I highly recommend this agency! And we often thank them for all the care they provide, which at times has gone above and beyond what is expected.
Thank you so much for your kind words. As our mission statement is "helping you stay well at home," all our staff go above and beyond to achieve this which gives me great satisfaction and confidence that all our training, and support is being put to good use. Once again thank you.
My husband was cared for by Nyadowa Care until his dementia got worse, and he moved into a care home. The manager was brilliant and very honest. If carers were running late, she would come and help to ensure my husband was helped at the time we had requested. The carers were amazing, very humble, caring, and well-educated. I was a teacher myself, and we spoke about a wide range of subjects, which they found engaging with my husband and me. I would like to recommend the manager and her team to anyone out there. I will definitely be calling on them again when the time comes for me. thank you so much for all you do.
I also use Nyadowa Care for 5 hours respite for me. The same carer, who does my husband's personal care stays for the two 2 and a half hour sessions, playing games, conversing and keeping him alert and happy.. I have found the continuity very good and this is important to my husband and also to me in knowing that I am leaving him in good hands when I am not there. I have found that if there have been any minor problems I have been able to contact the service and anything arising has been dealt with promptly.
We like to know the names of the carers. I understand that they are being provided with new name badges.
Nyadowa service is excellent and they always do their best to accommodate any additional requirements such as additional care when I was going to be out all day.
I would recommend Nyadowa to others needing their service.
The carer has established a very sound relationship with my godmother, based on her extremely caring approach. She trusts her as well and is very fond of her and confident in her approach. The carer is able to persuade her to do what is good for her, even if she doesn't want to! As she becomes more frail the carer has adapted her care using her initiative and has recommended different adaptations, which have improved life for my godmother. She is practical and willing to help in every way. She is also informative, keeping us up to date as her condition changes. We are very pleased that she is in her care.
The apartment is always neat and tidy and she encourages the service user to always eat and drink fluid which is very important.
Very good service and carers are very kind and good and will do anything to help as long as they have time. We have been receiving care from the company since I came out of the rehabilitation centre at Potter Bar after fracturing my left ankle (which is my good leg) in Devon and having covid a year ago. We both have cerebral Palsy and used to help each other out but now I use a stick I find it difficult to help my husband and use the stick so the carer can help him as well as me. They also help shower, dress and help me on the commode especially when I am unsteady. They also help me in and out of bed and onto the commode. The carers can be a bit late sometimes but it is usually when the traffic is bad or they have been held up at a previous client.
Mum’s discharge from the hospital after a 9-week stay was always going to be a challenge but thankfully we fell lucky with the care company who delivered her care plan.
From the start carers were on time and professional, accurately managing medication, access, individual needs and above all care and companionship.
The app provided me with constant reassurance and detailed the care Mum was getting, the reports were accurate and reflected the care and relationship they soon built up. On occasions, I met the carers and they all were good caring people whom I was confident Mum was in safe hands.
Yes, you’ve guessed it I highly recommend this team.
Excellent care and attention to detail. My Mother has Dementia and the care she has received since April has been outstanding. Minute of detail observed. And medical care is outstanding. Felt extremely supported throughout. Both when visiting and at a distance over the phone. Excellent communication. And an online care update available for every visit.
I needed some care arranged at very short notice for my elderly father. The manager came to see us the next day and assured us they could help. A couple of days later she started to visit twice a day and brought along a male carer as well to hand over to. Six weeks on, we are extremely happy with the care provided not only to my dad but helping and supporting my mum as well. On a few occasions, mum has called the manager for urgent care for dad or an errand to run and she has always come as soon as possible. She has also helped with household chores without being asked while there. The male carer provides dad with personal care and helps him to have a little walk around the house each day and the manager visits regularly too. Overall, we are really happy with the care Nyadowa Care provides as they have relieved a lot of the pressure on the family and we are very comfortable with them looking after our parents.
Thank you for taking the time to give us feedback, much appreciated.
I was in a panic to find care for my grandmother who had been discharged from hospital after a fall. We all work and my mum was away on holiday when nana decided to fall. We contacted Nyadowa Care and the manager was so helpful. She handled the whole process so professionally and was very patient with us. I just wanted someone to go in straight away but the manager insisted on getting consent from nana and speaking to my nana before she could offer any solutions. All in all, we are very happy, and couldn’t have wished for a better company to help nana. She calls us telling stories of what she has done and the stories from her carer. They are such a breath of fresh air for my nana.
Thank you for taking the time to send us feedback, and we love hearing nana's stories too.
I needed some assistance with personal care and Nyadowa Care was recommended to me. They found a young man to help me who is a perfect match, as he is from Italy, a country that I know and love well! He and the other staff I have seen are all patient and helpful, and when l call the office nothing is too much to ask. I know they are a newish company and as I see this is their first review here, I am happy to definitely recommend them.
Thank you for taking the time to write a review, we appreciate your kind words.
