Thank you Promedica24 for sending such a wonderful 1st carer for my mother - only a century young! Her carer has a good sense of humour and is a great companion. She makes exercise set by the physiotherapist fun. If the weather is fine, they both enjoy a short stroll to the local park. Mother now has
regular home-cooked meals and has a busy daily routine, which is wonderful. She mostly hosted a delicious birthday tea party for mother this September and welcomes all guests when they have dropped by.

Promedica24, so far, has provided us with a superb level of individual care in mother's home and great assurance to the rest of the family that granny is in very safe hands!

My mum had been with Promedica24 for the last 4 years and during that time she received excellent care and all of the carers became one of the family. The backup and support I received from the company was exemplary at all times.

Promedica24 was recommended to me by a friend. My 87-year-old father had spent a miserable month in a nursing home after a spell in hospital. The other residents had dementia and the care itself was well under par for the amount we were paying. My father’s health was deteriorating under these circumstances
and so when we first made contact with ProMedica we made them aware of this.

From the first meeting, we were reassured that everything could be actioned swiftly and they worked tirelessly to ensure all his needs would be met. The service was exceptional in setting the process up and within two weeks dad was back in his own home with a live-in carer. Everything was very professional and easy to deal with. Dad’s health has improved physically and mentally and the carer is extremely capable and kind. To be in one’s own home nearing the end of life but with compassionate assistance offers so much more dignity and reassurance, I cannot recommend this company enough.

My Auntie has been supported by Promedica24 for nearly two years. There are two carers who share her care and work three months on and three months off. I cannot praise the carers highly enough. My Auntie is extremely well looked after. The house is clean and tidy. Fresh, wholesome meals are prepared
daily. My Auntie is very comfortable and relaxed sharing her home with the carers. The Management Team are also excellent and have always answered any questions promptly and have managed the COVID situation very well. I highly recommend Promedica24.

A challenging client with behavioural problems. (picks, frontal lobe disease)
Promedica24 were absolutely superb in setting up care, very efficient and fast.
(we needed care quick)
We were with Promedica24 for 3 months using 3 male carers.
Management excellent all aspects explained in great detail.
Probably
could improve with more intense training regarding cooking English meals and communication in English before sending carers from Poland.
Would recommend.

Promedica24 organised a live-in carer to look after my 81-year-old mother after a hip operation. The chosen carer was well suited to mum and she went above and beyond to look after her. For a period of 6 weeks, she delivered comfort and support, a very healthy diet and assistance with gentle exercise.
She was instrumental in helping her towards a speedy recovery. We were also sent regular updates on mum’s progress (including videos, which was lovely!). Promedica made the whole process so simple and they were flexible with dates (the date of mums operation was changed at short notice) I would highly recommend Promedica.

Promedica24 Wirral has provided a live-in carer for my mother at short notice, during a time of upheaval and uncertainty during the Coronavirus outbreak. From my initial contact with the manager onwards, the experience has been entirely positive. The manager responded speedily and was understanding
of our needs and concerns. The carer he lined up for us has proved to be a perfect match, and the manager has provided ongoing contact and support both to our carer, my mother and me. His friendly, helpful and personal touch has been very much appreciated. Our contact with another member of Promedica has been entirely positive too. Many thanks for a top-notch service - we're very grateful, and will definitely be recommending your services to any friends or neighbours who might need it in future.

In the past twelve months, my mum has been fortunate to have had one carer who has chosen to return to look after my mother several times now. She is an excellent carer in every way. The only reason I have not given a rating of excellent for the questions below is that at times, other carers who have
spent time looking after my mother have not always provided excellent care in the same way mums current carer does. Even so, the overall care my mum has received has been consistently good and I have felt reassured to know my mother is safe.

My father is on the end of life register and had spent six weeks in hospital with serious health issues.
He was released from hospital once and had to be returned within 24 hours as no suitable care was available.
He desperately wanted to return home and to die there if possible. Thanks to the heroic
efforts of Promedica24 he has been able to return home with a 24 hour a day carer, and the improvement in him has been fantastic, his enjoyment of life has returned.
The whole team are extremely well coordinated which has made a massive difference to our family. For the first time in many many weeks, we are all able to sleep and relax in the knowledge he is being so well cared for.
I am fortunate to have both my parents alive at 90 and 93 although they are at different ends of the country, as a 68-year-old myself in self-isolation my position would have been unbearable without their superb help.

