We recently met with the Manager from Right at Home to discuss care options for my father. From the very beginning, she was warm, kind and incredibly gentle in how she spoke with Dad, she made him feel completely at ease. She really took the time to understand his needs and communicated everything clearly and compassionately. She arranged for a caregiver to come out, who was absolutely lovely. She was friendly, professional and clearly knew what she was doing. In the end, we decided not to go ahead just yet, as my dad feels he does not need this level of care right now. But we were so impressed with the team that we will definitely be coming back when the time is right. Thanks again to your Manager and everyone at Right at Home.
Thank you for taking the time to submit this positive review for us. I know his carer will appreciate your kind words. She enjoyed helping your dad feel at ease and enabling him to feel involved with his care planning. You are welcome to contact us again anytime.
One member of staff in particular is great support and so kind and good with mum. Mum looks forward to her visits and I am so much more at ease.
Thank you for taking the time to submit this lovely review. I'm so pleased your mum looks forward to her visits, and also that it makes you feel at ease. If there is anything addtional the Directors or Office Team can help with at any time, please call or email and we will do our best to assist.
Such a good idea having the introduction of the carer with the client a few days before.
I'm aiming to have small breaks over the next few months so will definitely use Right at Home again..
Thank you for taking the time to submit a review for us. It was lovely to meet you both. We hope you enjoyed your break and felt your husband was at home in safe hands. We look forward to hearing from you again when we are needed:).
It would be hard to overestimate just what a huge and positive impact our carer has had on both our mum and, as a result, our family. In just a couple of months she has become an invaluable member of our family, treating our mother with respect and dignity, speaking to her in a kind an adult way. She has come up with imaginative ideas to help mum get out and about (chair yoga is something new mum is trying) and shows care and compassion when mum feels less able to get out.
As well as supporting mum, she does a first class job of the household chores that need doing (something so many cleaners and cleaning-carers, don't do to such a high standard). She is thorough with great attention to detail.
Mum loves her visits - they get on so well and not only is there great mutual respect but they also have a good dose of fun. Mum would already be lost without her - she thinks the world of her and really looks forwards to her visits which we've now extended by an hour each visit.
Thank you for taking the time to submit such a positive review for us. I am so pleased your mum is benefiting from her Caregiver visits. It's lovely to hear when one of our clients and their Caregiver are doing things together, as our aim is to make our someone feel purposeful and to have a...
We only needed help short term but the empathy and care extended to my husband was exemplary ..and I thank all in the team.
Thank you for taking the time to submit a review. I'm so pleased to hear the care provided to your husband was exemplary. We wish you both all the best. Please reach out any time you need us.
We used Right at Home (Ipswich, Woodbridge & Felixstowe) for a short period to help my Mother get settled and back to normality after several months in hospital and care. We proved them to be a compassionate and professionally run organization that genuinely cared.
Thank you so much for taking the time to submit a review for us. I am so pleased your mother is home and feeling better. We wish you and the family all the very best.
All communications with the office are excellent.
Would highly recommend the company to everyone.
The caregivers arrive on time, are really friendly and do their jobs well. If there are any issues, I ring the office and they are helpful and responsive. Receiving the schedule two weeks in advance means I can update my mum's diary so she knows exactly who is coming and when. We're very happy with the service.
Thank you so much for taking the time to submit a review. I'm glad you find the office team responsive and helpful, and that the Caregivers are on time and carrying out their job well. We're pleased you're happy with the service, and if there is anything further we can assist with, please contact the Directors or Office Team.
I continue to be impressed by the standard and consistency of care provided to my mother. She is treated with kindness and respect by her carers and appreciates being cared for by predominately the same care giver every day. She has formed a close bond with her carer who, because she knows her well, is able to spot if anything is amiss. I find it particularly reassuring to be able to read the carer's notes, and am always able to speak to someone in the office if I am concerned. Equally the office will always phone me if they are concerned.
Thank you for such positive words regarding your mother's support, the consistency of the Caregiver and your feedback on the communication from the office team. As ever, if there is anything the Directors or Office Team can assist with, please reach out to us at a service review, or at any time in between!
It's an invaluable service to allow my wife and I some space to recharge (as we're fulltime caring for mum)
Thanks so much for taking the time to submit a review. It's much appreciated. I'm pleased the service is beneficial to you all, and if there is anything in addition we can help with, please contact the Directors or office team.
From initial exploratory discussions to scheduling and delivery of care, the process has been very person centred tailored to Mum's initial needs as she continues in her recovery. Thank you and we will recommend you as an excellent caring company.
Thank you for taking the time to submit such an informative and kind review. If the Directors or Office Team can assist with anything at any time, please get in touch.
My mother is 93 and has dementia but remains in her own home with support from family and Right at Home (RAH). With the dementia her toileting has become and issue. Most recently the particular concern was blood traces in her incontinence pad. RAH staff drew this to my attention when first seen, I was able to get a GP appointment the same day. There was a reaction to the prescribed antibiotics, but RAH staff were able to get my mum settled for the night.
Thank you for taking time to submit an excellent review. We appreciate your input and your thoughtfulness in assisting us to help your mother remain safe and happy in her home. The ladies love seeing her and supporting her. Please let the Directors or office team know if there is anything additional we can assist with.
We are delighted to have found Right at Home to help care for my husband who has dementia. Our caregiver always goes the extra mile to help out and give support. I would definitely recommend Right at Home.

