In Home Care Ltd: Finding the right type of care either for you, a friend or an elderly relative is something that many of us, at some point, may have to undertake. Researching the various care options available will enable you to make the correct choice. Of course there are other issues and challenges to consider, such as having the initial conversation with your loved one regarding their care needs. Understandably, they want to keep their pride and most importantly their independence and at the outset they may refuse to accept they even need care. Then there are the conversations relating to how the care can be funded, discussions relating to wills, power of attorney and so on. Challenging times in deed for all concerned, In Home Care's aim is to help you achieve the right result for you and your loved ones. This will be achieved on an individual basis and to best suit your personal circumstances. Carers will guide and support you every step of the way; from initial consultation to guidance on financing care, through to developing a personalised care plan, experts are there to provide you with the support, guidance and advice you or your family require anytime. Can help with all types of care for adults 18 and over.

Excellent company. The staff are always well presented, polite and friendly.
Only one suggestion would be please contact the service user when you change times, as we have arrangements in place for the time advised, eg golf Tee off times verses vanishing times to be back for staff leaving.

We cannot recommend In Home Care highly enough. Apart from being efficient, listening to the client’s needs and adjusting to changes in those needs, the carers who come into our home were a pleasure to have around. There was always a phone call to tell us if a carer was going to be later than the
appointed time. Those who came in became friends that we looked forward to seeing twice a day. After an extended period in hospital, In Home Care was unable to fit us back into their schedule, but while in hospital they called not only to check on their client’s health but also on my well-being. A huge thank you to everyone at In Home Care.

My father has advanced Alzhimer's/Dementia with poor hearing, occasionally displaying challenging behaviours and requires prompting, guidance and reassurance as he goes about his daily routine. In Home Care has been instrumental in providing a care package that meets these needs, offering continuity
of care personnel experienced in the area of health conditions. The supplied professional quickly established a relationship with my dad, achieving optimal compliance with his morning routine. As his condition has progressed over the past four months, the care professional has displayed versatility and compassion in interacting with my dad in order to facilitate the maintenance of his toiletry and hygiene regimes.

My 91-year-old father was very reluctant to have carers after falling and breaking his hip. However, he realised he needed help to stay in his home and remain semi-independent. His carers understood his situation and gave him time to adjust and get to know them. They were reliable and kind, and wherever
possible, were consistently the same members of staff. The office always kept me informed of any changes and always answered the phone!
I will always be grateful to those who looked after him as he clearly was very happy with them, which in turn, stopped me from worrying about him.

My mother is very happy with the support she receives, she always knows who will be coming with an approximate time, and the carers understand her needs.
She is always treated with kindness and respect and has built trusting professional relationships with all of the support team.

I always look forward to seeing my carer on a Friday who helps me with my shopping. Always cheerful and we have a great laugh. I have had the same carers for many years and she knows the procedures never missing the sweet aisle! she pushes the trolley for me and reaches the high shelves. I cannot manage
without her help, great support and a special carer.

Mum was happy with the care she’d received for her once a week visit. As of today, she has had two visits as the home care has just started. She has requested another visit on a Thursday or Friday and this is in hand so hopefully will start soon

In Home Care have helped to look after my mother for the past couple of years. I found all the carers to be very professional but also very friendly, kind, helpful and very caring towards mum. They always treated mum with great respect and dignity. I cannot fault the care they provided and in my opinion,
they always went the extra mile. They helped me through a very demanding time which was made even more difficult due to Covid. I would highly recommend In Home Care to anyone who wants to keep their parent/relative in their own home for as long as possible and assure them that they will receive the very best of care.

My dad has needed help to shower and get dressed each morning since a stroke earlier this year, and we (my dad, mum and I) are very happy with the excellent level of care we are getting from In Home Care. The carers and the office staff are always courteous, friendly and cheerful, but most importantly,
professional and diligent. The carers have helped my dad to keep his dignity, and he considers the level of care he is getting to be equal to the assistance he received from the nurses in hospital. He can’t praise them enough. Dad finds the mornings difficult until he gets moving, but once he is in the bathroom it is great to hear him laughing and chatting with the carers - we say he ‘goes upstairs feeling like Eeyore, and comes back down acting like Tigger!’
We would have no hesitation in recommending In Home Care to family and friends.

My mum has been supported by In Home Care for a period of 4 months requiring live-in, domiciliary and waking night care involving 10 different carers. All of the carers have been lovely, cheerful, respectful and professional, sometimes under difficult circumstances. I would have no hesitation in recommending
In Home Care and would like to thank them for the support that has been provided to my mum.

Surprised me by doing more than I thought they would. e.g. called doctors about mum not eating properly and got some high calorie/ vitamins milkshake.
Mum has got used to her ladies coming round and likes a chat with them which is a relief for me.

The carers and admin staff based at In-Home Care Ltd at Horndean have cared firstly for Mum and lately Dad for over a year. In that time I have seen how professional and experienced all the carers and office staff have been and continue to be. Recently, the company advised me (as the second carer) on
methods and practices of moving my recently bedbound father without causing him distress and followed up with progress visits and calls. The methods shown to me have proved invaluable to keeping Dad relaxed and more accepting of being moved and washed in bed.
In addition, the carers provide a window to what is happening in the local area as well as the world which keeps their minds active - there is also a lot of laughter!
In the current pandemic, the company has continued to keep me up to date with the changing Government Covid-19 protocols for both carers and clients in order to keep everyone safe. I have no hesitation in recommending In-Home Care Ltd.

In Home Care provides carers for my Mum twice a day. They are always kind, helpful and chatty with Mum which has enabled her to stay in her own home for the last 2 years. When Mum had a leak in her bathroom in December, the carer stayed to help out and rang me so I could get it fixed.
