I contacted the Apollo Care Manager and arranged for a needs review with my elderly father as it was clear my dad was no longer properly looking after himself. He suffers from dementia and was living by himself in a one bedroom flat. He is also extremely hard of hearing.
Debbie visited dad's flat for
over 2 hours to assess dad's needs and was thorough and professional throughout. She engaged with dad mostly, but involved me in all conversations and to agree the best package to suit his needs.
A package of care was put in place ( 2 x 1 hour visits a day) and this was in the main to ensure that he was fed, watered and clean and to provide some much needed company for dad who was becoming increasingly isolated and lonely.
The Carers did a grand job and the family noticed a vast improvement in his demeanour and general wellbeing and we are very grateful for the service provided by Debbie and her team for the few months we used Apollo.

I can not thank Apollo Care enough. The love and care they gave my mum was second to none. They went above and beyond, not only for mum but for me as well. Hannah was my absolute rock, and I really don't know how I would have managed without her at times. She even dropped everything to sleep at mum's
for 5 nights when she came out of hospital. The team are all stars.

Efficient kind caring and professional. Carers willing to listen and do what was necessary to make mum comfortable happy and gained her trust well. Usually on time and stayed for the entire time. We never got the feeling they were in a rush to get to the next client which was very reassuring.

I am very pleased with the professional care my dad is receiving. All of his complex needs are met, and nothing is too much trouble for the carers. They go beyond expectations. I am impressed that they not only care for his personal needs but also care about his mental health and well being. They support
him with stimulation, which is a necessity for dad who has Alzheimer/s, and they use their expertise to pacify him when he becomes arduous. Thank you.

Staff are experienced and well trained in their work and take into account the help asked for. They have a friendly, pleasant and cheerful manner always. My apartment is always left sparkling clean after their visit - a friendly, happy 45 minute each fortnight. Management staff are efficient, helpful
and friendly especially regarding times for each appointment. I can certainly recommend Apollo Care, West Wirral.

We came to Apollo when we were desperately in need of help caring for Mum and Dad. Mum has dementia and Dad was recovering from pneumonia and delirium. They helped them in the mornings with breakfast and tablets and cooked them team at night. They have done a wonderful job taking of them. Not only in
professional way but in a kind and caring way. If we had any problems they were always at the end of a phone to assist us. Sadly Mum and Dad have gone into care but we will always be grateful for the time Apollo looked after them.

The service received for our dad has been excellent. The carers are a lovely group of people that not only put our dad at ease and deliver a great service but have built lovely friendships which is fabulous especially as we are not located close by to just call in. The friendships created has also aided
in the carers to research activities suitable for our dad that he has interests in and they build this into his care plan . This is a huge benefit for him as it enables him to socialise with others and it assist in breaking up his day. Highly recommend this company- very adaptable, amenable and most importantly professional and caring.

Apollo Care provided wonderful support for both me and my husband during challenging times. After a few visits my husband was able to relax and enjoy activities singing playing games. It was such a relief knowing he was in safe hands Apollo care exceeded my expectations

I am so thankful to have found Apollo almost 3 years ago to care for my mum, and I know she is too.
At the time mum was coming home from hospital but otherwise very capable, however she now needs much more care due to her very advanced age.
The Apollo team has been with mum every step of the way,
catering for her evolving needs in the most caring and professional manner.
Mum sees quite a few different faces and loves them all. Each person cares for mum slightly differently but all staff get the job done in an entirely satisfactory way and mum loves all their personalities.
We believe and hope that Apollo will be able to continue looking after mums increasing needs, as their care packages are very broad ranging. Their staff are of high quality and are worth every penny.
Thank you Apollo, I don't know what we would do without you.

With doctors, nurses, and hospital beds being in short supply the combination of hospital. Apollo Care (West Wirral) has proved to be all I could have wished for with all the obvious advantages of being treated at home.
