Five star - very happy with Serve Homecare. The team leader has shown amazing care towards my mum, even though the dementia is becoming difficult. The director always sorts carers out and is well organised. To all staff and carers, thank you. Mum says she loves you all.

The carers that look after my mum are very kind and considerate and always bring any issues to my attention.

We have been using the cleaning service for over six months now and we’re really happy with the service. The cleaning is always done to a very high standard and covers all areas we have asked. The staff are always really friendly and do an excellent job, particularly the quality and compliance lead.

I, as the client's wife, have come to rely on our carer. I don’t know how I could manage without her now. She enables me to get my day off to a decent start, taking away the hassle of having to prepare my husband for his day. I have nothing but praise for giving us both a cheerful start to our day.

I have cared for my mother for the past 6 years, doing everything for her. However, following a fall, she became unable to weight bare so I needed to have carers to come in. I was concerned about handing over some of her care to an outside agency, but I need not have worried. The carers are wonderful
- caring, kind, gentle with Mum and work hard to help her understand what they are doing. They are always cheerful, pleasant and hard working. I am so pleased that we decided to use Serve Homecare.

This is my first experience of having carers to help with my daily routine. I have been attended to by quite a few different carers, and for the most part they have done a reasonable job. Some however do rather less than others, not that that has become a problem, but it's a pity that a consistent standard
hasn't been achieved. Overall, I have enjoyed their company and conversation while they carry out their caring duties. I will miss my daily contact with them when my contract comes to an end.

Can't thank your staff enough for everything they did for my mother in her last days. Not only did they go above and beyond, but made her last days better for not only her but for us a family too. They were a great comfort and support for us during a very difficult time. Cannot fault the service at

My mum returned home after a 5-week stay in hospital with a care plan in place.
The care provided to both my mum and partner was brilliant, especially when her partner was taken into hospital. I knew my mum was being well looked after.
All the people we met were so friendly and genuine and took the
time to talk with my mum.

Serve Homecare do a fantastic job in really difficult circumstances! We have a double up team that attend our mother four times a day, seven days a week. I can honestly say that in my experience, whenever I’ve met the team, they go above and beyond and provide excellent care to our mother.

Serve Homecare have been taking care of my mum at home since August when she was discharged from Addenbrookes on a palliative care package. From before the actual discharge to delivering care, Serve Homecare has been attentive and has engaged with us at every step of the way. Everyone, including the
manager, the people who answer the phone and those who deliver the care, are amazing. Serve Homecare truly puts the service user and their family at the heart of all they do. Their openness and availability at all times, together with a whole family approach, is what makes their care genuinely person-centred. My mum could not be in better hands.

Dad got into a bit of an emergency between care calls. No immediate carers available, so care coordinators came out of office on their lunch break to help us manage and solve the issues and get Dad back to bed and settled. Absolute stars, both of them.

We started using Careserve in June after Mum was left disabled and needing care. The team have been so attentive to Mum's needs and has navigated around various issues to help us get the right care and equipment in place for Mum.
The carers show empathy and when faced with situations, take it in their
stride to work through the issues to make Mum comfortable. They have been great in forming a bond with all of us and have the confidence to make suggestions which are beneficial for Mum's care.

The service provided fell well short of a professional care provider. Contract issues arose before and after my mum went into the hospital. Serve Homecare was unable to change care needs as it wasn't compatible with their staffing schedules. The contract was cancelled due to further notice until my
mother was discharged.
Nevertheless, she was charged a cancellation of £435 after phone negotiation instead of £870 because Serve Homecare was unable to provide two carers for two slots Monday and Tuesday instead of seven days a week full time. They were unable to prioritise my mother's care needs as it wasn't compatible with their schedule. Whilst mum was in A&E with sepsis we were charged two cancellation fees as 48 hrs notice wasn't given.
Their communication was non-existent either by phone or email in two months of care. They were very prompt to email any invoices. The level of care provided from the Agency is incompatible with the level expected from a professional care provider.

I apologise if you feel these terms and conditions are unfair and not as expected, but the terms and conditions were outlined to you and accepted by you and confirmed by a signed contract.


During our phone conversation on 22nd August 2023, you highlighted again Serve Homecare did not have the capacity to support with two visits a week, to which I informed you if you had flexibility for a later time, then this is something we could review once she returned from hospital, to which you agreed and stated you would keep us informed on discharge should your mother return home.


As a gesture of goodwill, not only did Serve Homecare reduce your notice period from 28 day’s to 14, given the circumstances, but I personally further reduced your final bill by a further 50%. Reducing your total bill to 25% to support further.

I am really pleased with the service I have received from Serve Homecare. Whenever I call the office, it is like I am speaking to family and everyone is very helpful. As for the carers who come to my mum, they really look after her. They are kind and caring and will go out of their way in the tasks
that they do. It is a relief knowing my mum, who is going on one hundred and two years old, is cared for this way. Her family love her very much and only want what is best for her.

All carers are friendly, caring thoughtful to my husband and myself. They also keep me informed on what is going on with him - if anything changes with him bodily-wise.
Sometimes concerned about allocated times of visits, but usually, we can cope.
As we hadn't had a contract, we didn't know about
double charges on Bank Holidays, so were a bit surprised. Also not being able to have 15 min call when only the visit (meant tines) usually 10 mins.
