Following our previous review, I wanted to acknowledge the exceptional care Millfield provided in the final months of our dear neighbour's life. As her needs became more complex and she required palliative support, the team showed remarkable compassion, sensitivity, and dedication-particularly during a time when support from standard services was often limited and inconsistent.
They were not only attentive during home visits but also went above and beyond in maintaining continuity of care during hospital admissions, offering reassurance at every stage. In her final days at home, the level of support and presence they provided brought immense comfort-not only to her, but to those around her.
Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine humanity ensured she was treated with dignity and respect throughout. We are deeply grateful for the care they provided at such an important time.
Prompt, efficient + friendly service over the last three years. Always good response to any phone calls to the office.
They were so patient with her and helped her in anyway they could.
They travelled a long way to see her on public transport and sometimes only stayed 20 mins which showed their dedication.
I would recommend them
I am generally pleased overall with the level of care provided. The carers are kind, friendly and respect my husband's dignity. The only problem I have is their reliance on public transport, which can cause one or both carers to be late.

Staff were very friendly and supportive to my dad’s personal care needs, always arriving promptly and often early. They kept thorough and accurate record keeping of the tasks they undertook and the medication they administered. Would throughly recommend.

Well, my mother was very anti having carers, but she really had no choice. So many to choose from, and who do you choose? Phoned Millfield and they were very helpful, came to meet my mother, with a carer, and after they had gone, she was much happier. She had to have a carer all day and a waking carer at night, so a lot of time for them to be with her. It all worked really well - my mother really liked the carers and their company. They were always smiling, but so caring as well. I have to say that I, my sisters and brother, really enjoyed their company too. They kept in contact with us, and kept in contact with the doctor's surgery and any other health professionals they needed to. I would recommend them to anyone else.
Some days are better than other days. But on the whole very good and kind and understanding.
Millfield Healthcare Services have been looking after my mother-in-law for some time now. What I really appreciate is knowing the carers are going in to look after her 4 times a day and making sure she is cared for in her own home. My mother-in-law is nearly 99 and wanted to live as independently as possible. Millfield Healthcare services have made this possible. I really appreciate being able to contact the manager directly so any queries or concerns can be dealt with promptly. The only gripe is that the carers bring a lot of mud in on shoes so if they could take them off! Otherwise all very good.
I have found the level of service, compassion and empathy shown by all of the staff that care for mum to be exemplary and cannot recommend them highly enough.
Senior management are readily available with an absolute can do attitude, nothing is ever too much trouble and as a whole Millfield are incredibly supportive during this very sad and difficult stage of my mums life.
They have been carers to a friend for some time. This care agency has been very helpful and supportive and in instances going beyond their remit. Their response to queries are professional and dealt with promptly. Carers are polite and prompt.
The care which my partner received from Millfield Healthcare was exemplary. All staff members went above and beyond the care which they provided for my partner. We could not have asked for anything more. They were all such caring and kind people in every way. They also supported us as a family.
Very happy with my mum's carer, and my mum is too. She is very patient with her and caring towards my mum. We are very happy with the service. When my mum was in hospital the manager phoned me and checked that she was ok and visited her which I thought was very kind of her.
