The carers have always been prompt, except on the very rare occasion when they have phoned to advise her. She has the same carers so is not surprised by anyone different. The company rings me if there are any queries and have dealt with any questions I have raised promptly. The carers are well-trained and have a very kind attitude. They will do anything asked from showering, preparing meals to light housework, even offering to take my mother out for a cup of tea. They are always cheerful, well-presented and kind and my mother looks forward to them coming. Daily sheets are always completed by the carer so I can see what they have been doing and I can leave messages for them. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the service.

All carers have been and continue to be extremely professional, building a relationship with my mother. Their timekeeping is accurate, my mother is, on the whole, extremely pleased with the service she has and continues to receive.

The service provided by Home Instead has been outstanding. The administration was handled promptly and efficiently. The staff allocated were caring, professional, always prompt, and, really nice people. At a time of stress, Home Instead was a real lifeline. I would have hesitation in recommending this organisation to anyone needing personal care.

I currently use Home Instead Senior Care to call on my 84 year old mother who has Alzheimer’s/Dementia and Diabeties. A regular carer visits punctually and for the full time allocated. She treats my mum with dignity and respect, converses with her, and completes all tasks required in a pleasant effective manner. The support management team are involved and regular reviews are made ensuring the Care Plan is up to date. Although the cost is high, the service given cannot be compared to cheaper service suppliers. You certainly get a better service for the extra cost. This has given me piece of mind that someone is giving my mum the care needed. I fully recommend their services.

Great support for my father that did a lot to extend the time he could live in his home. Care providers were unfailingly supportive and friendly - making each visit something special to look forward to.

The care agreement and care plan was excellent and supported by a management team who clearly understand the needs of their clients and the variability in the services that might be needed.

The care given to my mother has been excellent, we have had your help for over two years and couldn't have asked for anything better! We are very satisfied with service that we received from Home Instead. The office staff are both efficient and concerned that we receive the level of care that we require. The care provider is always on time and is happy to help with whatever tasks/activities we require. She is cheerful and positive and also encourages my father to be as active as he can be. My father is also able to go out and about with her which he would not be able to do on his own.

The Home Instead team have been carefully selected for knowledge, skills and experience. They are trained by the company and seem to have excellent support from 'the office'. Within their abilities (they are caregivers, not nurses and they are careful to draw safe boundaries), they are able to provide a really excellent caring team for my mother and also to the family.

They are good communicators and get in touch with concerns and updates.

There are frequent reviews, always booked in advance and listening very carefully to my mother's own feedback.

I contacted the care provider to get help looking after my brother who has dementia and lives alone. He is visited by two carers who are friendly, caring and do a wonderful job taking care of his needs. My brother looks forward to their visits and I can relax a little knowing that he is being looked after by such caring people. The office staff deal efficiently with my calls and any queries I have, and they keep me updated whenever there is a problem with my brother. I am very happy with the service.

Overall, Home Instead is a quality outfit. I am happy to recommend them (although they are not the cheapest!).

I phoned Home Instead as I was very worried about my mother in the mornings, as she is wobbly and a little muddled at that time of the day. Their response was immediate and carers soon put in place. Mum was dubious at first but that was soon forgotten. The carers are lovely ladies, very caring and good to mum. She now wonders how she got on without them, and I don’t have any worries in the morning anymore.

Home Instead Senior Care cared for my friend since October 2015 and have always gone the extra mile in looking after her. Despite the recent bad weather with roads closed, all care appointments were maintained. They have been particularly good at maintaining contacts with medical and social services contacts when necessary.

Home Instead cared for my mother for almost 10 years and treated with her with care and dignity. It was a very consistent and reliable service that I would recommend to anyone.

The family would like to thank Home Instead very much for looking after our Mum/Grandma and everything you have done for her. The service enabled Mum to keep independent longer than expected. Sadly now she needs 24-hour care in a nursing home. We are sad that we no longer have contact with you.

We very much appreciate all the hard work and support your team have given us. Each time we have contacted the office, the staff have been exceptionally helpful. It was very reassuring that management visited regularly to check on paperwork and ensure that Mum was happy with the service. Each time I was involved in these meetings.

From the first visit to Mum, she instantly loved seeing her Care Givers and we are so grateful that Home Instead were able to take her to the coast to spend the day with us.

Home Instead Senior Care (Brentwood, Billericay and Upminster) visit my elderly parents daily. All the caregivers are so caring and kind and helpful and will do anything to assist my mum and dad. My mum looks forward to "her ladies" visiting every day. Nothing is too much trouble and I feel comforted by the knowledge that they do their absolute best for my parents. Home Instead Senior Care (Brentwood, Billericay and Upminster) are in regular contact with me to give me updates and ring immediately if they visit and find anything amiss. They are a great comfort to me, my sister and my parents as life becomes more challenging for them in their old age.

I engaged Home Instead for short-term (one month) support during recuperation from major surgery. The service was extremely helpful and flexible, enabling me to increase and decrease care as required. The carers were very prompt, reliable, helpful and kind.
