Apollo Care (Blackpool)

I have no hesitation in recommending this company to anyone requiring personal and or domestic care within the home.

My 94-year-old mother is very happy with the care she receives from Apollo. It is a very professional company to deal with and all the carers are extremely well trained, helpful and friendly. They go over and above to ensure that my mother is happy with everything, they really care about her well-being. There is always someone in the office to talk to you about anything that may arise such as needing to change the time of a visit and nothing is too much trouble. My mother has been taken out for lunch twice in recent months and she has really enjoyed the social occasion. The costs compare very favourably with other organisations and we can highly recommend them.

I’m a 52-year-old man who has many conditions and complications and I’ve been using care agencies and private carers for fourteen years now. I know my own mind so I tend not to stay with agencies that can’t cater for what I’m looking for, so when I started with Apollo and it being a new agency I expected teething problems however I’ve seen non. From a care point of view, they are very adept and capable, they allow me to have the same group of carers as then I know that they know me and my needs, they are very efficient and extremely helpful proving themselves over and above the norm. They have the time for me personally to not only do the necessary tasks and medication prompts but also to check each and every time if I need anything else and they don’t rush to get out of the door. The care I have received has definitely kept me healthy, comfortable and improved the quality of my life. All involved there seem to have a zest for what they do and a bounce in their step, truly a delight to have.

Naturally, we have our favourites, but they are genuinely all lovely people, and I am very happy to have them caring for my brother.

The staff are excellent, very caring understanding patient helpful fun and friendly. My mum really looks forward to their visits. We have become really good friends with them some more than others. I cannot praise them enough, plus it gives me time to get out of the house knowing that she is in safe hands. We have had a number of carers in the past but this company is by far the best.

Myself and my 82-year-old father who suffers from dementia and deafness are very happy with the service provided. Very helpful carers who must be commended for their dedication and patience. Just a shame he only gets to see them an hour a day.

Apollo Care is the best and I am treated as a real person, not a number. Nothing is too much for any of the girls who come to support and care for me. I look forward to their visits as they have become like friends. Thank you for being kind and caring. Highly recommended.

The care and support of Apollo Care (Blackpool) is second to none and the care received cannot be faulted. The management look after the care staff and clients with equal care which puts everyone at ease we feel very lucky to be with Apollo Care (Blackpool).

I am always happy to welcome them when they come in. The carers are always happy to come. They are very efficient and find the time for a chat which is important when you are alone a lot as I am. They remind me about taking tablets and always make sure I am comfortable before leaving.
