Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
Smart links care provides a qualified carer once a week for 3 hours to look after my husband while I have a break. The carer is excellent and my husband enjoys her company. She makes his lunch too. It means that I can have a proper break without worrying about his welfare.

Overall Experience 4.0 out of 5
Both carers are very accommodating and are willing to help in all ways. They both need public transport to get to us and I am concerned that they have to travel on their own at night. the request to leave early to catch a train/bus is acceptable at times but cannot be viewed as a standard. Both carers
are always cheerful.
Reply from Chinedu Okpala, Director at Smartlinks Care Services UKThank you for your kind and positive feedback about the service you're receiving. It truly means a great deal to us.

Our carers genuinely enjoy supporting your wife each day, and we're delighted to hear that their involvement is making a meaningful difference to you and your family.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Home Care Provider is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.500 for Smartlinks Care Services UK is calculated as follows: ( (5 Excellents x 5) + (5 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 10 Ratings = 4.5
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5').

    The 5 points available are broken down as follows: 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.5 Points for the second and third Positive Reviews, 0.25 Points for each of the next two Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3, 2nd = 0.5, 3rd = 0.5, 4th = 0.25, 5th = 0.25, 6th = 0.05, 7th = 0.05, 8th = 0.05, 9th = 0.05, 10th = 0.05, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025)

The 5 points relating to the number of Positive Reviews for Smartlinks Care Services UK is based on 2 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as follows: 3 + 0.5 = 3.5
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Home Care Provider does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
