My mum had been in hospital, on coming home Honeysuckle Home Care team came into for my mum's care needs. Which from the beginning were very challenging as my mum had not had the best of care along the way. They have made my mum and myself feel at ease and her care needs have been met above and beyond
my expectation. I can highly recommend Honeysuckle Home Care for all care needs.
Reply from Joanna Lander, Registered Manager at Honeysuckle Home CareThank you for taking the time to complete our review, its a pleasure to be able to deliver the care your mum deserves.

The care given by Honeysuckle Home Care was excellent. They managed to keep my father cared for in his own home until his health made it necessary for him to move to a care home. I would have no hesitation recommending their service to anyone. Thank you to all who played a part in keeping him at home
until his 96th year as were his wishes.
Reply from Joanna Lander, Registered Manager at Honeysuckle Home CareThank you for your feedback, it was a pleasure to care for and support your dad so he could remain at home for as long as possible.

Had to complain about late calls and the amount of time given on some calls but after complaining this seems to be rectified. Also, invoices weren't given and ended up paying for two months at once.
Reply from Joanna Lander, Registered Manager at Honeysuckle Home CareThank you for your honest review which here at Honeysuckle we welcome, we are happy to hear that the timings of the calls have now been rectified and this issue is resolved. In relation to the invoices this feedback has been taken on board and we hope the new process of the office staff delivering your mum's contribution invoices have now resolved this issue. As always it's a pleasure to deliver care to your mum.

I cannot recommend Honeysuckle Home Care enough.
My grandmother was diagnosed with dementia two and a half years ago. Between our family, we have all been looking after her. As the dementia has progressed so has my grandmother's needs, it took our family a long time to convince my grandmother to allow
carers in. We started using Honeysuckle three months ago and they are absolutely fantastic! Very professional, it's taken a big weight off our family's shoulders knowing my grandmother enjoys their daily visits. They look after her so well. Five star service!

We have rapidly become involved in caring for our father since the traumatic loss of his partner. He wants to maintain his independent living so a little bit of regular assistance would be beneficial. Luckily we found Honeysuckle. From the first enquiry, we found Honeysuckle very professional and very
helpful. The staff are very friendly and caring and help Dad with medication, food, drinks, companionship, shopping, domestic tasks and more….
Honeysuckle are always gentle and has a friendly and warm manner with Dad. The management team have been incredibly helpful in keeping us updated via emails and phone calls. Dad has told us how much he enjoys the company of the people that look after him. Honeysuckle really do genuinely care about people and want to help. Thank you so much Honeysuckle for everything you do. We are very impressed with Honeysuckle and have no hesitation to recommend you to anyone.

We have been using Honeysuckle Home Care since December to care for my mother who is in the later stages of dementia. The care provided has been excellent, nothing is too much trouble and they have also given support to my father in helping with the feeding. They treat my mother with the utmost respect
and allow her to keep her dignity. All the carers are fantastic and I feel lucky we chose them to care for my mum.

We are so grateful to Honeysuckle Home Care for the way they have responded to our request for help to support my father in law when he himself was adamant that he didn’t need it.
Everyone we have dealt with has been competent, professional and compassionate, and my father in law now looks forward
to his daily visits.
Their approach has been spot on, and being able to see the daily notes on their app is so very useful.

I am pleased to have the opportunity to express our thanks to Honeysuckle Home Care Ltd for providing a very caring, professional service in delivering the much-needed quality care for my husband, on his recent discharge from Hospital a few months ago.
From my point of view, communication with the
carers and the office is also a much-needed part of being involved and are always on hand to offer advice. Feedback is important and is always given with empathy.
It is very reassuring to know that care and consideration during the daily visits is in good hands, for which we are so grateful.

I have used Honeysuckle Home Care for five weeks. My husband was discharged from hospital. He is visited 4 times per day. They arrive on time, treating him with great care and respect at all times. The staff are very helpful I would certainly recommend them.
Reply from Joanna Lander, Registered Manager at Honeysuckle Home CareThank you for your kind words. It was a pleasure to be able to get your husband home and for him to be cared for in the comfort of his own home and not residing in a nursing home as suggested by the hospital. We will continue to work hard to ensure he remains at home with you as I know this is something of great importance to you both.

