Dad got into a bit of an emergency between care calls. No immediate carers available, so care coordinators came out of office on their lunch break to help us manage and solve the issues and get Dad back to bed and settled. Absolute stars, both of them.

Nevertheless, she was charged a cancellation of £435 after phone negotiation instead of £870 because Serve Homecare was unable to provide two carers for two slots Monday and Tuesday instead of seven days a week full time. They were unable to prioritise my mother's care needs as it wasn't compatible with their schedule. Whilst mum was in A&E with sepsis we were charged two cancellation fees as 48 hrs notice wasn't given.
Their communication was non-existent either by phone or email in two months of care. They were very prompt to email any invoices. The level of care provided from the Agency is incompatible with the level expected from a professional care provider.
I apologise if you feel these terms and conditions are unfair and not as expected, but the terms and conditions were outlined to you and accepted by you and confirmed by a signed contract.

I am really pleased with the service I have received from Serve Homecare. Whenever I call the office, it is like I am speaking to family and everyone is very helpful. As for the carers who come to my mum, they really look after her. They are kind and caring and will go out of their way in the tasks that they do. It is a relief knowing my mum, who is going on one hundred and two years old, is cared for this way. Her family love her very much and only want what is best for her.

Overall, the experience has been appreciated. Care and consideration has been universal. Some variation of styles of care, but respect always felt. Three carers have been excellent and the care supervision has been highly appreciated; very professional and supportive.

Sometimes concerned about allocated times of visits, but usually, we can cope.
As we hadn't had a contract, we didn't know about double charges on Bank Holidays, so were a bit surprised. Also not being able to have 15 min call when only the visit (meant tines) usually 10 mins.
Carers get the job done despite being sometimes against the clock due to travel time.
Any questions are always dealt with in a very timely manner with good outcomes.

I cannot fault any of the services provided to my mother by Serve Homecare. The initial phone call put my mind at ease after having another company that O was dissatisfied with, the interview to assess my mum was polite and caring, and I knew straight away my mum was going to have the best care. The careers that came in were polite and caring, introduced themselves to my mum and asked how she was. Every time they came in, they told her everything they were about to do and did it with so much love and care; I knew from the start my mu knew she was in safe hands. The carers pointed out everything they thought needed to be addressed, and action was taken straight away. Not only did they take care of my mum, but they also made sure I was alright, especially when my mum passed; they didn't hesitate to come back to make sure I was on and wasn't on my own. Well done, Serve Homecare. I would recommend you to anyone that needed a loved one taken care of.

Members of staff were helpful.
There was an issue with the time of the carer's arrival for the service, sometimes too early or late.

Carers have been excellent for both parents. Improvements have been seen already in their health and welfare. The friendly faces and cheery disposition has been very welcomed by both. Hints, trips and observations have been much received by the family.

The care Mum has received has been of a very high standard, and Mum saw the carers as friends. They have lifted her spirits during periods when she has been quite anxious and have worked with my dad to support my mum.
I have found the payment system very efficient and have had no problems.
The staff are very polite, caring and well presented.

Because our mum's dementia has taken away many opportunities for social interaction, she has been regularly visited by a carer several times a week in recent months. The carers are professional, encouraging, caring ladies who take the time to sit and engage with her and who provide her with a friendly face that she recognises and is happy to see. The carers also provide help with her personal care, which is much appreciated.

In general, the overall care is very good. The main problem we have is the rota as the times and the carer change, but the client is not notified, and we then end up contacting home service to find out why the carer is late.

Currently experiencing very good, efficient and sympathetic care. Very easy to contact the office to talk through problems, issues or questions. The staff are lovely. All of them are well-trained, very knowledgeable, caring and accommodating. All in all, a good experience so far.

My wife changed from having one visit a day to four, each with two carers following a spell in the hospital; happily, the care, attention and kindness she had previously experienced continued despite many new faces and ages. The carers, without exception, are respectful, kind and cheerful, so each visit is as pleasant an experience as is possible in the circumstances.

Service provided each day has been great and much appreciated. Very, very friendly and chatty carers who help both of us. Always know within reason when they will be coming, so also helps with managing other "jobs" around the calls.

Two particular carers have been very good and professional at all times, they are both very patient with Mum, and it's a pleasure hearing them talk and work with Mum to get her to do as she is told; both are a credit to the company.
All the carers I have seen have been understanding and helpful; the team on the end of the phone are always very helpful and acknowledges some of us don't understand the process of caring and are finding some days hard.

My mother enjoyed friendly and helpful service from the staff during the time we employed the company. Also, the management and admin staff were great and accommodating our needs thoughtfully and flexibly. Well done!
