Right at Home Ipswich, Woodbridge and Felixstowe is proud to be rated as ‘Outstanding' by the Care Quality Commission (May 2022). The Owners are proud to have owned and run two 'Outstanding' rated homecare services, with just 4% of homecare providers in England achieving Outstanding.

It is important to the Owners that Caregivers are trained, supported and paid fairly. The team provide high-quality care to enhance Clients' lives, enabling them to live safely and happily in their own homes. Visits are a minimum of one hour, allowing time to provide person-centred care that isn’t just ‘task-based’. Caregivers do not just perform a task and then leave! Whether a client is being assisted with home help, personal care or is being accompanied out in the community - companionship and encouragement are always at the heart of the service.

Excellent care starts with recruiting the right individuals who want to make a difference, and ensuring they are trained and supported to be exceptional Caregivers. Each of the team is personally introduced to their new clients who they see regularly. A trusted Caregiver should become an invaluable part of a Client’s support network, but without taking over! Clients are fully involved from the outset, with the aim to do things with the Client where possible, rather than just for them.

We have nothing but praise for the care that our cousin has received from Right at Home, Ipswich. Right from our very first telephone conversation we felt that this was a very compassionate, caring and professionally run company - we had no recommendations only reading the reviews - we hit the jackpot!
They were able to provide the required care for our cousin starting within a few days of our phone call. The dedicated caregiver was excellent in all aspects of her job - nothing was too much trouble - our cousin got to really enjoy her company even though it's turned out to only be for a short period of six weeks. She even contacted us directly on two or three occasions when it was necessary.
We've had excellent service right from the manager down to the caregiver and couldn't have asked for anything more. We would recommend this company 100% - Many many thanks.

We are so pleased to have discovered this excellent, compassionate care company. They have been caring for my 95-year-old mum for five months now and have never found any request too much trouble. They manage the cleaning and prepare the lunch as well as spend some very important social time with her,
even taking her out on one occasion, the first time since Covid struck. We would be happy to unreservedly recommend this company.

From the first time I got in touch with Right at Home, the service from the beginning has been unbelievable. My husband and I couldn't have asked for a more caring and wonderful team of people who are caring for my mother-in-law. She enjoys seeing the carers when they go in, they treat her with respect.

Five-star service where staff went above and beyond to care for our parents during the week when we were unable to be with them. In my experience, the Manager and her team have been absolutely outstanding since my father started needing care some 9 months ago. This company is large enough to offer exemplary administration but small enough to take the time for the personal attention, detail, and information that make both my father
and I completely confident in their care. For me, the vagaries of caring for an ageing relative have thrown up some daunting situations and the Manager and the team have been able to offer considered and expert advice. I really couldn’t be happier and would have no hesitation in offering my unreserved recommendation.

Right At Home stepped in to provide cover care over Christmas after we'd been let down by another company at the last minute. They were terrific. Despite the time of year, everything was sorted out in 48 hours and they were responsive and flexible throughout. The management team went to great lengths
to ensure they provided carers to fit my father's needs and were always on hand if we had any queries. The carers themselves were excellent. I wish we'd gone to them in the first place - we definitely will next time.

Having recently had my parents relocate from the south coast to be near me in Felixstowe, I was a little concerned about the change in care providers, but without cause. We have 2 incredible caregivers. One doing daytime visits 3 times a week and one 3 evenings a week to help Dad with showering and
shaving (male carer). Absolutely brilliant service.

We approached the manager and her team when Mum needed care in her own home, their response was extremely quick and efficient with a team of caregivers being introduced to Mum and initial care package put in place less than 48 hours after our first telephone call. The Right at Home team made an immediate
and very valuable difference for Mum and the family, spending quality time with her to ensure her safety and well-being. When it became clear that Mum's care needs were greater than expected, the team again responded brilliantly going out of their way to provide additional visits and sleep-in care. Their highly professional, caring and trustworthy approach, supported by excellent care plans and communication with the family, was a huge help. The level of care provided was exceptional and we would have no hesitation in asking Right at Home to provide further care whenever it is needed.

