The principal carer developed an excellent relationship and rapport with my father and his family.

They conducted their visits in a professional manner and enabled my father to maintain his independence, routines and hobbies for the past six months.

Home Instead Senior Care (Cambridge) first supported my now 98-year-old mother when she moved into a bungalow near me. They spent a long time talking to her first before selecting the most appropriate carer. They provided company, help with gardening, cleaning and cooking. When it became necessary for her to move into a care home, they continued to visit her. They are able to take her out for walks and now she is wheelchair bound, assist with letter writing, painting activities, jigsaw puzzles and above all companionship.

Home Instead Senior Care (Cambridge) carers were practically always on time and carried out duties in an efficient manner plus they were all kind to my mother. I have described them to other people as 'saints' and have recommended the company without hesitation.

The carer I met was very helpful and loving. She did what she could, however, my request for an assertive experienced carer was not really met. Also, I was not told that we would be charged double for bank holidays. Also when a carer was ill, someone was sent in who just chatted. This was not really satisfactory.

The caregivers were always so kind and she enjoyed their attention and focus on her too.

Home Instead Senior Care (Cambridge) provided four carers over a period of two weeks to help my wife and I cope with the initial period of being discharged from hospital after major surgery. In my wife's care, this involved removal of an ovarian cyst, hysterectomy, removal of a section of the bowel and repairs to the bladder, in my case it was a total replacement of one hip. All four carers provided help for us to get started each day and did this cheerfully and with sensitivity.

Home Instead Senior Care (Cambridge) could not have been more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and the communication was excellent.

Over the past 5 years, this service continues to give us peace of mind that "all is taken care of" as agreed so that we can carry on our own daily life knowing that our family member is attended to in a proper manner by a carefully matched and reliable carer at times as set down. They are always helpful, prompt, efficient and observant. We are very satisfied with the service we receive.

The company were very thorough in their preparation for my husband to come home, especially with communication with the hospital.

Team always kept me informed, responded to any requests promptly. I cannot praise them highly enough. You might have to pay slightly more but the added value was well worth the peace of mind. I employed another local care agency but Home Instead Senior Care was by far the best.

Generally very reliable, caring, considerate, friendly and efficient. Treated Mum with respect and compassion. Mostly the same carers in attendance which helps with their understanding of her in terms of needs and difficulties. One slightly vague and a bit 'wishy washy' in her attitude but still caring and considerate. Overall a good service, reasonable costs, efficient office staff also. Would recommend to others.

A very comprehensive and professional service. Able to react at short notice to meet emergencies and always timely when responding to queries whether by phone or email. A wide range of staff to meet customer's needs. I would recommend Home Instead without hesitation.

Home Instead Cambridge have provided excellent morning personal care and evening meal preparation for my mother over the last 2 years. Very reliable (only completely missed one visit in 2 years) and good continuity of regular carers - a couple of carers have been visiting Mother throughout the 2 years. 6 monthly reviews, billing etc are all to a high standard.

The staff are caring and efficient. They are always on times and meet my father's needs as an individual.
