Overall Experience

My uncle's experience with his home care has been excellent and his opinion has always been in praise of the care and attention he has received. I have also found the quality of the carer team/staff and management to be of a very high standard. They have always been very supportive/helpful and flexible - especially with last minute time changes and/or external appointments.

Overall Experience

Was recommended to Home Instead by several people and organisations. Knew from the start that they would be upper-tier in charges, but they proved their worth as far as I was concerned.

The service was professional (and always on time), efficient, caring, time was taken and there wasn't any clock-watching, the staff were very interactive with my Mum, and I used to hear her laugh and chat constantly with the carers.

I had my Mum's routine precisely managed after an extended period of time in undertaking her care personally and found Home Instead fitted in perfectly without any disruption that might have confused my Mum.

Overall Experience

The care and support my wife (who suffers from Alzheimer's) and I receive from Home Instead is excellent. They provide a regular body and hair wash service for my wife. They also help considerably with the housework and laundry, ironing a mountain of washing every week. Assistance on cooking and cleaning, chinaware and cutlery including stains is most valuable. Assistance with minor errands and posting letters is undertaken without a problem.

Home Instead have been providing care for my mother in law for a number of years now. She is 96 years old and is registered blind. This has enabled her to stay in her own flat, and there is no doubt that this would have been impossible without the care that she receives.

She has help with personal care, showering etc, preparation of meals, taking medication, light housework, trips to the shops, companionship etc.
The carers are all very pleasant and professional. The company requires that a log is kept of every visit and any issues are reported to the office and us.
It was evident from the outset that the whole organisation and systems that are in place ensure that clients receive a care package designed to meet their individual needs, and that there are safeguards to ensure any problems that may arise are dealt with efficiently and effectively.

Home Instead continue to provide an excellent service which greatly benefits my mother in law and, of course, us, indirectly.

Home Instead Senior Care is an excellent care agency. Caregivers are matched to the client and any change is discussed with the client. The standard of care is excellent and I have never had a problem with any carers. They are always professional, on time and willing to do whatever is required. If possible, the same carer/carers come each week so there is consistency in giving and more relaxing for the client. An excellent care agency.

Overall Experience

My Uncle lives alone with no family members living nearby. He struggles to look after himself properly but wants to stay in his own home as long as possible. With the excellent support from Home Instead, he is managing to achieve this. The caregivers are all very kind and caring and well trained. Detailed records of every visit are kept in a client log book which helps visiting family greatly. The manager does a quality review meeting regularly and quickly identifies areas where more support is needed. Very good communication is maintained with family members by email. I would recommend Home Instead to other families needing care for their loved ones.

Overall Experience

Brilliant service. Home Instead Senior Care offer as little or as much care as my parents require. They encourage them to be as independent as practicable but they also alert them and me if they feel my parents are being unrealistic or if anything else is needed. A thorough review is carried out regularly Home Instead know more about my dad's background than I do!...including monitoring any changes in medication or personal circumstances. They listen to my concerns and act on things I tell them without making my parents feel they are being talked about behind their backs. They try to maintain consistent care but when anyone carer is away, due to training or holidays, the replacement is always as good and thoroughly briefed.

We have used Home Instead for many years. It allows mum to remain independent in her own home. The carers are extremely kind, helpful and caring women. Some mum has had from the start. The management team are organised and the service is very reliable.

Overall Experience

Home Instead provided care for my Dad for around 9 months, until his death. The carers were lovely, helpful, caring, courteous and friendly and well liked by Dad. Also the manager and office staff were all lovely and bent over backwards to help. I really cannot fault them.
