Apollo Care (West Wirral)

I can not thank Apollo Care enough. The love and care they gave my mum was second to none. They went above and beyond, not only for mum but for me as well. Hannah was my absolute rock, and I really don't know how I would have managed without her at times. She even dropped everything to sleep at mum's for 5 nights when she came out of hospital. The team are all stars.

I was impressed by all aspects of the service, very impressive.

Excellent service. Nothing is too much trouble. Very attentive to my wife, they see to all her needs.

Staff are experienced and well trained in their work and take into account the help asked for. They have a friendly, pleasant and cheerful manner always. My apartment is always left sparkling clean after their visit - a friendly, happy 45 minute each fortnight. Management staff are efficient, helpful and friendly especially regarding times for each appointment. I can certainly recommend Apollo Care, West Wirral.

Thank you for your care. The service from Apollo Care is excellent. The staff are very caring and understanding of my mother's needs, and she is comfortable and happy with all the staff. The staff keep the family aware of any changes in Mum's health or needs. Apollo Care are very accommodating with any changes in mum's care or changes of times that I need. The family could not wish for a better service in care.

We came to Apollo when we were desperately in need of help caring for Mum and Dad. Mum has dementia and Dad was recovering from pneumonia and delirium. They helped them in the mornings with breakfast and tablets and cooked them team at night. They have done a wonderful job taking of them. Not only in professional way but in a kind and caring way. If we had any problems they were always at the end of a phone to assist us. Sadly Mum and Dad have gone into care but we will always be grateful for the time Apollo looked after them.

I think that before a member of your staff enters a home, they could be told what to do and what not to do regarding cleaning. I gather this could be to do with insurance?

I have been extremely happy with all my carers. They are friendly and treat me with dignity! Nothing is too much trouble for them, and they always visit me with a smile!

All the staff treat my grandparents with dignity, support them with their own independence and all the carers are highly trustworthy!

Without exception and in all their different ways I enjoy all the visits of your staff and thankfully since the New Year my health has improved dramatically.

My review is that Apollo comes every week and provides a satisfactory service during the week and on Saturday mornings. (They do not come Saturday nights or all day Sunday because I wish to do the medications myself.) They also do the dishes when they come they do washing when they have to and clean the table tops and when they have to do the bedding. I am satisfied with them.

I am very happy with the care I have received from all the members of the Apollo Care team which has allowed me to remain in my own home. Everyone has been helpful, polite and caring in providing my care.

My mum has been receiving care from Apollo Care (West Wirral) for the past 2 years and we have been very happy with the service. We have been impressed by the agency’s reliability, flexibility, and willingness to accommodate our requests and by the carers’ punctuality, kindness and helpfulness, and it has been so nice for Mum to have the consistency of a small number of regular carers. If ever there have (rarely) needed to be any last-minute changes to the schedule, Mum has always been notified and has never been let down. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Apollo Care.

Both my parents have received the best care from all the team throughout the last few years. It’s meant so much knowing I could completely trust Apollo Care. My parents were so fond of everyone who came into their lives. The team at the office have also been very supportive throughout the time and I was grateful for their kindness and compassion. I will miss them too!

I chose Apollo for the friendliness of the staff. The firm has that cast feel of home that I really like. They are always punctual, good value for money as they work till the end of the visit. Also, they are always there at the end of the phone if you have any problems. So taken all around I am very happy with my care provider.

We would not hesitate to recommend Apollo Care.

I feel very grateful to have Apollo providing my care. They are reliable and responsive to my needs and the carers coming into my home are friendly and a pleasure to be with. I know my family are grateful too because they know I'm being well supported.

The staff at Apollo Care provided excellent care for my father. The team and managers supported the whole family with my father's illness. They all showed compassion but were professional at all times.

As a family, we want to say a massive thank you to everyone involved in dad's care over the last 2 years. The difference they made, not only to his life, but to the families has been overwhelming, and the love, care and support shown by all at Apollo West Wirral has been second to none.

Also, I have only seen one carer on one occasion, but she helped Mum come to terms with a new type of undergarment which I fully appreciated - thanks.
