I had promised my father before he died that I would look after my mother and keep her at home as long as I could. I had a company come in to look after her on a live contract. They were ok. However, Promedica 24 were recommended to me and I will always be great full to them as the care my mother has received has been everything that my father and I could have wished for. The girls have not only looked after my mother but the house has been looked after and always clean. Any questions I have had have been dealt with by the Regional Partner straight away and I could not ask for better service. On the care side I have the area manager who sorted out anything I asked of her. She is absolutely fantastic at what she does and a wonderful girl with it. I can only say that what has been the most difficult time in my life watching my mother who has dementia changing with time being looked after so well has helped me to cope with it. Thank you so much to Promedica 24.
Thank you for your lovely review. We are honoured that we were able to care for your mother and play our part in keeping your promise to your father. Sending best wishes to you and your family from all of the Promedica24 Team.
When the carer arrived at our home, the settling in process was also thorough for the carer and my mother by the care manager. She tried to ensure that the transition was as smooth as possible for all involved. The carers we had we all very willing, patient and caring and worked hard to ensure that all aspects of my mother’s care were taken care of.
I have found the staff exceptional supportive throughout and would highly recommend Promedica24.
Thank you for your kind words. We believe we have a fantastic care team that identifies the most appropriate carer to provide live-in home care that meets your specific needs. Your recognition of this is appreciated by every member of our team.
We have been very pleased with our carer, she is a very caring person and respects the feelings of my mother-in-law. Our care manager is easily available and is very helpful in ensuring we get the best service from ProMedica24.
Thank you for your kind words. We believe we have a fantastic care team and your recognition of this is appreciated by every member of our team.
Promedica24 continues to provide an excellent 24 hour home care service to my mother who is unable to care for herself due to Alzheimer’s Disease. We are now in our third year of contract with Promedica24, enabling my mother to remain in her own home.
Over this time the carers have been consistently very good - meeting my mother’s needs and providing wonderful companionship.
We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality care and your recognition of this is highly valued by our team. Thank you for sharing your experience.
Getting help and support with Mum’s care from Promedica24 was our best decision. The assistance we gave her was well-intended but was not the professional care she deserved. As soon as Promedica24 Carer’s arrived we could relax knowing she was in safe hands. We could enjoy quality time with her again chatting over tea and biscuits, instead of addressing a list of her worries. The Carer’s were not strangers in her home that she feared but became familiar faces giving her professional care and kindness. She enjoyed getting to know them and sharing stories about Dad and the rest of the family, in the home they made together over 60 years ago. We are grateful to Promedica24 for improving Mum’s quality of life and giving ours back to us!
Thank you for your kind words. We believe we have a fantastic care team and your recognition of this is appreciated by every member of our team.
Thank you Promedica24 for sending such a wonderful 1st carer for my mother - only a century young! Her carer has a good sense of humour and is a great companion. She makes exercise set by the physiotherapist fun. If the weather is fine, they both enjoy a short stroll to the local park. Mother now has regular home-cooked meals and has a busy daily routine, which is wonderful. She mostly hosted a delicious birthday tea party for mother this September and welcomes all guests when they have dropped by.
Promedica24, so far, has provided us with a superb level of individual care in mother's home and great assurance to the rest of the family that granny is in very safe hands!
We are thrilled with your positive experience and so glad your mother is also pleased with our care. Thank you for sharing your kind words, these will be passed on to the team.
My mum had been with Promedica24 for the last 4 years and during that time she received excellent care and all of the carers became one of the family. The backup and support I received from the company was exemplary at all times.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience of Promedica24. We are delighted that you had such a positive experience with our care team.
Care excellent. Changeover sometimes rocky, largely due to brexit/covid.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience of Promedica24, your feedback is important to us, as is the care and well-being of all of our service users. We are delighted that you had such a positive experience with our care team.
Promedica24 was recommended to me by a friend. My 87-year-old father had spent a miserable month in a nursing home after a spell in hospital. The other residents had dementia and the care itself was well under par for the amount we were paying. My father’s health was deteriorating under these circumstances and so when we first made contact with ProMedica we made them aware of this.
From the first meeting, we were reassured that everything could be actioned swiftly and they worked tirelessly to ensure all his needs would be met. The service was exceptional in setting the process up and within two weeks dad was back in his own home with a live-in carer. Everything was very professional and easy to deal with. Dad’s health has improved physically and mentally and the carer is extremely capable and kind. To be in one’s own home nearing the end of life but with compassionate assistance offers so much more dignity and reassurance, I cannot recommend this company enough.
