Right at Home Brentwood, Billericay & Rayleigh provides the appropriate visit times throughout the day, seven days a week so that care can be provided in a positive and supportive manner, maintaining clients’ dignity and independence.
CareGivers work to make a difference to the lives of everyone they provide care for. They are carefully chosen through a highly selective process of pre-screening, personal interviews, DBS checks (criminal records) and reference checks. All carers also undertake intensive training and shadowing with experienced carers before they can start caring for clients.
CareGivers are introduced to clients before they commence care with their clients to ensure there is mutual compatibility, and continue to receive further training, refresher training and personal development on an ongoing basis.

Right at home are an amazing care company. Having swapped carers, the difference was apparent on the first day. The carers, "care" and do what's right for the client (my mum) they all use common sense and care for my mum as I would, which makes me feel confident with her in their hands. Amazing!

We have been extremely pleased with the care received for my step father. All the staff were professional, trustworthy, punctual and friendly. We have had a lot of changes to care schedules over the months and these were handled promptly and obligingly by the office staff. Communication between family and caregivers/office staff was very good and the ability to use an app to view details of each visit was invaluable. We felt that Right at Home was an extension of family and that they often went above and beyond for clients and families.
We noted that each caregiver made a real effort to get to know my stepfather and alter food choices and activities to suit his needs together with maintaining his dignity. The carers gave support, advice, and suggestions which were much appreciated by friends and family. The level of care, support, and friendship were exceptional and we honestly don't know how we would have coped without them.

We have only just started using the services of Right at Home after using another care company. We found the level of care provided by the previous care company to be so awful we thought the only thing that we could do to keep Dad safe and happy was to think about residential care. The care he has had has been so much better than before and has totally changed our views on his future. They genuinely care for him, talk to him and look after him. It doesn’t seem to be just a job that needs to be fine for any of the carers we have met. They all go above and beyond for him and us as a family.

Right at Home provides caring and responsive support for my mother. They have worked well with the family to adapt the care plan as requirements have changed. All of the carers who visit are friendly and responsive to my mother's needs. Notes on attendance are detailed and informative. It is clear that each carer reads the notes from the previous visits. The carers work well with the family and other visitors such as the District Nurse. The administrative support is exemplary and very responsive to changes in arrangements. Communication by email or telephone is good. A pleasant company to work with.

Right at Home has cared for my mother-in-law for five years. THeir carers are professional, respectful, resourceful and efficient. Their professional manner shows in their attention to detail. Carers raise concerns effectively to the admin team who contact the family immediately. The care given is consistent. Timekeeping is good and communication excellent. The company has an app which families have access to; schedule of care is useful and the carers' notes are available after every visit. Right at Home is run well; the office staff can be contacted by phone or email and requests from families are always accommodated. There is an out-of-hours service which we have used. Information is shared promptly with the day time staff.
This is an excellent provider which we can trust and feel that our relative is safe in their care.

I have been working for Right at Home Brentwood since 2020.
I am very family orientated.
I have two lovely kids and a loving husband that supports me in everything that I do, so when I am not working I am spending my time with them.
When I saw a post on Facebook about becoming a carer, I thought why not give it a go and see if I could make a difference to someone else's life.
I believe I have as I have been working for Right at Home now for three years, I love being a carer and the most rewarding and happy part of it is if I see a smile or hear them laugh then I know I am doing a good job for them.

I started working for Right at Home Brentwood in October/November 2017 as I needed a job that fit around my family life as well as bringing in a higher income than what I was earning in the job I had at the time.
Throughout the years as a care assistant I have met some amazing people who have praised me for things that seem so small but for our clients its a world of difference and I still get that lovely feeling when I see a smile because of something I or 1 of our lovely ladies I work alongside have done, I have also advanced my portfolio with extra qualifications that R.A.H paid for and provided the tutors, I increased my hours as my children grew and was given the opportunity to become a field care supervisor, which I sadly had to step down from a year later because family life changed again but at every stage of my life in the last 6 years I have been supported in a job I absolutely love, I have 3 wonderful kids and 3 beautiful grandbabies 1 of which lives with me, I'm also the registered carer for my parents which I've been doing for many more year than I wish to count, I'm a nutshell my life is care and I couldn't be happier.

My name is Claire Chambers and I’ve been working as a carer for Right at Home Brentwood & Billericay since February 2019.
I am a mother to two almost grown up daughters! who are making me very proud with their attitude to life. My sweet cute dog also makes up our household.
I originally decided to be a carer due to the exceptional care my daughter received throughout her early years, fighting childhood cancer. During this time I also lost my dad, his partner and a good university friend to this dreadful disease. I felt obligated to give back and I left my city analytical career behind me.
During my childhood I was always fond of spending time with my grandparents and their peers; I therefore knew that I could communicate well, emphasise, respect and bond with my elders.
I have stayed working with Right at Home due to their supportive culture. I have been able to adjust my working shifts around my changing family demands. This has enabled me to have a good work life balance.

After losing both my parents I took some time to reevaluate my working life and decided that I wanted to give something back and find a job where I could really help people.
I can honestly say I have never enjoyed or felt so rewarded by any other job and I wish that I had made the move to caring a lot sooner!
I feel very supported by the RAH office team and by all of the other lovely ladies I work with.
I have met some amazing people and it is such a privilege to help them in their homes.
Outside of work I live with my wonderful partner and our dog Alfie. Between us we have five beautiful grown-up children, so we are now just waiting for grandchildren!!

I joined Right at Home in December 2022 my first role in the care industry. I see some really positive feedback online about Right at Home from other carers that work for them so I had a really good feeling about joining this company.
The in-depth training and support along with other carers make sure you’re comfortable to fulfil your roll and always there to help. I’ve met some really lovely clients and carers from joining Right at Home. I love working here, helping people and seeing them smile and laugh it’s not just a job you’re making a difference in their lives. I really couldn’t ask for a better company and team to work for.
Outside of work I spend my time with my 13yr old son who loves football or with my friends and family, shopping and socialising I also love to travel.

Hi, I’m Rachel. I started working for Right At Home in May 2022. I had worked in retail jobs for 9 years previously and was looking for a change in career.