I have used Honeysuckle Home Care since April 2021 for both parents and I must say what a fab team, they have helped me enormously through good and bad times and showed dignity and respect for both my mum and dad. We have had laughs and tears as sadly my dad passed in November but I will count them
all as friends. I had many care company's in before honeysuckle and I can honestly say they are the best around Wiltshire. Thank you for your care and support over the last year, and have happily recommended them to those that needed a quality home care company.

Honeysuckle Home Care reacted immediately to our request for urgent help for my husband's brother last summer and did a full assessment the following day with care commencing 2 days after that. Each of the carers who visited over 5 months was well trained respectful, kind and mindful of the need for
Covid security. Each took the trouble to speak to my brother in law valuing him as an individual not just as a client. Our request to increase visits was dealt with immediately and on the one occasion when we needed out of hours help it was provided immediately and much appreciated by us living 3 hours away. The staff went over and above with assistance eg buying a new kettle or a pint of milk to take to the house. We loved the app which enabled us to get a report daily after their visit. On admission to residential care, the team kindly cleaned throughout the bungalow and facilitated the move by doing Covid testing. Overall we were delighted and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company.

I am pleased to be able to leave a review for Honeysuckle Home Care. For several months they provided care for my terminally ill relative. The level of care given was exceptional, often under very difficult circumstances. My relative was confident that she was receiving the best care possible and looked
forward to the carers’ visits. Nothing was too much trouble and, as her next of kin, I was kept up to date with any problems that arose.
I live some distance away and was always contacted to make an extra visit if I was needed.
I am so grateful that when the time came I was called by the carers to be by my relative’s side. When it became clear that I was not going to be there in time two carers stayed with her until I arrived. They were very supportive to me and I am so extremely thankful for that. They have also contacted me since to check that I am doing ok.
I highly recommend Honeysuckle Care who will provide an excellent service to those in need of help at home.
Reply from Joanna Lander, Registered Manager at Honeysuckle Home CareThank you for our lovely review, It was a pleasure to deliver the care and an honour to be there until the end, I know her wish was not to die alone and we fulfilled that for her. Take care and keep in touch

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Home Care Provider is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.831 for Honeysuckle Home Care is calculated as follows: ( (200 Excellents x 5) + (25 Goods x 4) + (4 Satisfactorys x 3) + (2 Poors x 2) ) ÷ 231 Ratings = 4.831
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5').

    The 5 points available are broken down as follows: 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.5 Points for the second and third Positive Reviews, 0.25 Points for each of the next two Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3, 2nd = 0.5, 3rd = 0.5, 4th = 0.25, 5th = 0.25, 6th = 0.05, 7th = 0.05, 8th = 0.05, 9th = 0.05, 10th = 0.05, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025)

    The 5 points relating to the number of Positive Reviews for Honeysuckle Home Care is based on 39 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as follows: 3 + 0.5 + 0.5 + 0.25 + 0.25 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 5
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.

I co-founded Honeysuckle Home Care alongside my brother, Sam, and our mother, Joanna — someone I continue to look up to every day. Her resilience, dedication to excellence, and unwavering commitment to delivering the highest standards of care have not only shaped our company’s values but have also been a constant source of inspiration in my own personal and professional growth.

Encouraged by Joanna, I began my career in care at the age of 17. Thrown into the deep end, I found myself supporting end-of-life clients early on — an experience that was both humbling and profoundly rewarding. It was then that I realised I had found my true calling. So, when we made the decision to establish Honeysuckle, it felt only natural that I would step into the role of Care Director. My ambition was, and remains, to ensure that every individual who chooses Honeysuckle experiences exceptional, person-centred care from their very first visit through to the end of their journey with us.

Now with over seven years of experience in the sector, I continue to learn and evolve every day. Remaining current in the ever-changing landscape of health and social care is a responsibility I take seriously — not only for myself, but for the dedicated team I lead. In my role, I oversee the coordination of client rosters, ensuring they are delivered accurately and reflect both the personal preferences of our clients and the care plans tailored specifically to their needs.

What I value most is the opportunity to work alongside my family and an incredible team of colleagues who share the same passion for quality care. Each day brings purpose, challenges, and the privilege of making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we support — and that, to me, is the true heart of Honeysuckle.

