Home Instead Epsom cared for my 91-year-old friend for 2 years. I loved her so much and was determined to source the best for her. I certainly hit the jackpot. Such an amazing team, everyone working together to achieve flawless care, my friend was never let down in the 2 years she was with Home Instead. I cannot thank them enough. Increasing care over time as her physical strength declined took the pressure off my shoulders. The communication from the office was top notch and the problem solving with the odd issue we had at our end...superb. Both myself and the recipient of the care had been involved in nurse training for years, so we naturally assessed the care given, it was in our blood! What a delight to see the professional skilled care she received from all her carers, delivered with empathy and kindness; those little things that made her feel so happy, safe and respected. Throughout the pandemic, they not only kept my friend safe but also helped to fill that void Covid caused by going that extra mile. Outstanding.

My nearly 91-year-old mother thoroughly enjoys her weekly 2 hour visits from her Home Instead companion. Essential housework is done which is a great help, and the two of them cook and eat lunch together. My mother loves the opportunity to have a meal with ‘a friend’, valuing the company and chat. Indeed she looks forward to it. Companions are always well matched - the team in the office take great care about that. To date, they have all been excellent. I am impressed by the determination to keep up to date with any changes in my mother’s health, wellbeing and requirements. There is easy 2-way contact between those in the office and ‘us’, with any enquiries or requests responded to and dealt with immediately. For the moment, companionship is what my mother values and needs. However, if more help and support is required in the future, we as her family feel confident Home Instead will be able to provide it. That gives us enormous 'peace of mind’ which is invaluable.

We have always had excellent service from Home Instead which is particularly noticeable at Christmas. Dad's carers go beyond duty to ensure he has a good time. The caregivers really care. Everyone on the office side is also impressive and well organised. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Home Instead and should the necessity arise would definitely use them again.

I cannot speak highly enough of the whole team at Home Instead, Epsom. They were caring for my 99-year-old mother who was blind, very deaf and increasingly less mobile. Mum had all her marbles but most of the rest had worn out. Over a six-week period, my mother had a total of six different carers. All were fantastic; compassionate and experienced, quickly putting me at my ease. They taught me a lot as I was mum's carer at other times. They really looked after my welfare too. It was not unusual for a carer to stay an extra 15 minutes if it helped. The manager and schedulers just about kept pace with my increasing demand for care. The carers fitted in bits of vacuuming, washing and ironing. They made my groundhog day bearable by talking to me about their experiences of bereavement. I cannot thank them enough for facilitating my mother to be able to die with dignity in her own home. One carer had the sense to phone me when mum's breathing became suddenly shallow. I saw her pass peacefully.

Home Instead have been providing care for my daughter for approximately seven years. The care and support we have received have been faultless throughout, so much so that carers have become friends while remaining professional at every level. Can't recommend Home Instead highly enough.

Very impressed with Home Instead care, my mother needed some support coming out of hospital and Home Instead was recommended by another resident in her flats. I was really surprised with the lengths that the firm went to to get to know my Mum, her history, likes and dislikes, and their wish to match her up with carers she would connect with. This all had to be done over the phone, in lockdown, where usually there are visits to get to know the clients. They could not have been more facilitating and patient, helping with the transfer from respite to care at home, then being available to amend the service as the situation changed. Accessing the family portal was easy and it gave me a chance to see how my mum really was every day. She has since said that the careers seemed more like friends, they did whatever she wanted and offered to do shopping, cooking, ironing etc. I could feel happy that she was in good hands. Unfortunately, I can’t name people here, but thank you all!

My mother was cared for by a team of excellent carers for three weeks.
All the carers were excellent, respectful, caring and kind. Unfortunately, Mum's care was deemed 'end of life' and she deteriorated rapidly. Despite this, the management team in the office were able to respond to ongoing challenges and communicate any changes to Mum's treatment to the team of carers.

All emails and telephone calls were responded to extremely promptly. On occasions, carers contacted me by phone to discuss Mum's continuing needs. All carers offered a level of dedication, care and compassion, which was truly wonderful to witness. Thank you all.

The care and support for my Grandmother has been excellent in all areas. The agency listened to our requirements and matched a lovely lady to my Nan. The same carer has been visiting my Nan for over a year now and they have built up a fabulous relationship.