We are thrilled with your positive experience and so glad to see the improvements in your father. Thank you for sharing your kind words.
My Auntie has been supported by Promedica24 for nearly two years. There are two carers who share her care and work three months on and three months off. I cannot praise the carers highly enough. My Auntie is extremely well looked after. The house is clean and tidy. Fresh, wholesome meals are prepared daily. My Auntie is very comfortable and relaxed sharing her home with the carers. The Management Team are also excellent and have always answered any questions promptly and have managed the COVID situation very well. I highly recommend Promedica24.
We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality care and your recognition of this is highly valued by our team. Thank you for sharing your experience.
Promedica24 were absolutely superb in setting up care, very efficient and fast.
(we needed care quick)
We were with Promedica24 for 3 months using 3 male carers.
Management excellent all aspects explained in great detail.
Probably could improve with more intense training regarding cooking English meals and communication in English before sending carers from Poland.
Would recommend.
Promedica24 organised a live-in carer to look after my 81-year-old mother after a hip operation. The chosen carer was well suited to mum and she went above and beyond to look after her. For a period of 6 weeks, she delivered comfort and support, a very healthy diet and assistance with gentle exercise. She was instrumental in helping her towards a speedy recovery. We were also sent regular updates on mum’s progress (including videos, which was lovely!). Promedica made the whole process so simple and they were flexible with dates (the date of mums operation was changed at short notice) I would highly recommend Promedica.
Promedica24 Wirral has provided a live-in carer for my mother at short notice, during a time of upheaval and uncertainty during the Coronavirus outbreak. From my initial contact with the manager onwards, the experience has been entirely positive. The manager responded speedily and was understanding of our needs and concerns. The carer he lined up for us has proved to be a perfect match, and the manager has provided ongoing contact and support both to our carer, my mother and me. His friendly, helpful and personal touch has been very much appreciated. Our contact with another member of Promedica has been entirely positive too. Many thanks for a top-notch service - we're very grateful, and will definitely be recommending your services to any friends or neighbours who might need it in future.
Hi Kate and many thanks for your kind words. It is a privilege to help support your mother during her journey back to living independently. Kind regards, Jonathan, and all the team.
In the past twelve months, my mum has been fortunate to have had one carer who has chosen to return to look after my mother several times now. She is an excellent carer in every way. The only reason I have not given a rating of excellent for the questions below is that at times, other carers who have spent time looking after my mother have not always provided excellent care in the same way mums current carer does. Even so, the overall care my mum has received has been consistently good and I have felt reassured to know my mother is safe.
He was released from hospital once and had to be returned within 24 hours as no suitable care was available.
He desperately wanted to return home and to die there if possible. Thanks to the heroic efforts of Promedica24 he has been able to return home with a 24 hour a day carer, and the improvement in him has been fantastic, his enjoyment of life has returned.
The whole team are extremely well coordinated which has made a massive difference to our family. For the first time in many many weeks, we are all able to sleep and relax in the knowledge he is being so well cared for.
I am fortunate to have both my parents alive at 90 and 93 although they are at different ends of the country, as a 68-year-old myself in self-isolation my position would have been unbearable without their superb help.
Thank you so much for your kind words. Lovely to know everyone can sleep a little more soundly in the knowledge that your father is in our hands. Best wishes from the entire team at Promedica24.
Sadly my father suffered a major stroke in 2018 which left him with Aphasia, communication was very frustrating for him. It was crucial that the agency I chose, had to be able to communicate with him and had lots of patience. He had some wonderful carers over the 12 months. They really went that extra mile, made sure he was taken out in his wheelchair daily so he could see something of the outside world rather than the four walls of his room, they spent quality time with him doing exercises, puzzles, playing endless games of dominoes which he really enjoyed. I lived 320 miles away and it was extremely important to me that I could reply on Promedica 24, between the manager and the care manager, they always made sure all ran smoothly which put my mind at ease, they were always at the end of the phone if needed. I whole heartedly recommend Promedica 24.
Thank you ever so much for your kind words Rose, it was our pleasure to support you and your father , best wishes Mark and the team.
Promedica24 is professional live-in care agency, consistently making good commitments. Their carers do a great job and they are managed properly by competent care managers.
Thank you very much for your kind words Dora. Much appreciated.
