Put simply as I said in my exit meeting with my social worker and one of their administrators, I would not let them look after a dead rat as the contract is terminated with immediate effect because of serious health and safety issues And trust issues. Everything is recorded on video and on call...
Put simply as I said in my exit meeting with my social worker and one of their administrators, I would not let them look after a dead rat as the contract is terminated with immediate effect because of serious health and safety issues And trust issues. Everything is recorded on video and on call recorder there is plenty of evidence.

The good side of this review is that most of the carers are very good. However the greatest stress for me is carers arriving a lot earlier than expected (7 am instead of 8 am) which is not acceptable as I could be in the shower. I accept things happen during unforeseen circumstances but a text or...
The good side of this review is that most of the carers are very good. However the greatest stress for me is carers arriving a lot earlier than expected (7 am instead of 8 am) which is not acceptable as I could be in the shower. I accept things happen during unforeseen circumstances but a text or similar would be appreciated. It's also stressful trying to feed my husband, which due to a medical condition is very slow and sometimes difficult if they turn up a lot earlier than expected and then leave in a rush. Most carers wait a few minutes while I finish but it mostly feels difficult and they never stay the full allocated time. (Husband has one lung, bent windpipe and dementia.)
