We would not hesitate to use their services again if needed.
Thank you, we hope all goes well for the future. Kind Regards
Mark
The carers are clean, well presented and speak good English. Their spoken English has improved as they have gained confidence and spoken with people with a local accent. We also play scrabble. Their housekeeping skills are of a high standard. We have been able to talk about many things including current affairs. We have been able to talk about many things including current affairs. My only concern is that they might express their opinions about work attitude in inappropriate places. This has not happened. They have encouraged me to use the local bus and go out more and generally encouraged me to enjoy life. They treat me with respect, dignity and a sense of humour.
It has been a pleasure to provide support for Richard, and it is very satisfying to know we are helping him to remain as independent as possible whilst offering genuine companionship.

I started working in care over 15 years ago. My son was two and a half at the time and I needed a job that would fit around being his mum.
I started as a Care Support Worker and quickly found that I really enjoyed being part of a care team. Hearing people's stories, and being able to be a small part in ensuring they still knew they were valued and that they still had a lot to offer this world gave me a sense of knowing that this was the career path for me.
I worked as a Carer, Admin Support, Trainer, Locality Manager, Client Relationship Manager, and Care Manager and after completing my level 5, I have now moved up into the Registered Manager Role.
I hope to lead with a servant's heart and enable my team to achieve their goals. Care is where my heart lies, and being able to be a part of a fantastic care company in a leadership role is a challenge I am looking forward to, and one where I will give my very best. I will uphold our values, and work hard with my colleagues to ensure we deliver the best possible person-centred care.
I choose to work in the care sector because I meet lots of amazing people all the time, from the people we support to other like-minded colleagues who genuinely care.
Working for Promedica24 has given me the opportunity to really make a difference to people who prefer to stay in their own homes, at a time in their lives when they feel a little more vulnerable.
I choose to work in the care sector because I know I am making a positive difference every day.
I have worked in care for the last 28 years in the community and residential care with elderly and special needs children. I personally feel it is the best job as I get to help people either to learn and develop or to remain in their homes safely and well. Developing relationships with them learning about their past and their wishes, likes and dislikes to meet their needs.
I have met people who worked with Laural and Hardy, and a dancer who was with the Russian ballet. You never know what people have done till get to know them and ask which I feel is what makes the work so interesting.
I have been with Promedica24 for 5 years and I enjoy that every day is completely different, I work with a fantastic team and we all work together to promote the outcomes of the people who use our service.
I have worked in the care industry in a variety of settings and positions since 2004, joining Promedica24 in 2023 as a Care Manager. I am passionate about quality care and advocating for people using the service. I love working with a company that shares my passion and values.
Lorraine is Level 5 Qualified and has a passion for delivering person-centred care.
She also enjoys supporting training and loves to help others, taking great pride in her job.
A common theme throughout my career is my desire to help and support others. Whether through my community fundraising initiatives with local charities such as Dementia Forward or through raising key issues with decision makers in health and social care – I am passionate about ensuring the people of Lancashire and North Yorkshire can live independently and well in the comfort of their own homes.
In my spare time I enjoy playing golf, walking in the countryside with Gill and our dogs, and watching my favourite football team, Manchester United – though that's not been too enjoyable in recent times!
I am convinced supporting people to remain in the home they love is the best environment for people who find themselves needing support. As life chips away at our capabilities, we will all need some level of support. This varies greatly from preparing meals, providing a means for people to remain active in their communities to helping couples remain together. The relationships I have witnessed and the changes we have enabled show me that we are making a positive impact in people’s lives every day.
In my spare time, I act as a non-paid driver for my daughter ferrying her to various clubs, and I occasionally get out for a bike ride with friends. With two cats, a dog, a hamster, fish, and frogs, there is always something to do. Walking our dog Thor keeps me fit whatever the weather and I’m fortunate to live in a lovely area with the beach and forest not far away.
I am also a Dementia Friend with the Alzheimer’s Society, raising awareness and understanding of what it’s like living with the condition in my community.
Hello, I’m John – your Regional Partner for Chester, Cheshire, and North Wales. I launched the Promedica24 Cheshire branch just over five years ago to provide the communities I serve with a genuine alternative to residential care. I’m proud to say my live-in care branch is known amongst the Cheshire community as the go-to provider in the area.