Job Title: Training Manager Joined: 2021

With over 20 years of experience in the Health and Social Care sector, I have had the privilege of working across a variety of settings, gaining valuable insight into the diverse needs of individuals and the importance of truly person-centred care. Throughout my career, I’ve developed a strong passion for ensuring that high-quality care is consistently delivered, and I believe that access to robust training and effective quality assurance processes is fundamental to achieving this at all levels.

I hold a range of qualifications that support me in guiding others through their professional development. I originally joined Honeysuckle Home Care Ltd as the full-time Training and Compliance Manager, a role that aligned perfectly with my dedication to empowering staff through learning. While I now mentor Rebecca in this position, I continue to serve as Honeysuckle’s First Aid Trainer and currently hold the role of Deputy Manager.

I am also working closely with Joanna, who is mentoring me as I prepare to take on the role of Registered Manager later this year. My aim is to help ensure Honeysuckle remains a responsive, forward-thinking organisation within the ever-evolving health and social care landscape, while also strengthening and developing our internal training programme to further support our team’s growth and confidence.

My focus remains on driving excellence in care through education, mentorship, and a shared commitment to quality — values that are at the heart of Honeysuckle’s mission.

Job Title: Finance Director Joined: 2021

I co-founded Honeysuckle Home Care Ltd alongside my mother, Joanna, and my sister, Lucy. At just 16 years old, I was stepping into an industry I knew little about, but I was fortunate to have strong guidance and a clear ethos to follow. Joanna instilled in me early on that “you can’t command respect unless you’re prepared to do the same job as the carers.” With that in mind, my first year at Honeysuckle was entirely focused on understanding what quality care delivery truly means — not from behind a desk, but by working alongside our dedicated care team and learning directly from their experience.

Since those early days, I’ve grown into my role as Finance Director, where I now manage the accounts for over 100 clients and oversee payroll for more than 50 members of staff. It’s a demanding position, especially as the business continues to grow, but I am fortunate to be supported by a strong, values-driven team and exceptional mentors who have shaped my professional journey.

Despite having several years of experience under my belt, I firmly believe that every day is still a school day. That mindset fuels my commitment to continuous improvement — both personally and across the organisation. One of my core objectives is to ensure that Honeysuckle Home Care remains financially robust and well-positioned to invest in staff development, high-quality external training, and the tools needed to adapt to the ever-changing landscape of health and social care.

Ultimately, everything we do is centred around one goal: ensuring that every Honeysuckle client receives the highest standard of care, delivered by a confident, well-trained, and compassionate team.

Job Title: Care Coordinator Joined: 2022

After earning a diploma in Forensic Science, I began my career in funeral directing. Supporting families through emotionally challenging times and honouring the final wishes of their loved ones was a deeply fulfilling part of the role. After nearly four years in the industry, I began exploring new paths and, encouraged by my mum, considered a career in care.

In 2022, I joined Honeysuckle as a care worker. It quickly became clear that I had found the right fit — caring for clients in their own homes and ensuring their wishes were respected brought me immense satisfaction. Over the past three years, I’ve progressed through several roles within the organisation, including Employee Relations Officer and Client Relations Officer, and now serve as a Coordinator. My current role carries a range of responsibilities, with scheduling calls being a top priority.

Alongside my professional journey, I completed my Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care in January 2025, a great personal achievement, especially as I was also planning my wedding and working full time.

Honeysuckle has supported me through many significant life events, and I’m deeply grateful for the continued encouragement and opportunities to grow within the company.

Originally from a small town in Mid Wales, I moved to Wiltshire 13 years ago and have built both a personal and professional life I’m incredibly proud of. One of my greatest accomplishments was travelling the world in 2011 — a six-month journey that took me to 19 countries and broadened my perspective in countless ways. My proudest achievement, however, is being a mum to my five-year-old son, Arthur, who is my absolute world. In 2019, I furthered my professional development by earning a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Health and Social Care.

With over 18 years of experience in the Health and Social Care industry, my journey began after starting out as a qualified lifeguard. I quickly realised my true calling was in care — a decision I’ve never regretted. Caring for vulnerable and elderly individuals is more than a job; it’s a privilege and a passion.

Today, I work in a senior role at Honeysuckle Home Care, where I focus on meeting with individuals to design and review their care packages. I take pride in ensuring every plan is truly person-centred and that we meet each client’s unique daily needs with compassion and respect.
