I have an hour’s personal care three times a week, and am very satisfied with the service. The staff are very friendly and helpful and arrive promptly. I would be happy to recommend Carefound to my friends.
Thank you for sharing your experience with us! We are thrilled to hear that you are very satisfied with the personal care service you receive from us. Being friendly, helpful, and prompt are qualities we prioritise in our staff, and we are glad to hear that they have made a positive impression on you. Your willingness to recommend Carefound to your friends means a lot to us.
Everything is working perfectly with the carer system. I would like to thank the carers and say that it's a pleasure to have them in the house. They do an excellent job and I look forward to their visits.
It's wonderful to hear that everything is running smoothly with the carer system and that you are pleased with the service provided by our carers! We greatly appreciate your kind words and are delighted to hear that you find it a pleasure to have them in your house.
We have been working with Carefound for a year now. It feels as though family and carers are one team supporting Dad to live in his own home and be independent for as long as possible, as this is what he wants. If it wasn't for Carefound and their caring, patient carers, Dad would not have been able to live on his own for this length of time. I can happily recommend Carefound to anyone who is trying to support and vulnerable person to live in their home. A big thank you to everyone at Carefound.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us! We are incredibly grateful for the trust you have placed in us to support your dad in living independently in his own home. It's heartening to hear that our team, along with your family, has formed a strong partnership in caring for your dad and enabling him to maintain his independence, which is so important to him.
The carers themselves, both Dad's regular faces and every single new face (always introduced), were brilliant. They treated Dad with kindness and respect and worked with him to achieve the things that were important to him as well as fulfilling everything we needed to be done to ensure Dad was comfortable.
The whole team are fabulous - highly recommended. Thank you Carefound Harrogate - keep up the high standards and wonderful people!
Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We are glad to hear that our team at Carefound Harrogate was able to provide compassionate and reliable support during a challenging time for your father and your family.Navigating changes in care needs can indeed be difficult, but we are pleased that...
Things that really stand out: the professionalism of the ladies, the genuine interest they take in their client, their health and well-being, the time they take to chat at the end of the hour, the personal introduction by the manager when a new carer starts, the rota being sent out for the following week.
My mother was adamant she did not want carers but she would be the first to say how wonderful they all are and what a huge difference it has made. Our whole family (all seven of us) are so relieved to have Carefound!
Having had no previous experience of care providers, my sister and I were extremely anxious when first considering a care package for our mother. Mum is extremely independent, there was no doubt that she wanted to remain in her own home but it was becoming increasingly difficult for her to cope alone given her dementia. We need not have been concerned as the Carefound Home Care team were sensitive and empathetic to our needs from the start. This made the whole process easy. They have provided a level of care that is perfect for Mum's current requirements. We are thankful that the carers that visit Mum on a daily basis are the same regular smiling faces. The care and companionship provided by her carers have been exemplary. As our mother's condition deteriorates, we are confident of Carefound's ability to provide additional support to her and to us. We couldn't recommend Carefound highly enough.
That said, I still found the prospect of inviting 'strangers' into the house to help my wife with a miscellany of personal services rather daunting.
Having sought advice from dementia support advisers and others in a similar position to ourselves, I then carefully considered which of the numerous local home care providers looked best placed to meet our needs. Research complete, Carefound Home Care topped the list and, from my first toe-in-water phone call, cake-munching meeting with the care manager and introductions to my wife's two carers, we knew we'd found a perfect fit.
The care plan works well, the service provided can't be faulted and, happily, my wife looks forward to regular visits from her two, new, very best friends.
I would not hesitate to recommend them, they have been a great addition to our lives and have certainly enriched my mother’s life with their visits.
We feel fortunate to have two excellent live-in carers for our dad. They are excellent and we feel he is in very safe hands. The care is very person-centred and they have a good understanding of his needs. Very happy with the service.
Mother has been using Carefound Home Care (Harrogate) for over five years. The care, service, management and administration are all first-class.
I find the carers to be punctual and very helpful. They also treat my wife with respect and compassion.
Very reliable, friendly and professional, but more importantly, they go the extra mile.
I have been delighted by the service offered by Carefound Harrogate, both by the carers in the home and by the management. Excellent communication and empathic, responsive and sensitive provision of care.
Outstanding service and people. The team are incredibly kind and professional in every way. We have received excellent support over the last few years and we are so grateful that my mum can continue to live in her own home with the support of Carefound Home Care.
