Burley’s Home Care is a care provider you can trust. Their carers are skilled, professional, caring, and treat their clients as if they are family members themselves. Their clients include people who are simply getting older and need help at home, people with dementia, learning difficulties and mental health conditions. Their carers are highly trained and continue their development to ensure they can provide care in any situation. It may be that you need help getting up, washed and dressed, or simply a welfare check with a cup of tea and a chat. They can also carry out housekeeping or shopping, or take you to appointments and groups. From short visits a few times a week to live-in care, they can provide the right support to ensure your needs are met and you can live as independently as possible.

Living 300 miles away from my 93-year-old mother was not easy. For just over a year Burleys visited her once a day, and then twice, to make sure she was OK, do her shopping, give her her medication. They were constantly in contact with me and I knew that I would get an immediate response if I had any
queries. The carers were proactive in her care, calling paramedics, district nurse, doctor, etc. as and when necessary. My mum was very happy with all the carers who visited and became friends with them. Unfortunately, the time came when she was just too unsteady on her feet and was falling regularly, so we took the decision to move her to a care home near where we live. The care we received from Burleys was exemplary.

Recommended by the local GP surgery, Burleys Homecare allowed our 98-year-old Aunt to keep living independently and happily in her own home for as long as was possible.
From the outset, the managers maintained a very thorough professional approach, from the initial risk assessment and recommended changes
and improvements to the bungalow for our Aunts benefit.
We could not have asked for better carers who gave 3 one hour mealtime visits a day, preparing fresh vegetables and cooking real food, not instant meals. Their visits were not just functional. They formed friendships and gave companionship and conversation as well, taking her shopping and going the extra mile for Aunts benefit sometimes even using their personal time.
At the end Burleys made the decision to end the homecare arrangement and seek a residential place due to Aunts deteriorating health, a decision obviously motivated by care for Aunts well being and not profit.
Thanks to all the staff at Burleys.

Only in my sixth week of having a weekday call (8.00 - 9.00 am) but I am very pleased with the service provided. All the ladies are very kind and patient with my wife, who has mixed dementia. I would have no hesitation in a recommendation to a friend or relative.
