Very pleased with the carers - I have a one-hour session each morning, staff are punctual, polite and carry out my wishes for personal care. Help to supervise showering and hair washing when asked. If time allows, small household jobs are completed to a high standard. The carers are careful with my belongings, cheerful and do not waste time. I appreciate that the carers are regular ie. not changing very often except for holidays/illness. The office always informs me of any changes. Thank you for the schedules and paper copy invoices.

From the moment I called Home Instead I knew that they would be able to help. We needed to get some care in place for my aunt as she was struggling to manage at home. I was so impressed with the professional, helpful and friendly service and it was a such a relief to know that things would be able to be put in place so quickly and efficiently. Within a very short space of time, due to an unfortunate set of circumstances my aunt was not able to continue living at home however Home Instead continued to help and support me as I had to make urgent respite care arrangements. Their help in this respect was invaluable and very much appreciated as it was something I'd no experience of dealing with. I would highly recommend Home Instead.

I’d like to thank the team at Home Instead, their service and support is outstanding. They are pleasure to deal with, nothing is too much trouble. My Mum has Dementia and forgets to eat, a routine of trusted support had to be implemented. With Covid travel restrictions, living overseas, it became difficult to try to find good support through websites etc. We were recommended to try “Home Instead”, from the first phone call it was clear we were dealing with a team of very professional people who were dedicated to help and who genuinely cared! My Mum is very independent and was reluctant to have anyone in her home. The care provided from the team who are visiting daily is fabulous, they very quickly worked out what the situation was and what was needed. The genuine feedback received was a weight off my mind. Every visit is on time. I can’t speak highly enough of the whole team; I would have no problem at all in recommending the Home Instead Team, they are an incredible group of people!

We contacted Home Instead when we needed to arrange urgent home care for our mother, 95. They came highly recommended from several sources locally. From the first phone call, the quality of service and care was outstanding. Their administration, reporting processes and in-depth knowledge were complemented by a team of carers who went well beyond the call of duty during the four visits each day. They very quickly understood our mother's particular needs and communication between all parties was reassuringly professional. Nothing was too much trouble and the team were all highly experienced and genuinely caring. We would recommend Home Instead without reservation.

My husbands care was excellent. The carers were very pleasant and put him at his ease, despite the intimate care involved. They combined a friendly and relaxed approach with high professional standard of hygiene and handling techniques. Managers were very involved and helpful. It was very visible that the company incested into the staff and treats them well. This isn't the company if you want a cheap service, but worth it for high standards.

I needed to rapidly find a new care company to look after my 90-year-old mum when she came out of hospital as we had been disappointed with a previous company. I live abroad so it was crucial that I found a professional company that I could rely on. From my first contact by telephone and then by emails I immediately sensed I was dealing with a professional company, extremely well organised and experienced. My mother is delighted with the carers. They arrive on time, are extremely well organised and quickly put my mother at ease. Nothing is too much for them. Caring, enthusiastic and well trained and very proactive. They are passionate about what they do. I would not hesitate in recommending them. They are superb.

Home Instead (Oldham & Saddleworth) is an outstanding company giving excellent service at a difficult time. The office staff are approachable and helpful and the carers treated my mother with friendliness, dignity and care - we couldn’t have asked for more. We have no hesitation in recommending them - quite simply they are superb.

Mum has now had to go into a care home but we are truly grateful for the service, care and advice received from Home Instead.

The staff have been excellent throughout, the ladies providing the service day to day and the management. I have been kept well informed and been greatly reassured by the high standard of care provided for my father in law.

Never having had to use this service before I was somewhat apprehensive but I needn't have been with Home Instead! Just what was needed and I would not hesitate to recommend the company to anyone in need of home care - excellent!

I was very satisfied with home care service. The two carers that looked after my husband were excellent, they were very caring and understanding.

We were introduced to the services of Home Instead to help with mum's care after our father's death in 2017 and stayed with them right up to the end of 2020 when mum was admitted to hospital where sadly she died at Christmas. My sister and I would like to record our sincere thanks for the huge part Home Instead played in these last few years, enabling mum to stay in the home she loved and giving us peace of mind as we did not live nearby. We got to know many carers in this time and they became like friends but remained truly caring and professional throughout. If a problem arose they were always there for us. We can't thank you enough and will never forget you. We would certainly recommend you to anyone else in our situation. Thank you.

My mum was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in early December 2020 and as a result of the diagnosis had to surrender her driving licence. I live permanently in Australia and my sister lives an hour's drive away from mum and has a young family. I contacted Home Instead Senior Care via email and then we spoke on the phone after the diagnosis was given. The Home Instead team were nothing short of amazing and were able to provide a suitable carer 3 days a week to take Mum out shopping and help with any other needs Mum had. They have kept us updated as to Mum's progress and we receive detailed accounts of the carer's visit. I honestly don't know what we would have done if Home Instead weren't able to mobilise so quickly and provide the support we so desperately needed. I would have no problem at all in recommending their services, they are an incredible group of people.

My mum went from hourly care to needing live-in care. Mum has dementia and has gone very childlike. The two carers that are sharing the care of my mum are absolutely brilliant with her. It warms my heart when they write in the portal about activities they have been doing, from jigsaws, making paper baskets, singing to hymns, baking and playing games. It gives me great peace of mind knowing that she is safe, happy and stimulated, especially during the lockdown. Thank you.

Home Instead looked after our parents between November 2019 and October 2020. The care which Home Instead provided was absolutely outstanding. Our parents not only relied on and valued the assistance which Home Instead provided, but they also very much looked forward to seeing the carers and enjoyed their friendship and company. Seeing them was one of the highlights of their day. We have no doubt that it was the support which Home Instead provided which enabled them to remain independent. However, it was not only what the carers did which was so important, but the way in which it was done - with extraordinary dedication, humour, kindness and love. The ethos at Home Instead is that nothing is too much trouble, and all the staff went out of their way to help in any way possible, including taking phone calls at 2 am and at the weekend. They were wonderful, and we shall always be grateful to them.

I have been pleased that the staff visiting us has remained the same unless somebody was ill, and if this happened, the office would always ring ahead to inform us who was coming instead. A very caring and reliable service!

I would just like to say how grateful I am to Home Instead, who provided care for my father whilst he was living in Saddleworth. Every single carer that helped my father was so amazing with him, and I really couldn't recommend them enough. A really excellent team.