Very good.
I approached Carefound Home Care in January to find out what services they could provide to my 93-year-old father who lives on his own and whose health has gradually deteriorated since Christmas. He does not currently need a lot of personal care but he does need some help with light domestic duties and has found the companionship from the carers invaluable. It has also given me peace of mind as I live some distance away from my dad. I have been very impressed by all of the contact that I have had with everyone at Carefound when making initial enquiries, arranging a meeting with my father and speaking to carers on the phone when they are visiting my dad. I have access to my dad's care records via an app on my phone so I can see what the carers are doing during each visit. I have found everyone to be very helpful, kind, caring and extremely competent.
Feel well cared for, safe and kept informed of any changes. Carers always happy to do anything I ask for help with. When I need to change time, the office always have done their best to accommodate my request.
We have had 24 hour, live in carers from Carefound since July 2019 for my parents, when my father was unable to continue caring for my mum who has dementia. Their abiding wish was to continue living at home until the end, my father died in September 2021. and it’s fair to say. that they were a challenging care package with physical/medical and dementia aspects to deal with, plus the end of life care. I did my research before engaging Carefound, I was concerned that no company would be willing to take on such a complex case, however Carefound rose to the challenge and we settled with two lovely carers doing a rota of 2 week live in shifts back to back. My parents were in a nursing home for a few months prior to getting Carefound involved, and mine and my parents experience of that convinced us that live in care at home would be the best option. Indeed they would never have had such attentive and one to one care as they experienced from Carefound. I can’t recommend them highly enough.
Carefound are predominantly employed to take my father out for his coffee/cake and some exercise to give Mum a chance to rest during her treatment. The girls that come are so kind and patient and are really helpful. They help Mum with some jobs she can’t manage and always find time to chat with her which she really appreciates as Dad is pretty non-verbal now.
When Mum was offered some palliative chemo at very short notice, the staff at Carefound managed to swap things around and supply a live-in carer for us which was a lifesaver.
Everyone we have met to date has been very warm and kind and I would highly recommend them to anyone who finds they need some help for a loved one.
Without exception, all staff who come to provide care are well trained, responsive and very efficient and professional. They not only give personal care for my husband but advise and support me as well. The administration of the scheme works very well for us. This means less stress for me which I really welcome in caring for my husband with advanced dementia. This is very stressful and the staff are a wonderful support to me enabling me to care for my husband for longer at home.

I joined Carefound in 2012 as a Home Carer with no prior professional care experience, although I had supported elderly family members. In 2013, I won the Great British Care Awards for Yorkshire and Humberside in the Newcomer to Care category and went on to win the National Newcomer to Care award in 2014.
Following this, I progressed to a Senior Carer role after completing my Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care and began working towards my Level 3 qualification. In 2017, I advanced to the role of Care Coordinator and subsequently became a Care Manager. I later undertook my Level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care, which I completed in 2021. That same year, I was highly commended at the Yorkshire and Humberside Great British Care Awards for Care Assessor of the Year.
I progressed to Deputy Branch Manager at the end of 2021 and was appointed as Registered Branch Manager in 2023, overseeing the Harrogate Branch.
Outside of work, I enjoy walking and competing with my horse. Recently, I won the Show Cob of the Year 2024 at the Horse of the Year Show.
I joined Carefound in 2021 after working as a Dental Nurse at an NHS practice for 11 years. I began my journey with Carefound as an hourly Carer, progressed to a Senior Carer a year later, and became a Care Manager in January 2023. I am currently working towards completing my Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management.
I thoroughly enjoy my role as a Care Manager, as no two days are ever the same. I value building relationships with clients, their loved ones, and other healthcare professionals, as I believe we can learn so much from one another.
When I am not at work, you'll likely find me outdoors with my children and two rescue dogs, exploring the local area
I have been with Carefound for just over two years, initially starting as an hourly carer before progressing to my current role as Recruitment & Community Manager. I work with a fantastic team, and I thoroughly enjoy my job. It offers a lot of variety, with many different aspects to the role—from meeting new people during the recruitment process to organising coffee mornings and events.
I am very family-oriented and come from a large family, so when I'm not working, I spend my time with them, catching up with friends, and taking my 18-month-old Labrador, Charlie, out and about. I also support my partner in his various hobbies, with rallying being the biggest one.