My Nan has been given a new lease of life by the care she receives and very much looks forward to the visits.

Home Instead have been providing care for my mother for 5 years. We find it hard to fault the service they provide. They are always reliable and punctual. They go beyond her basic care needs and make every effort to improve her quality of life. When emergencies arise they are willing to help solve them. For example, this Christmas we cancelled some of mums care because family were around to provide it. A family emergency meant that mum would have been alone on Boxing Day, but a Home Instead carer stepped in with virtually no notice. Not a criticism, but it is worth noting that although Home Instead hourly rates are comparable to other agencies they insist on minimum time slots. This clearly improves the quality of care because they then have time for their clients but does add to the expense.

Home Instead has provided daily support and friendship for my 98 year old dad for a number of years, and it is thanks to them that he has been able to live independently in his own home for so long. Dad needed company and entertainment and the carers have more than fulfilled their remit. They take him shopping (for food, clothing and the occasional trip to the barbers). They also take him to appointments at the hospital, GP and dentist, even when these don’t fit in with their regular hours. They are very good at reporting back what has been said or done. They have played many games of Scrabble! They accompany him on walks and take him to a weekly singing group. Dad regards them as his friends and is sad that increasing frailty means that he is moving away for full-time care.
The team in the office respond quickly and cheerfully to requests and queries and are a pleasure to deal with.

I have no hesitation in recommending this company and wish all the staff well in the future.

Home Instead has enabled my 96 year old mother to stay in her own home for the last five years. Without these wonderful caregivers, this would not have been possible. My mother has vascular dementia and has needed assistance at meal times as well as general companionship. The caregivers have provided exceptional care and the office team have always been very approachable and quick to deal with any concerns I've had.

I cannot recommend the team more highly.

I am a light user of Home Instead Senior Care (Epsom & Mole Valley) - companionship every other week for two hours. Very pleasant people have visited me and this service suits me. The office team are very courteous and if I need to change the date or time of my visit, this is never a problem.

Excellent care provided daily to my father. The carers have established excellent relationships and rapport with my father. In addition to meeting his needs, they provide company and entertainment and access to facilities outside of his house.

The Head Office team maintain an excellent regular dialogue with myself and my sister. Frequent regular reviews completed.

I cannot fault the care provided for my father by Home Instead. Each and every member of the team has been amazing and I don't know how we could have done without their help. Totally trustworthy, efficient and kind. Very quick to alert me of any change in my father's condition, they have gone above and beyond the call of duty to care for him. Nothing has been too much trouble for any of them and it has been a huge comfort to our family to know that our father has been happy, cared for and in safe hands. The support and advice I have received from the office team when has been second to none. I wholeheartedly recommend these wonderful people. They are worth every penny.

The carers that I was assigned from Home Instead Epsom were second to none - so kind, caring, thoughtful, and the type of people that go the extra mile. In addition to fantastic care, all staff I had dealings with were professional, friendly and very thoughtful and sensitive to all situations - I couldn't recommend them highly enough. No doubt you may find cheaper care (I personally like the minimum 2-hour visit, it speaks volumes for the type of company they are in wanting to provide a quality service) but we felt we received outstanding care and service every step of the way. Thank you to all carers and staff at Home Instead, Epsom.

My husband is a vulnerable person with mental health/addiction issues. He has had support from Home Instead for 6 months now. I have been impressed with all aspects of the service. At the start, the care/respect to husband quickly led to trust and my husband accepting the help. I feel that I have got my life back and I now manage to go to work every day which I was not previously able to do. I like that I am able to be involved in my husband's care without actually having to do it. I like that it is always the same lovely person who comes and that there are proper review meetings so we can feedback if arrangements need adapting. Home Instead's involvement has just become a normal part of our lives. The whole team are professional and easy to deal with. I have only experienced very good service in terms of care-giving, the procedures in place and administration. I have no hesitation in recommending Home Instead to anyone who is a carer for their partner.

The care provided by Home Instead, Epsom, was perfect for my mother's requirements. The care company was able to provide carers on a long-term basis which allowed both the carer and my Mother time to develop a close relationship. Home Instead undertook regular appraisals of my mother's needs and monitored their own standards.
