The initial assessment visit was thorough and sensitive as was the service review.

Outstanding. A totally excellent and professional service, with wonderful carers who we could trust to look after dad in a kind and dignified way. Everybody we dealt with more pleasant efficient and accommodating and the carers were well managed, informed and appropriate for dad. We were able to keep him in this own home until the end.

I used Home Instead to help me with 2 daily showers. Needing assistance during the first 4 weeks of being at home and Home Instead gave me the confidence to manage alone.

Since my mother's death in 2015, my father needed extra care. The carer supplied by Home Instead was extremely good. Her rapport with my father proved ideal and he looked forward to her visits.

Home Instead have been a great care company in the year and a half we have been using them so far. The staff are very open, kind and helpful and seem to really care about their work. My mother has Alzheimer's and Home Instead have catered for her changing needs with ease. The carers also 'keep things fresh' with new ideas for activities.

It is very helpful to have a regular visit. I am not housebound but it is good to have these visits. My care provider is reliable, arriving on time and very willing to undertake jobs (eg, changing curtains and re-hanging others). Anything which needs using steps can be done by her. I hope to prevent a fall, (of course!).

My father's face lights up as soon as she arrives. Nothing is too much trouble and she is always willing to go the extra mile to help. Her tasks are always completed to the highest standards. I would definitely highly recommend Home Instead.

Home Instead Senior Care (Cambridge) carers cared for my father for 6 months before his needs became so great that he needed to move into a care home. These 6 months made my father's wish come true. He wanted to remain as independent as possible after receiving a terminal diagnosis of cancer. Home Instead Senior Care (Cambridge) made this possible. They were always kind, caring and sensitively helped my father with all personal care. They liaised with me daily so I knew what was happening from day to day. My mother was able to stay in her own home much longer as a result of the good care given.

The carers were very nice but sometimes they were so late, which meant my father couldn't get out or go anywhere. We do understand though.

The care provided by the primary carer was excellent; always punctual, efficient, effective and very caring. My mother was like a different person after the primary carer's visits and felt like she had been treated with kindness and dignity.

We found Home Instead management and carers very helpful, informative and tolerant of my sister in laws needs. They helped us out whenever we needed them and my sister in law regarded the carers as friends. It is a great shame we had to change agencies but money dictates.

Both my sister and I love for from our mother who values her independence. When she started to be forgetful, we engaged carers from Home Instead, St Ives. They gave us peace of mind that someone was regularly visiting mum and we were always alerted when there were concerns. The quality of the carers was excellent.

We are very pleased with the care provided and with the monitoring of the care. The caregivers are sensitive and respectful and have been able to adjust to changes in my mother's situation.

It took a while to get accustomed to timings of visits and to be adaptable to changes at short notice, but I now find an hourly visit on weekdays adequate and helpful. I am not entirely convinced of the usefulness of reports of work done as the time taken to write it all down eats into the hour quite considerably in some cases. I am however very glad of both the company of carers and the regular and necessary work they provide.

Companionship care was provided twice a week for my father while in residential care. A carer was extremely well chosen, having had experience of exercising with the elderly and also having had a military career as had my father. Could not have had a better man to converse with my father while he was still able to interact.