Looking for suitable/affordable care for our father who is physically disabled following a stroke and falls. A helper recommended Promedica 24 we called the manager, he was extremely reassuring and understood our situation. At our father’s home, he was extremely professional and helpful in his handling of the meeting at which our father decided to be obstructive and angry. He was able to help Dad to understand the situation and reassure him that nothing would be put in place without his full involvement. We then met another lady to ascertain Dad’s needs in detail, preferences, care package etc she was also kind, professional and reassuring. Dad’s carer is proving to be a wonderful match for Dad, who is also very comfortable with him. The manager is regularly in contact with us, the carer and Dad to monitor how things are. We feel comforted and relieved that Dad is in the hands of such a professional and caring company. They have taken the stress out of an extremely difficult situation.
Thank you for making time to share your experience regarding our support and care, it means a great to us knowing our clients are happy. Thank you, Mark and the Team.
It is a great relief to us to be able to have complete trust in the level of care our parents receive.
Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful words - it is really appreciated - and for entrusting us for so long to look after your parents. It has been and continues to be a real privilege.
My son is being cared for on a one to one basis by a live-in carer, while they study at University. We have found the live-in care provided by the Promedica24 carers to be of a very high standard. They are always available when my son needs anything, which is ideal to meet his care needs while he is away at university.
Thank you so much for your kind review - it is a pleasure and a privilege to be able to support your incredible and talented son during this incredible time of a young person's life.

Working across hospitals, complex care, training roles, care manager roles and a Regional Manager role for 10 years.

I started working in care over 15 years ago. My son was two and a half at the time and I needed a job that would fit around being his mum.
I started as a Care Support Worker and quickly found that I really enjoyed being part of a care team. Hearing people's stories, and being able to be a small part in ensuring they still knew they were valued and that they still had a lot to offer this world gave me a sense of knowing that this was the career path for me.
I worked as a Carer, Admin Support, Trainer, Locality Manager, Client Relationship Manager, and Care Manager and after completing my level 5, I have now moved up into the Registered Manager Role.
I hope to lead with a servant's heart and enable my team to achieve their goals. Care is where my heart lies, and being able to be a part of a fantastic care company in a leadership role is a challenge I am looking forward to, and one where I will give my very best. I will uphold our values, and work hard with my colleagues to ensure we deliver the best possible person-centred care.
I choose to work in the care sector because I meet lots of amazing people all the time, from the people we support to other like-minded colleagues who genuinely care.
Working for Promedica24 has given me the opportunity to really make a difference to people who prefer to stay in their own homes, at a time in their lives when they feel a little more vulnerable.
I choose to work in the care sector because I know I am making a positive difference every day.
I have worked in care for the last 28 years in the community and residential care with elderly and special needs children. I personally feel it is the best job as I get to help people either to learn and develop or to remain in their homes safely and well. Developing relationships with them learning about their past and their wishes, likes and dislikes to meet their needs.
I have met people who worked with Laural and Hardy, and a dancer who was with the Russian ballet. You never know what people have done till get to know them and ask which I feel is what makes the work so interesting.
I have been with Promedica24 for 5 years and I enjoy that every day is completely different, I work with a fantastic team and we all work together to promote the outcomes of the people who use our service.
I have worked in the care industry in a variety of settings and positions since 2004, joining Promedica24 in 2023 as a Care Manager. I am passionate about quality care and advocating for people using the service. I love working with a company that shares my passion and values.
Lorraine is Level 5 Qualified and has a passion for delivering person-centred care.
She also enjoys supporting training and loves to help others, taking great pride in her job.
A common theme throughout my career is my desire to help and support others. Whether through my community fundraising initiatives with local charities such as Dementia Forward or through raising key issues with decision makers in health and social care – I am passionate about ensuring the people of Lancashire and North Yorkshire can live independently and well in the comfort of their own homes.
In my spare time I enjoy playing golf, walking in the countryside with Gill and our dogs, and watching my favourite football team, Manchester United – though that's not been too enjoyable in recent times!
I am convinced supporting people to remain in the home they love is the best environment for people who find themselves needing support. As life chips away at our capabilities, we will all need some level of support. This varies greatly from preparing meals, providing a means for people to remain active in their communities to helping couples remain together. The relationships I have witnessed and the changes we have enabled show me that we are making a positive impact in people’s lives every day.
In my spare time, I act as a non-paid driver for my daughter ferrying her to various clubs, and I occasionally get out for a bike ride with friends. With two cats, a dog, a hamster, fish, and frogs, there is always something to do. Walking our dog Thor keeps me fit whatever the weather and I’m fortunate to live in a lovely area with the beach and forest not far away.
I am also a Dementia Friend with the Alzheimer’s Society, raising awareness and understanding of what it’s like living with the condition in my community.
