Outstanding is the adjective for Honeysuckle. I contacted several care providers in January 2024 when my parents required 24-hour care for dementia and nursing. The professional assessment provided by Honeysuckle left me in doubt. Honeysuckle management are both professional and compassionate and they were able to advise on medical, financial, and emotional support. It is not easy to trust strangers in your parents' home, particularly when they have dementia, but my parents' care staff are beyond outstanding. My parents' every whim and need are met with professionalism and tenderness. I admire the support and patience the care staff have shown to my parents. Caring for dementia patients is a challenge and my parents' carers have the psychological know-how and love of their work to reassure us that our parents are in the most capable and caring hands. I am extremely grateful to the Honeysuckle management for providing me with such exceptional carers who I feel have become part of the family.

Thank you for your feedback, Live-in care can be very scary to venture into for clients but I'm so pleased you and your parents valued the service we provided but most of all your parents felt comfortable sharing their home with carers that soon became their friends.

Our neighbour started receiving care from the staff at Honeysuckle in January of this year. We are so grateful for their support. It has been a swift journey from full independence in August last year to almost immobility for our neighbour, whose family members are unable to support her. She is very happy with the care offered by Honeysuckle which has allowed her to live at home still.

In our experience, the Honeysuckle Care staff treat their clients with dignity, regardless of the somewhat difficult circumstances they may encounter. They are role models of how to respect the individual, always making time for their clients, as well as meeting their client's care needs. We have had to call 111 and the ambulance. The staff have in these situations and others have repeatedly gone above and beyond to support their client. We will be forever in their debt for everything they have done, as carers and working with us as a team to help guide us through this tricky journey.

Mum has been with Honeysuckle for about two years, first with two visits a day, then increasing to four visits a day as her needs changed. In September 2023, her needs changed again, and night care was introduced, but very quickly, we realised that that was not the answer to her needs. A full live-in carer was then put in place. Honeysuckle worked closely with me as I have Power of Attorney and made sure Mum's needs were met and the changes to the care were seamless, causing Mum no stress at any time. The care team have been fantastic, enabling Mum to stay in her own home with all her memories around her, as at this time in her life a care home would not work for her.

We cannot fault the service of Honeysuckle Care agency in the slightest. Our mum was discharged from hospital as she wished to pass away at home and the wonderful team at Honeysuckle allowed her to do so. They were incredibly professional, supportive and caring. Without a doubt, they made our mum’s last weeks easier and more joyful and the support they gave to us as a family was invaluable. We always felt that Mum was in the best of hands and their care was exemplary. Thank you to all the team at Honeysuckle for all they have done for us as a family.

Found the staff to be caring, they will phone me to inform me of any important issues regarding Mum.
Mum often comments that they are very good, even helping her with her stitchcraft if she is struggling.

Always ask her if she needs anything else done.

Honeysuckle is very professional and a well-organised care support provider. They have been excellent in providing support for my aunt who was really against receiving help after coming out of hospital. They showed compassion and patience at all times and would go above and beyond a call of duty. As I do not live close to my aunt Honeysuckle has provided me with regular updates and it is never a problem should I want to call the office at any time. The office staff that I have spoken to always have the latest information available. The out-of-office hours backup is absolutely amazing. Thank you.

Honeysuckle Care has been professional throughout our dealings with them, from setting up the support to following up on queries and checking all is running as planned. The carers turn up reliably, complete their tasks with efficiency whilst being kind, respectful, and friendly. My parents were very wary of receiving support but the approach of the two regular carers has put any qualms to rest. We have only used Honeysuckle Care for five weeks but I have been impressed with their service to date.

Honeysuckle carers have been amazing looking after my husband, everyone has been so helpful, the carers are caring towards him, always explain what they are doing, make sure he is comfy, if I tell them that he is in pain they are so gentle and take care, even when they have finished they will ask me is there anything they can help me with, I think they are a great team, always very polite and also it's so nice that we have a laugh together. I can’t thank them enough for what they do.

Honeysuckle Care continue to provide an excellent service for my mother. They are very receptive to any minor changes that need to be made to care plans and very flexible in their approach generally. The team of carers are professional, caring in nature and show a genuine interest in my mother’s emotional needs over and above what is on her care plan.

Honeysuckle Home Care literally swooped in and saved our lives. As a 24/7 family care provider for both parents in a trying situation, I really needed their help and my mums care requirements had increased.
As soon as Honeysuckle came to us, the empathy, care and supportiveness shone through. Every carer attending to mum was introduced and attentive prior to doing any care calls, and every one of them was/is lovely.
The carers are all kind, thoughtful, efficient, caring, and helpful. I always feel as though any concerns are listened to, respected and dealt with thoughtfully, effectively and with respect.
The office/management are available to us 24/7 via phone, email or text, and open to visit anytime weekdays within working hours.
Having worked as an NHS nurse and in elderly care over the last 40 years I can honestly say that Honeysuckle Home Care are exemplary.
We are extremely grateful to have them as all round care providers.

They also help to keep me sane which is priceless!

Jo has over 30 years of experience within the Health and Social Care Sector, starting her career journey as a care worker and progressing over the years to become the care director of a well-known national company, building an extensive knowledge of the sector along the way.

Jo’s passion for her family and delivering high-quality person-centred care to those in need led her to open Honeysuckle Home Care Ltd with her children, Lucy and Sam, where family truly is at the heart of everything we do at Honeysuckle Home Care.

Jo’s passion and drive for delivering high-quality person-centred care and helping others filter through to each staff member, ensuring that Honeysuckle Home Care truly is one big family, allowing both staff and clients to truly feel valued and a part of the Honeysuckle family.