I was struck how professional and caring the manager was, prior to our meeting he called to ask about my father, which to me spoke volumes.
Sadly my father suffered a major stroke in 2018 which left him with Aphasia, communication was very frustrating for him. It was crucial that the agency I chose,
had to be able to communicate with him and had lots of patience. He had some wonderful carers over the 12 months. They really went that extra mile, made sure he was taken out in his wheelchair daily so he could see something of the outside world rather than the four walls of his room, they spent quality time with him doing exercises, puzzles, playing endless games of dominoes which he really enjoyed. I lived 320 miles away and it was extremely important to me that I could reply on Promedica 24, between the manager and the care manager, they always made sure all ran smoothly which put my mind at ease, they were always at the end of the phone if needed. I whole heartedly recommend Promedica 24.

Looking for suitable/affordable care for our father who is physically disabled following a stroke and falls. A helper recommended Promedica 24 we called the manager, he was extremely reassuring and understood our situation. At our father’s home, he was extremely professional and helpful in his handling
of the meeting at which our father decided to be obstructive and angry. He was able to help Dad to understand the situation and reassure him that nothing would be put in place without his full involvement. We then met another lady to ascertain Dad’s needs in detail, preferences, care package etc she was also kind, professional and reassuring. Dad’s carer is proving to be a wonderful match for Dad, who is also very comfortable with him. The manager is regularly in contact with us, the carer and Dad to monitor how things are. We feel comforted and relieved that Dad is in the hands of such a professional and caring company. They have taken the stress out of an extremely difficult situation.

We've had great help from Promedica24, providing a professional level of care to my elderly parents, in the privacy and comfort of their own home, over the past 18 months. The company were quick to respond to our initial request for help and have lived up to our expectations. The management and the
other staff have been easy to contact for answers to questions, or requests for information, and have worked closely with us to adjust the care package to our changing needs. They have supplied a series of kind and competent carers, the very best of whom return regularly and feels like a very valued member of our family now.
It is a great relief to us to be able to have complete trust in the level of care our parents receive.

My son is being cared for on a one to one basis by a live-in carer, while they study at University. We have found the live-in care provided by the Promedica24 carers to be of a very high standard. They are always available when my son needs anything, which is ideal to meet his care needs while he is

Following a life-changing stroke one year ago my mum spent 6 weeks in the hospital, then 5 months in a care home until we could find her a more suitable house to call home. I contacted the manager at Pro-Medica and he was so helpful and kind. I felt that he truly took an interest in what would be best
for mum and helped supply her with someone who could help her settle into her new home. I was not disappointed!

The first carer mum had turned that new space into a home and settled mum into a regular routine. Mum now has her second carer and she is absolutely amazing. We feel so secure in knowing that mum is very safe in her care. She truly has mum’s best interests at heart and looks after every single detail when we are not there to assist. Mum thinks the world of her, and whilst it has not been an easy journey over the past year, she has made the situation a lot more satisfying for mum. She is an exemplary carer and we feel truly blessed to have such a lovely person looking after mum.

I was told about Promedica24 by social services after having problems with other care agencies who were looking after my friend and neighbour.
I had a meeting with the Regional Partner who was very helpful and understanding of the help my friend needed.
A care package was quickly and easily put in
place and since then I have had no problems.
My friends live-in carer is extremely caring and looks after him really well, she has given him a new lease of life, he enjoys her company because she takes time to interact with him, and they have a nice rapport. When she has her breaks Promedica24 is extremely efficient with the arrival and handover to the relief carer and I’m always fully informed of dates and times. I highly recommend Promedica24.

We cannot speak highly enough of our carer, who proved to be an exceptional companion and carer for our 93-year-old friend. He established an excellent rapport, and his caring and compassionate manner impressed all who visited. He instituted a gentle regime to increase our friend's fitness and took
particular care over his diet. This, in turn, led to an upturn in his mental and physical wellbeing, and he was able to enjoy the benefits during the summer.
I was particularly impressed by the mutual respect and genuine friendship which developed and the selfless way in which our carer carried out his duties. He was perceptive and knowledgeable in handling any issues, both relatives and friends were confident that our friend was in good hands. Inevitably the frailty of old age took its toll, and we are all extremely grateful to Promedica24 for providing a carer of such outstanding quality at such an important time.

I had an extremely kind and caring Polish girl looking after me for a week before my hip replacement operation and for four weeks afterwards. She was incredibly helpful, drove me to family and friends’ houses, did my shopping and we often went out together for pub lunches. She was very easy to live
with and very attentive and kept me company even when doing the wretched exercises three times a day! I felt thoroughly spoilt and I will miss her company enormously when she leaves on Tuesday. We found a Polish shop in Chichester so she cooked some Polish meals as well as all other meals. There is also a Polish service in our Catholic Church which she went to on some Sundays. Washing and ironing were done very consistently and the house has never been cleaner. I would thoroughly recommend this agency. It is extremely well run, friendly and they found me my carer within a week. During the first week, a representative from Promedica visited to check both I and my carer were happy.