The whole family are very pleased with the care, attention and details that we receive for my father, all household needs are finished in a speedy manor. The carers are all friendly and caring to all the family.

My carers and the company marvelous.
Thank you so much for taking the time to submit a review saying we're marvellous. The feeling is mutual:) If there is anything else we can do to assist at any time, please ask the Directors or office team who will be happy to help.
From the start we found the care and compassion to be excellent. Relationship with carer was easy and all needs were and are completed with full satisfaction.
Thank you so much for submitting your review and for your positive words about our excellent care. Please contact the Directors or office team if there is anything additional that we can assist with. We are always here to help.
Confidence and kindness come through the door with our carer. We are fortunate indeed.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We will pass those on to your Caregiver. If there is anything the Directors or office team can do at any time, please contact us.
I cannot tell you how grateful we are to the wonderful caregivers who visit my mum on a daily basis. My mum was not altogether welcoming to the idea - and can be difficult - but the team have persevered, offering support and assistance in a discreet and dignified way, whilst providing hugely vital mental and emotional support to my dad. Mum has now begun to seek the carers out to ask when she needs help, which is a major step forward. The daily notes from the carers are so helpful to us - being some distance away - and we really feel they go the extra mile to brighten up both mum's and dad's days. I cannot recommend Right at Home enough.
Thank you so much for submitting your review and for your kind words. We're so pleased to have made a difference with the right approach. Your input has been equally appreciated! Please contact the Directors or office team if there is anything additional that we can assist with.

Meet the Team (7)

I’m Claire Percy, Owner and Managing Director at Right at Home Ipswich, Woodbridge and Felixstowe.
As the Owner and Director of Care with our former Hampshire-based home care service, I was proud to lead our team to an ‘Outstanding’ rating in 2016. At the time just 2% of home care providers were awarded this rating. The regulator said there was ‘a model of personalised and compassionate care, which was a golden thread that ran through the whole of the service.’
I was an Inspector for the Care Quality Commission when we moved to Suffolk in 2018. We were again awarded an 'Outstanding' rating for Right at Home Ipswich, Woodbridge and Felixstowe in 2022 and we're so proud of our team and their commitment to being the best. It is my privilege to work alongside the best Caregiver and office team! There are some amazing individuals in the caring sector, and it feels like they work with us:)!

Each of our Caregivers is with Right at Home Ipswich, Woodbridge and Felixstowe, because of their caring nature, reliability and commitment to continued learning. Without our fantastic Caregiver Team, we wouldn't be able to offer the Outstanding rated service that we provide. They are all very important to us!

I’m Bill Percy, Owner and Director at Right at Home, providing high-quality home care to our clients in Ipswich, Woodbridge and Felixstowe.
My previous roles have been within the corporate drug testing sector, as a Healthcare Manager, and supporting those with learning disabilities. I enjoy delivering Dementia Awareness Workshops to healthcare professionals, voluntary groups and family carers. I’m also a Dementia Champion.
I was motivated to join the home care sector in 2011 after my Mother was diagnosed with dementia. I could see there was a greater need for high-quality person-centred companionship and care, and was proud to be co-founder of a Hampshire-based homecare service for older adults which was awarded an ‘Outstanding’ rating in 2016.
After moving to Suffolk with co-Director Claire, we launched Right at Home, Ipswich, Woodbridge and Felixstowe. We’re excited to be recruiting and training a growing team of compassionate CareGivers. To us, it’s essential to support those in our community, offering each and every person the best care and support whilst promoting their independence.

I'm the Registered Manager with Right at Home Ipswich, Woodbridge and Felixstowe. I joined the team as a Caregiver, a role I feel very passionately about.
I progressed from Deputy Care Manager to Care Manager, and am now proud to be Registered Manager, with responsibility for the management and leadership of Right at Home Ipswich Woodbridge and Felixstowe.
My role is varied from day to day! My responsibilities include Caregiver and office team support, training and development.
I also oversee compliance by ensuring we assess and involve clients in their care planning, we conduct regular reviews for clients, and support meetings for our Caregivers.
I am responsible for training new team members and for managing their refresher training and dementia awareness training.
I completed my Level 5 in Health and Social Care Leadership in 2025.
I have a daughter, dogs, cats and fish! We love animals in our home! I have three sisters, and we’re all very close; family is very important to me.

I'm Stacey, and I joined the Company in March 2022 as a Caregiver, progressed to a field-based compliance role, to Care Coordinator, then on to Client Services Coordinator.
Sometimes, I spend time in the community, getting to know our local support services for older adults, and speaking with them about Right at Home and the Outstanding care we offer.
I am married with five children, who are my world! In my spare time, I enjoy reading, watching films and walking our family dogs.

I have worked in the social care industry in varying roles for most of my career.
I joined as a Caregiver, which I loved. I am now on my next journey within the company and getting to know our clients from a different perspective; when I took on a new challenge, joining the office team, which I am thoroughly enjoying.
I help and advise the Caregiver Team and ensure our clients' support plans are up to date and relevant, so we are safe and fully compliant. I have also trained to support our Client Services Coordinator.

I’m Matilda, the smallest but no less important member of the Right at Home Ipswich team! I'm here to ensure everyone in the team is as happy and energetic as me. My skills include meeting and greeting, sniffing through the contents of handbags, and sleeping upside down in awkward spots.