I co-founded Honeysuckle Home Care alongside my brother, Sam, and our mother, Joanna — someone I continue to look up to every day. Her resilience, dedication to excellence, and unwavering commitment to delivering the highest standards of care have not only shaped our company’s values but have also been a constant source of inspiration in my own personal and professional growth.

Encouraged by Joanna, I began my career in care at the age of 17. Thrown into the deep end, I found myself supporting end-of-life clients early on — an experience that was both humbling and profoundly rewarding. It was then that I realised I had found my true calling. So, when we made the decision to establish Honeysuckle, it felt only natural that I would step into the role of Care Director. My ambition was, and remains, to ensure that every individual who chooses Honeysuckle experiences exceptional, person-centred care from their very first visit through to the end of their journey with us.

Now with over seven years of experience in the sector, I continue to learn and evolve every day. Remaining current in the ever-changing landscape of health and social care is a responsibility I take seriously — not only for myself, but for the dedicated team I lead. In my role, I oversee the coordination of client rosters, ensuring they are delivered accurately and reflect both the personal preferences of our clients and the care plans tailored specifically to their needs.

What I value most is the opportunity to work alongside my family and an incredible team of colleagues who share the same passion for quality care. Each day brings purpose, challenges, and the privilege of making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we support — and that, to me, is the true heart of Honeysuckle.

Carren Buckland

With over 20 years of experience in the Health and Social Care sector, I have had the privilege of working across a variety of settings, gaining valuable insight into the diverse needs of individuals and the importance of truly person-centred care. Throughout my career, I’ve developed a strong passion for ensuring that high-quality care is consistently delivered, and I believe that access to robust training and effective quality assurance processes is fundamental to achieving this at all levels.

I hold a range of qualifications that support me in guiding others through their professional development. I originally joined Honeysuckle Home Care Ltd as the full-time Training and Compliance Manager, a role that aligned perfectly with my dedication to empowering staff through learning. While I now mentor Rebecca in this position, I continue to serve as Honeysuckle’s First Aid Trainer and currently hold the role of Deputy Manager.

I am also working closely with Joanna, who is mentoring me as I prepare to take on the role of Registered Manager later this year. My aim is to help ensure Honeysuckle remains a responsive, forward-thinking organisation within the ever-evolving health and social care landscape, while also strengthening and developing our internal training programme to further support our team’s growth and confidence.

My focus remains on driving excellence in care through education, mentorship, and a shared commitment to quality — values that are at the heart of Honeysuckle’s mission.

Samuel Crewe Job Title: Finance Director Joined: 2021
Samuel Crewe

I co-founded Honeysuckle Home Care Ltd alongside my mother, Joanna, and my sister, Lucy. At just 16 years old, I was stepping into an industry I knew little about, but I was fortunate to have strong guidance and a clear ethos to follow. Joanna instilled in me early on that “you can’t command respect unless you’re prepared to do the same job as the carers.” With that in mind, my first year at Honeysuckle was entirely focused on understanding what quality care delivery truly means — not from behind a desk, but by working alongside our dedicated care team and learning directly from their experience.

Since those early days, I’ve grown into my role as Finance Director, where I now manage the accounts for over 100 clients and oversee payroll for more than 50 members of staff. It’s a demanding position, especially as the business continues to grow, but I am fortunate to be supported by a strong, values-driven team and exceptional mentors who have shaped my professional journey.

Despite having several years of experience under my belt, I firmly believe that every day is still a school day. That mindset fuels my commitment to continuous improvement — both personally and across the organisation. One of my core objectives is to ensure that Honeysuckle Home Care remains financially robust and well-positioned to invest in staff development, high-quality external training, and the tools needed to adapt to the ever-changing landscape of health and social care.

Ultimately, everything we do is centred around one goal: ensuring that every Honeysuckle client receives the highest standard of care, delivered by a confident, well-trained, and compassionate team.

Chloe Cook

After earning a diploma in Forensic Science, I began my career in funeral directing. Supporting families through emotionally challenging times and honouring the final wishes of their loved ones was a deeply fulfilling part of the role. After nearly four years in the industry, I began exploring new paths and, encouraged by my mum, considered a career in care.

In 2022, I joined Honeysuckle as a care worker. It quickly became clear that I had found the right fit — caring for clients in their own homes and ensuring their wishes were respected brought me immense satisfaction. Over the past three years, I’ve progressed through several roles within the organisation, including Employee Relations Officer and Client Relations Officer, and now serve as a Coordinator. My current role carries a range of responsibilities, with scheduling calls being a top priority.

Alongside my professional journey, I completed my Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care in January 2025, a great personal achievement, especially as I was also planning my wedding and working full-time.

Honeysuckle has supported me through many significant life events, and I’m deeply grateful for the continued encouragement and opportunities to grow within the company.

Kirsty Laughlin

Originally from a small town in Mid Wales, I moved to Wiltshire 13 years ago and have built both a personal and professional life I’m incredibly proud of. One of my greatest accomplishments was travelling the world in 2011 — a six-month journey that took me to 19 countries and broadened my perspective in countless ways. My proudest achievement, however, is being a mum to my five-year-old son, Arthur, who is my absolute world. In 2019, I furthered my professional development by earning a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Health and Social Care.

With over 18 years of experience in the Health and Social Care industry, my journey began after starting out as a qualified lifeguard. I quickly realised my true calling was in care — a decision I’ve never regretted. Caring for vulnerable and elderly individuals is more than a job; it’s a privilege and a passion.

Today, I work in a senior role at Honeysuckle Home Care, where I focus on meeting with individuals to design and review their care packages. I take pride in ensuring every plan is truly person-centred and that we meet each client’s unique daily needs with compassion and respect.
