General service care is good.Staff are pleasant and approachable, however there is a serious lack within office organisation regarding an individual 's personal requests for call timings.messages etc are pleasantly received, but lack of implementing the messages is sadly lacking. A serious view must
be taken of this shortcoming, tightening up the office day to day efficiency through ,A system of recording incoming requests, with recipients identity and action taken recorded, would be helpful.

When the time comes in your life that you have to chose a care provider for your parents, you're looking for people to trust to be caring, kind and considerate and look after your loved ones as you may not be into the position to do so.
I found Honey Suckle to be very supportive and helpful, Jo who
is the owner of a family run business is not only still hands on when she doesn't need to be but has a personal connection with her clients to ensure they receive the best possible care they need.
I feel relieved my Dad has Honey Suckle careers looking after him and know he is being treated with respect & dignity

The care my husband has received from Honeysuckle has been excellent. The carers have treated him with dignity and love and have been so caring towards me, making sure at all times that I am ok and what my needs are. There has been many times when they have given me a cuddle and kind words that has

Honeysuckle Homecare have been absolutely fantastic in the care the have delivered to my Nan following her admission to hospital. Each carer that attended Nan whilst she settled back home treated her with the upmost dignity and respect and nothing was ever to much trouble, the standard of training these
carers recieve reflects how they treat their clients. A special mention to the office staff who facilitated a quick turn around in order for us to get nan back home where she wanted to be. Once again as a family we can't thank you enough and will certainly be using you again should Nan need you.

I am very happy with all the carers who visit my husband to help him with dressing & washing and all the others who' sit with him while I do other things.Plus the all the offers of help for myself
My husband is very confused (he has dementia) he would like consistency, but having said that the team
always will change times & days happily to suit our needs. I have health problems myself, so I know I can rely on Honeysuckles to help when I have hospital or doctors appointments

Honeysuckle are wonderful. They cared for my Dad from June to October this year when he unfortunately passed away.
Every member of staff was professional friendly, supportive, compassionate and did everything in their power to make Dad's last few months as comfortable as possible. They were so caring
towards my Mum too!
Communication with them and the Admin staff was excellent!
Some of his Carers came to pay their respects which was lovely and very much appreciated.
We cannot fault their care and would recommend them 100% for anyone needing support.

We have found honeysuckle staff friendly, professional, caring and very concerned for client and carers.
All carers exercise high degree of care, carry out instructions as agreed. They are well trained in their role and attentive to changes in their clients situations. .Usually keep to time as shown
on their timesheet.

I would like to recommend Honeysuckle Care. Both my parents have been cared for, by all the fantastic caring carers, unfortunately dad has passed away. Mum is very happy with her care. Carers are always very caring, supportive, compassionate, reliable, trustworthy have empathy, very professional and
give 100%.
If I do have a query or a problem it is dealt with swiftly.

My Mum and I had been caring for my Dad in his final months when our palliative nurse recommended Honeysuckle. They were incredibly professional and helped us create a care plan that eased our worries. From the start, the staff were both professional and compassionate. They cared for Dad with tenderness,
and their kindness to my Mum was invaluable. They made Dad feel comfortable during their visits and their friendly jokes kept him at ease. The palliative care provided by a staff member and her team was exceptional. In the final hours of Dad's life, the staff member asked if we'd like to give him a shave. This simple gesture meant so much to us, leaving Dad looking fresh and clean. It was also incredibly touching when the team came to pay their respects at Dad's funeral and gave Mum and I a big hug. Honeysuckle came into our lives during one of the toughest times, and we can't thank them enough. Their kindness, professionalism, and support made a world of difference, and we'll forever be grateful.

They are all, without exception, simply exceptional carers for my mother . They work hard and always give her the time she needs and often go the extra mile without being asked to. Jo’s passion for her family and delivering high-quality person-centred care to those in need led her to open Honeysuckle Home Care Ltd with her children, Lucy and Sam, where family truly is at the heart of everything we do at Honeysuckle Home Care.

Lucy Crewe

I co-founded Honeysuckle Home Care alongside my brother, Sam, and our mother, Joanna — someone I continue to look up to every day. Her resilience, dedication to excellence, and unwavering commitment to delivering the highest standards of care have not only shaped our company’s values but have also been a constant source of inspiration in my own personal and professional growth.


Encouraged by Joanna, I began my career in care at the age of 17. Thrown into the deep end, I found myself supporting end-of-life clients early on — an experience that was both humbling and profoundly rewarding. It was then that I realised I had found my true calling. So, when we made the decision to establish Honeysuckle, it felt only natural that I would step into the role of Care Director. My ambition was, and remains, to ensure that every individual who chooses Honeysuckle experiences exceptional, person-centred care from their very first visit through to the end of their journey with us.