I was looking for a 24-hour live-in care provider for my parents. Promedica24 was given to me alongside other named providers. Having no knowledge of this type of care, I had to make a choice. I chose Promedica24, and I am so pleased I did.
I would recommend them to anyone looking for this type of

I started working in care over 15 years ago. My son was two and a half at the time and I needed a job that would fit around being his mum.

I started as a Care Support Worker and quickly found that I really enjoyed being part of a care team. Hearing people's stories, and being able to be a small part in ensuring they still knew they were valued and that they still had a lot to offer this world gave me a sense of knowing that this was the career path for me.

I believe starting as a Carer and then working my way up has allowed me to see the different processes and given me a better overall understanding. I am passionate about good person-centred care where the person is always at the heart of everything we do. I worked my way up over the years studying as I went along.

I worked as a Carer, Admin Support, Trainer, Locality Manager, Client Relationship Manager, and Care Manager and after completing my level 5, I have now moved up into the Registered Manager Role.

Working within Promedica24 has given me a great sense of teamwork, of the importance of supporting your team, and a great understanding of how putting the people who use our service first has great benefits for all.

I hope to lead with a servant's heart and enable my team to achieve their goals. Care is where my heart lies, and being able to be a part of a fantastic care company in a leadership role is a challenge I am looking forward to, and one where I will give my very best. I will uphold our values, and work hard with my colleagues to ensure we deliver the best possible person-centred care.

This varies greatly from preparing meals, providing a means for people to remain active in their communities to helping couples remain together. The relationships I have witnessed and the changes we have enabled show me that we are making a positive impact in people’s lives every day.

In my spare time, I act as a non-paid driver for my daughter ferrying her to various clubs, and I occasionally get out for a bike ride with friends. With two cats, a dog, a hamster, fish, and frogs, there is always something to do. Walking our dog Thor keeps me fit whatever the weather and I’m fortunate to live in a lovely area with the beach and forest not far away.

I am also a Dementia Friend with the Alzheimer’s Society, raising awareness and understanding of what it’s like living with the condition in my community.

Job Title: Chester, Cheshire and North Wales Regional Partner

Hello, I’m John – your Regional Partner for Chester, Cheshire, and North Wales. I launched the Promedica24 Cheshire branch just over five years ago to provide the communities I serve with a genuine alternative to residential care. I’m proud to say my live-in care branch is known amongst the Cheshire community as the go-to provider in the area.

Caring for people is part of my family heritage. My parents both worked in the NHS, my sister still does, and my children aspire to be dietitians and physiotherapists. As a teenager, I saw how hard it was for my parents to juggle their busy jobs whilst raising a young family and caring for my grandparents. I know what this pressure looks and feels like for people now.

Today, what my parents want from professional care in later life has radically altered. They wish to remain at home. To stay in familiar surroundings, with family and friends able to visit at any time. To keep their pets, their possessions, and routines. To live their own lives and have their own choices. I very much welcome a chat with you to see how we can improve you and your loved one's life if professional care is required.

In my spare time, you’ll find me in my garden or on a tennis court (I’m quite competitive). Maybe reading a history book - if I get any peace and quiet with teenage children around – which isn’t often!

Hello, I’m Jonathan – your Regional Partner for Wirral. I launched the Promedica24 branch in 2016 after identifying a real need for alternatives to residential care in the area. I was born in Clatterbridge and grew up in West Kirby before going to the University of Leeds to read Russian and Czech. I look forward to working with you and seeing how we can best support you to live independently in the comfort of your own home.

As a keen fan of the outdoors, I was an active member and volunteer at Neston Cricket club for over 10 years and I’m now a volunteer and participant at both West Kirby and Dee Sailing Clubs where I sail with my children. In Wirral, we are fortunate to have an abundance of wonderful outdoor spaces on our doorstep and I hope people of all ages can continue to enjoy them for a long time to come.

Hello, I’m Rishard – your Regional Partner for Berkshire and South Buckinghamshire. I was born in South Africa and launched the Promedica24 Berkshire and South Buckinghamshire branch six years ago. Job Title: North Surrey Regional Partner

Hello, I’m Tibor – your Regional Partner for North & West Surrey. As one of the very first franchise partners in the UK, I have been running my live-in care branch in Surrey since April 2014. Fast forward eight years, and I have helped hundreds of families across Surrey find the support they need.

I am passionate about making a difference in my community, and my role as Regional Partner is to ensure people have access to the support they need to live their lives. Whether your loved one requires help around the home, or you are finding everyday tasks just that little bit more challenging, we are here to provide you with the best possible care to live your life independently in the comfort of your own home.

For almost two years, before Covid, I supported the local community as a volunteer driver, taking vulnerable people to GP and hospital appointments. I have also been helping a local family with two disabled children for several years as a translator and interpreter to keep in touch with social services and healthcare professionals.