Caring for people is part of my family heritage. My parents both worked in the NHS, my sister still does, and my children aspire to be dietitians and physiotherapists. As a teenager, I saw how hard it was for my parents to juggle their busy jobs whilst raising a young family and caring for my grandparents. I know what this pressure looks and feels like for people now.
Today, what my parents want from professional care in later life has radically altered. They wish to remain at home. To stay in familiar surroundings, with family and friends able to visit at any time. To keep their pets, their possessions, and routines. To live their own lives and have their own choices. I very much welcome a chat with you to see how we can improve you and your loved one's life if professional care is required.
In my spare time, you’ll find me in my garden or on a tennis court (I’m quite competitive). Maybe reading a history book - if I get any peace and quiet with teenage children around – which isn’t often!
Hello, I’m Jonathan – your Regional Partner for Wirral. I launched the Promedica24 branch in 2016 after identifying a real need for alternatives to residential care in the area. I was born in Clatterbridge and grew up in West Kirby before going to the University of Leeds to read Russian and Czech. I spent over 20 years in the IT and telecommunications sector, working across the UK and Europe meeting people from many different nationalities and cultures. I’m now married and live in Heswall with my family.
I am part of the Dementia Friends initiative, participating in Dementia Services Showcase events in addition to being a key speaker at Later Life Seminars with AgeUK Wirral. I look forward to working with you and seeing how we can best support you to live independently in the comfort of your own home.
As a keen fan of the outdoors, I was an active member and volunteer at Neston Cricket club for over 10 years and I’m now a volunteer and participant at both West Kirby and Dee Sailing Clubs where I sail with my children. In Wirral, we are fortunate to have an abundance of wonderful outdoor spaces on our doorstep and I hope people of all ages can continue to enjoy them for a long time to come.
Hello, I’m Rishard – your Regional Partner for Berkshire and South Buckinghamshire. I was born in South Africa and launched the Promedica24 Berkshire and South Buckinghamshire branch six years ago. Before this, I was a teacher and Head of Department for Speech, Drama and English Literature students in South Africa, New Zealand and the UK for more than 30 years. I hold a CELTA qualification and can teach English as a second language. I have also been a professional actor on stage and in the film both in South Africa and England, having appeared in numerous productions.
Running my live-in care branch has allowed me to use my life to benefit the lives of others. I especially feel a deep sense of gratitude when you assist a person who has spent months in a hospital bed, to finally be in their own home, to see the smile on their face as they settle into their favourite seat. I look forward to being of service to you, making your life more comfortable, and getting you home.
I’m an avid aviation enthusiast, photographer and videographer. I also have a love for travel and cooking.
Hello, I’m Tibor – your Regional Partner for North & West Surrey. As one of the very first franchise partners in the UK, I have been running my live-in care branch in Surrey since April 2014. Back in my home country, Hungary, I worked in PR and sales, before moving into the care industry and working as a carer for two years. Fast forward eight years, and I have helped hundreds of families across Surrey find the support they need.
I am passionate about making a difference in my community, and my role as Regional Partner is to ensure people have access to the support they need to live their lives. Whether your loved one requires help around the home, or you are finding everyday tasks just that little bit more challenging, we are here to provide you with the best possible care to live your life independently in the comfort of your own home.
For almost two years, before Covid, I supported the local community as a volunteer driver, taking vulnerable people to GP and hospital appointments. I have also been helping a local family with two disabled children for several years as a translator and interpreter to keep in touch with social services and healthcare professionals.
Hello, I’m Chris – your Regional Partner for West Sussex. I launched my Promedica24 branch in 2017 and for over five years have enabled people to live independently and well in the comfort of their own homes. Before this, I held several senior management positions and directorships, leading business development and sales teams within the media industry.
I strive to ensure the residents of West Sussex can access a genuine alternative to residential care. I’m motivated by a personal commitment that everyone should have the choice and ability to access high-quality care at home. Whether short, long-term, respite, or urgent care is required, the Promedica24 care team and I are on hand to provide the highest quality support for you or a loved one.
In my spare time, I enjoy gardening and attending auctions. I also play golf and cycle around the beautiful villages of West Sussex. I am also a key sponsor and volunteer at The Glamour Club, a local community event for the over-55s in Worthing which is on a mission to end loneliness and loneliness caused by social isolation in Worthing and beyond.
