Visiting Angels – Cambridgeshire deliver Quality at Home Care.

They provide minimum one hour calls because a quality service can not be rushed, and companionship comes as standard.

They offer Free care assessments with no obligation, so that you can experience the quality of their service, and how they listen to your needs, before making a commitment.

Each individual client gets to choose their caregiver, who is always matched according to client needs, interests and hobbies. This is done to ensure a positive long-term relationship, building a strong bond and trust, for the Caregiving Angel that you let into you home.

They provide everything from companionship and personal care, for older people, and those with dementia and Alzheimer's disease. They also provide home care to people with palliative needs and end of life care.

The Cambridgeshire branch has five teams serving all communities across the county, from St Neots to Kirtling, and Ely to Melbourn. Teams include: Huntingdon, St Neots, St Ives, Ely, Cambridge, and Fulbourne.

My Mother is 92 and lives in St Neots, I contacted The Angels over 2 years ago, and they always send the same Angels who my Mum likes, they have 'never' let us down, and they are always on time.
They help with showering my Mum, taking her out in her wheelchair around the shops and they stock up on
essentials, doing her washing, and taking away from me a lot of worry. I highly recommend them.

Visiting Angels have provided an excellent service to my mother. The care assistants are friendly and helpful, spending time with my mother to put her at ease. It gives me and my family great peace of mind knowing she is well cared for when we are not able to go in to see her.

Top-notch. Anticipates my every need. Always cheerful and extremely helpful. And a real dab hand at ironing! Always reliable and extremely good at doing the washing and changing beds. Does all the messy stuff like cleaning out the fire, getting in the coal, and logs. Can even Sew. One extremely important
thing for me is that the main carer is always there for me and there is no last-minute swapping or other carers.

I moved my mother's homecare to Visiting Angels 6 months ago. The difference it has made to her health, her moods and the cleanliness of her flat has been significant, in fact amazing. Visiting Angels have provided excellent daily care for Mum for over 2 years.
Needs have changed over this period and have always been carefully and professionally considered by the registered care manager before implementation. Communication with the registered care manager, Supervisors and Carers
is very good.
Carers undertake a number of tasks each morning and evening, they do so diligently, effectively and with great care. Mum enjoys the carer's visits and their companionship. Carers are very good with some being truly exceptional - all are part of team Mum!
Would we recommend Visiting Angels? Yes. Have we recommended Visiting Angels, yes.

Love the family feel to this team. When Mum had a fall when we were abroad on holiday, Visiting Angels couldn't have been kinder and were so fast in their response to our needs. Care staff are so kind, good-humoured and helpful. As her care needs have grown, we were confident to ask them for more help
with her independent living. They are great, so glad we found them.

We have been using Visiting Angels Cambridge/Huntingdon for two years to look after my father who has dementia. They provided daily companionship and care during the week, taking him out to various venues and clubs while he lived with us. Sadly he has had to move into a care home as he needs twenty-four
hour care now. Seeing the level of care he gets in the home compared with Visiting Angels we are very glad he was able to enjoy these two years of a more fulfilling life than he has now. The friendship and care the Angels staff gave to him was excellent. Because he had the same carers regularly they knew what he wanted when he couldn't express it in words. I strongly recommend using Visiting Angels.

I have found my carer to be a great help to me. She is friendly and empathetic, always on time and nothing is too much trouble. I like the fact that my carer does not wear a uniform so it feels more personal when we shop together. She has time to have a cup of tea with me before she leaves, something
that adds to the personal touch. I don't feel rushed or that she is in a hurry to leave.

Both my wife and myself find the ladies that visit us very pleasing. They take my wife for small walks and also help her bathe, talk on any subjects and bring sunshine to her and brighten up her life.

I cannot recommend this company highly enough. All the carers go that extra mile for Mum. They're always prompt and on time, never fail to make Mum smile and do whatever is needed to keep her comfortable and happy. We did use a different care company a few months ago, but this one is in a different
league. I know Mum is in safe hands. The carers always write notes that I can access, so I can check if she's OK if I'm away. Very happy with this company.
