Mum has used Candlelight Care for a very long time, ten years plus and in that time the carers have always treated her kindly and with respect. Sadly when she became end of life, the care needed to double which was provided unconditionally. Everyone was so sympathetic and professional. Could not recommend highly enough. The care was exceptional, right to her last hours. Most dignified and worry free, enabling her to be at home.
A beautiful review which has been shared with the core team. Thank you.
Always very pleased with the professional and friendly level of care provided. The service really improves the quality of life of not just my grandmother, but everyone at home. Many thanks.
I am very happy with all the care that I am given, I can't thank you all enough as I am so grateful to every one of you.
Thank you for leaving these kind words about the service we are providing. I will share this with the core team.
This service allowed me to come home from hospital. Each person that called was very helpful and understanding, knowing the best way to do things. Always polite and treated you with dignity and respect.
Thank you for leaving this beautiful compliment about our Home First/Discharge to Assess team, delivering specialist services and assisting patients to return back home from hospital and deliver reablement to allow you to regain your independence and continue living in your own home. Candlelight Care stepped in after my husband was discharged from hospital. We were impressed by their friendliness and also helpfulness. Nothing was too much trouble.

Throughout my father's caring experience, I found that his care from Candlelight staff has been extremely professional and his current situation has been treated with dignity and compassion.
I cannot begin to express my thanks and appreciation to the staff who spent the time looking after my father, at a difficult time in his life.
Thank you for leaving this beautiful compliment about our Home First/Discharge to Assess (D2A) team. They do an amazing job, especially during these difficult times (pandemic) and therefore, I have shared the compliment with them as a team.
Home First - A fantastic team of carers. I could not wish for any better treatment for my wife. They treated my wife with love and dedication and nothing which was asked for was any trouble to them ie creaming her body, washing her hair, making sure she was comfortable at all times and also they cared for me, her husband, every day.
Thank you so much for the kind words about our Home First team, I will make sure I share them with the team as a whole. Please accept our sincere condolences for the passing of your wife, I know the team were very fond of you both and felt it was a real privilege that they had the opportunity of getting to know you both. Take care and keep safe.
I have been consistently amazed by the thoughtful and caring attitude of everyone who has been looking after me. Everyone has been so extremely kind and patient, which has helped my recovery so much. In fact, as I didn't really know how the leg surgery would affect me, I can honestly say without your help, this last month could have been an absolute nightmare. So thank you all so very much.
Thank you for leaving this amazing review of your experience of using our services. We are so lucky to have such an amazing and skilled team. I have shared the compliment with them all.
They were all very friendly and kind and they really cared for my mum.
Thank you very much for your kind words. Your mum came to us initially via our Home First (Discharge to Assess) team, after being discharged from hospital. Your mum then moved over to our domiciliary care service for her ongoing care needs to be met. It is a real success when clients move between our services and stay within our Company. I will share the compliment with both of the teams.
All of the staff who visited were really professional, very helpful, all nice people and very reassuring.

Sarah started her journey with Candlelight back in 2003. She began as a domiciliary carer and then transferred into the Live in department providing a service of 24-hour care and support.
This hands-on care experience set Sarah in good stead to progress into an office-based Care Coordinator role.
Sarah was able to gain the knowledge and skills and complete various qualifications along the way that then provided her with an opportunity to progress into a management role.
In 2021, Sarah was awarded her Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and was successful in becoming Candlelight’s Discharge to Assess manager. This role brought with it a focus on partnership working and a patient-focused, person-centred approach to regaining independence.
In February 2022, Sarah gained her CQC Registration, enabling the D2A service at Candlelight to have its own dedicated Registered Manager.
Sarah has had many opportunities to progress at Candlelight, and her most recent achievement is being appointed as the new Business and Development Manager.
In her own time, Sarah enjoys films, cooking and travelling.