Now with over seven years of experience in the sector, I continue to learn and evolve every day. Remaining current in the ever-changing landscape of health and social care is a responsibility I take seriously — not only for myself, but for the dedicated team I lead. In my role, I oversee the coordination of client rosters, ensuring they are delivered accurately and reflect both the personal preferences of our clients and the care plans tailored specifically to their needs.


What I value most is the opportunity to work alongside my family and an incredible team of colleagues who share the same passion for quality care. Each day brings purpose, challenges, and the privilege of making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we support — and that, to me, is the true heart of Honeysuckle.

Carren Buckland

Job Title: Training Manager Joined: 2021

With over 20 years of experience in the Health and Social Care sector, I have had the privilege of working across a variety of settings, gaining valuable insight into the diverse needs of individuals and the importance of truly person-centred care. Throughout my career, I’ve developed a strong passion for ensuring that high-quality care is consistently delivered, and I believe that access to robust training and effective quality assurance processes is fundamental to achieving this at all levels.


I hold a range of qualifications that support me in guiding others through their professional development. I originally joined Honeysuckle Home Care Ltd as the full-time Training and Compliance Manager, a role that aligned perfectly with my dedication to empowering staff through learning. While I now mentor Rebecca in this position, I continue to serve as Honeysuckle’s First Aid Trainer and currently hold the role of Deputy Manager.


I am also working closely with Joanna, who is mentoring me as I prepare to take on the role of Registered Manager later this year. My aim is to help ensure Honeysuckle remains a responsive, forward-thinking organisation within the ever-evolving health and social care landscape, while also strengthening and developing our internal training programme to further support our team’s growth and confidence.


My focus remains on driving excellence in care through education, mentorship, and a shared commitment to quality — values that are at the heart of Honeysuckle’s mission.

Samuel

Samuel Crewe

I co-founded Honeysuckle Home Care Ltd alongside my mother, Joanna, and my sister, Lucy. At just 16 years old, I was stepping into an industry I knew little about, but I was fortunate to have strong guidance and a clear ethos to follow. Joanna instilled in me early on that “you can’t command respect unless you’re prepared to do the same job as the carers.” With that in mind, my first year at Honeysuckle was entirely focused on understanding what quality care delivery truly means — not from behind a desk, but by working alongside our dedicated care team and learning directly from their experience.


Since those early days, I’ve grown into my role as Finance Director, where I now manage the accounts for over 100 clients and oversee payroll for more than 50 members of staff. It’s a demanding position, especially as the business continues to grow, but I am fortunate to be supported by a strong, values-driven team and exceptional mentors who have shaped my professional journey.


Despite having several years of experience under my belt, I firmly believe that every day is still a school day. That mindset fuels my commitment to continuous improvement — both personally and across the organisation. After earning a diploma in Forensic Science, I began my career in funeral directing. Supporting families through emotionally challenging times and honouring the final wishes of their loved ones was a deeply fulfilling part of the role. After nearly four years in the industry, I began exploring new paths and, encouraged by my mum, considered a career in care.


In 2022, I joined Honeysuckle as a care worker. It quickly became clear that I had found the right fit — caring for clients in their own homes and ensuring their wishes were respected brought me immense satisfaction. Over the past three years, I’ve progressed through several roles within the organisation, including Employee Relations Officer and Client Relations Officer, and now serve as a Coordinator. My current role carries a range of responsibilities, with scheduling calls being a top priority.


Alongside my professional journey, I completed my Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care in January 2025, a great personal achievement, especially as I was also planning my wedding and working full-time.


Honeysuckle has supported me through many significant life events, and I’m deeply grateful for the continued encouragement and opportunities to grow within the company.

Originally from a small town in Mid Wales, I moved to Wiltshire 13 years ago and have built both a personal and professional life I’m incredibly proud of. One of my greatest accomplishments was travelling the world in 2011 — a six-month journey that took me to 19 countries and broadened my perspective in countless ways. My proudest achievement, however, is being a mum to my five-year-old son, Arthur, who is my absolute world. In 2019, I furthered my professional development by earning a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Health and Social Care.


With over 18 years of experience in the Health and Social Care industry, my journey began after starting out as a qualified lifeguard. I quickly realised my true calling was in care — a decision I’ve never regretted. Caring for vulnerable and elderly individuals is more than a job; it’s a privilege and a passion.


Today, I work in a senior role at Honeysuckle Home Care, where I focus on meeting with individuals to design and review their care packages. I take pride in ensuring every plan is truly person-centred and that we meet each client’s unique daily needs with compassion and respect.