Hello, I’m John – your Regional Partner for Chester, Cheshire, and North Wales. I launched the Promedica24 Cheshire branch just over five years ago to provide the communities I serve with a genuine alternative to residential care. I’m proud to say my live-in care branch is known amongst the Cheshire community as the go-to provider in the area.
Caring for people is part of my family heritage. My parents both worked in the NHS, my sister still does, and my children aspire to be dietitians and physiotherapists. As a teenager, I saw how hard it was for my parents to juggle their busy jobs whilst raising a young family and caring for my grandparents. I know what this pressure looks and feels like for people now.
Today, what my parents want from professional care in later life has radically altered. They wish to remain at home. To stay in familiar surroundings, with family and friends able to visit at any time. To keep their pets, their possessions, and routines. To live their own lives and have their own choices. I very much welcome a chat with you to see how we can improve you and your loved one's life if professional care is required.
In my spare time, you’ll find me in my garden or on a tennis court (I’m quite competitive). Maybe reading a history book - if I get any peace and quiet with teenage children around – which isn’t often!
Hello, I’m Jonathan – your Regional Partner for Wirral. I launched the Promedica24 branch in 2016 after identifying a real need for alternatives to residential care in the area. I was born in Clatterbridge and grew up in West Kirby before going to the University of Leeds to read Russian and Czech. I spent over 20 years in the IT and telecommunications sector, working across the UK and Europe meeting people from many different nationalities and cultures. I’m now married and live in Heswall with my family.
I am part of the Dementia Friends initiative, participating in Dementia Services Showcase events in addition to being a key speaker at Later Life Seminars with AgeUK Wirral. I look forward to working with you and seeing how we can best support you to live independently in the comfort of your own home.
As a keen fan of the outdoors, I was an active member and volunteer at Neston Cricket club for over 10 years and I’m now a volunteer and participant at both West Kirby and Dee Sailing Clubs where I sail with my children. In Wirral, we are fortunate to have an abundance of wonderful outdoor spaces on our doorstep and I hope people of all ages can continue to enjoy them for a long time to come.
Hello, I’m Rishard – your Regional Partner for Berkshire and South Buckinghamshire. I was born in South Africa and launched the Promedica24 Berkshire and South Buckinghamshire branch six years ago. Before this, I was a teacher and Head of Department for Speech, Drama and English Literature students in South Africa, New Zealand and the UK for more than 30 years. I hold a CELTA qualification and can teach English as a second language. I have also been a professional actor on stage and in the film both in South Africa and England, having appeared in numerous productions.
Running my live-in care branch has allowed me to use my life to benefit the lives of others. I especially feel a deep sense of gratitude when you assist a person who has spent months in a hospital bed, to finally be in their own home, to see the smile on their face as they settle into their favourite seat. I look forward to being of service to you, making your life more comfortable, and getting you home.
I’m an avid aviation enthusiast, photographer and videographer. I also have a love for travel and cooking.
Hello, I’m Tibor – your Regional Partner for North & West Surrey. As one of the very first franchise partners in the UK, I have been running my live-in care branch in Surrey since April 2014. Back in my home country, Hungary, I worked in PR and sales, before moving into the care industry and working as a carer for two years. Fast forward eight years, and I have helped hundreds of families across Surrey find the support they need.
I am passionate about making a difference in my community, and my role as Regional Partner is to ensure people have access to the support they need to live their lives. Whether your loved one requires help around the home, or you are finding everyday tasks just that little bit more challenging, we are here to provide you with the best possible care to live your life independently in the comfort of your own home.
For almost two years, before Covid, I supported the local community as a volunteer driver, taking vulnerable people to GP and hospital appointments. I have also been helping a local family with two disabled children for several years as a translator and interpreter to keep in touch with social services and healthcare professionals.
Hello, I’m Chris – your Regional Partner for West Sussex. I launched my Promedica24 branch in 2017 and for over five years have enabled people to live independently and well in the comfort of their own homes. Before this, I held several senior management positions and directorships, leading business development and sales teams within the media industry.
I strive to ensure the residents of West Sussex can access a genuine alternative to residential care. I’m motivated by a personal commitment that everyone should have the choice and ability to access high-quality care at home. Whether short, long-term, respite, or urgent care is required, the Promedica24 care team and I are on hand to provide the highest quality support for you or a loved one.
In my spare time, I enjoy gardening and attending auctions. I also play golf and cycle around the beautiful villages of West Sussex. I am also a key sponsor and volunteer at The Glamour Club, a local community event for the over-55s in Worthing which is on a mission to end loneliness and loneliness caused by social isolation in Worthing and beyond.