I’m Claire Percy, Owner and Managing Director at Right at Home Ipswich, Woodbridge and Felixstowe.


As the Owner and Director of Care with our former Hampshire-based home care service, I was proud to lead our team to an ‘Outstanding’ rating in 2016. At the time just 2% of home care providers were awarded this rating. The regulator said there was ‘a model of personalised and compassionate care, which was a golden thread that ran through the whole of the service.’


I was an Inspector for the Care Quality Commission when we moved to Suffolk in 2018. We were again awarded an 'Outstanding' rating for Right at Home Ipswich, Woodbridge and Felixstowe in 2022 and we're so proud of our team and their commitment to being the best. It is my privilege to work alongside the best Caregiver and office team! There are some amazing individuals in the caring sector, and it feels like they work with us:)!

Job Title: Owner Joined: 2020

I’m Bill Percy, Owner and Director at Right at Home, providing high-quality home care to our clients in Ipswich, Woodbridge and Felixstowe.


My previous roles have been within the corporate drug testing sector; as a Healthcare Manager; and supporting those with learning disabilities. I enjoy delivering Dementia Awareness Workshops to healthcare professionals, voluntary groups and family carers. I’m also a Dementia Champion.


I was motivated to join the home care sector in 2011 after my Mother was diagnosed with dementia. I could see there was a greater need for high-quality person-centred companionship and care, and was proud to be co-founder of a Hampshire-based homecare service for older adults which was awarded an ‘Outstanding’ rating in 2016.


After moving to Suffolk with co-Director Claire, we launched Right at Home, Ipswich, Woodbridge and Felixstowe. We’re excited to be recruiting and training a growing team of compassionate CareGivers. To us, it’s essential to support those in our community, offering each and every person the best care and support whilst promoting their independence.

Catherine Denny

Job Title: Registered Manager Joined: 2021

I'm the Registered Manager with Right at Home Ipswich, Woodbridge and Felixstowe. I joined the team as a Caregiver, a role I feel very passionately about.


I progressed from Deputy Care Manager to Care Manager, and am now proud to be Registered Manager, with responsibility for the management and leadership of Right at Home Ipswich Woodbridge and Felixstowe.


My role is varied from day to day! My responsibilities include Caregiver and office team support, training and development. I also oversee compliance by ensuring we assess and involve clients in their care planning, we conduct regular reviews for clients, and support meetings for our Caregivers.


I am studying for my Level 5 in Health and Social Care Leadership.


I have a daughter, dogs, cats and fish! We love animals in our home! I have three sisters and we’re all very close, family is very important to me.

I'm Stacey, Client Services Coordinator with Right at Home Ipswich, Woodbridge and Felixstowe. I joined in March 2022 as a Caregiver, and progressed to a field-based compliance role, supporting the team in ensuring we are fully compliant.


My role is all about communicating with our amazing Caregivers, clients and their family representatives, and matching Caregivers with our clients.


I also actively spend time in the community, getting to know our local support services for older adults, and speaking with them about Right at Home and the Outstanding care we offer.

I’ve been working with Right at Home Ipswich Woodbridge and Felixstowe since 2021 as a Caregiver, and progressed to Field Compliance Coordinator, and then Care Administrator. I conduct client service reviews, help support the Caregiver Team and ensure our clients' support plans up to date and relevant, so we are safe and fully compliant.


I’ve worked in many settings gaining knowledge of people’s needs and enjoy all aspects of my role, especially knowing I’ve helped someone in need.


I have been married for 20 years and have 3 teenage boys. My spare time is spent looking after my 4 dogs (and a new parrot!) and spending time with my family.

I'm Tammy and I have been with Right at Home Ipswich, Woodbridge and Felixstowe since December 2023. I started as a Caregiver and moved to the office Team in February 2025 as Recruitment and Compliance Coordinator. I have experience in various roles from care in the community, Human Resources to many administrative roles. I've provided care to family members as well as the community here in Suffolk, and also when I lived in Scotland.


In my role with Right at Home, I'm responsible for supporting new Caregivers through the recruitment process. I also coordinate Caregiver compliance to help ensure our staff are fully compliant in their role.
