In Home Care Ltd: Finding the right type of care either for you, a friend or an elderly relative is something that many of us, at some point, may have to undertake. Researching the various care options available will enable you to make the correct choice. Of course there are other issues and challenges to consider, such as having the initial conversation with your loved one regarding their care needs. Understandably, they want to keep their pride and most importantly their independence and at the outset they may refuse to accept they even need care. Then there are the conversations relating to how the care can be funded, discussions relating to wills, power of attorney and so on. Challenging times in deed for all concerned, In Home Care's aim is to help you achieve the right result for you and your loved ones. This will be achieved on an individual basis and to best suit your personal circumstances. Carers will guide and support you every step of the way; from initial consultation to guidance on financing care, through to developing a personalised care plan, experts are there to provide you with the support, guidance and advice you or your family require anytime. Can help with all types of care for adults 18 and over.

I wish the two carers who come in the morning would arrive at the same time. One comes at the correct time, the other anything up to 10 to 15 minutes later. Maybe not her fault as with other clients, but this should be sorted. A lot of the carers I would tick excellent but not all. The double ups at
lunch time and evening are fine.

Having been with In Home Care Ltd - Waterlooville for over a year, I have got used to them looking after me which they do very well. I have a breathing problem which requires me to be connected to an oxygen supply all the time but they cope very well and I am more than pleased with the way they look
after me.

Carers always arrive and usually on time. The carers are friendly and provide a good and caring service. There have been a few issues with the office regarding preferred call times and this has been resolved to my satisfaction.

In Home Care Ltd - Waterlooville provides me with outstanding care. I am treated with dignity and the great kindness my carers show me is much appreciated. Nothing is too much trouble and they are so helpful. My carers extend their care and kindness to my partner and full-time carer. Again, nothing
is too much trouble. Both management and care staff carry out their work in a truly professional way and their support is invaluable. Thank you.

In Home Care Ltd - Waterlooville assisted me in caring for me late husband during the last year of his life enabling him to die - as we both wished - in our own home. I have only praise for the young women on the team. Almost unfailingly, they were prompt, competent and generous in their care of my
husband and the concern for me. On one or two occasions that help went well beyond the call of duty.

In September 2015, my wife who had Alzheimer's was suddenly unable to walk anymore and needed outside help. When I found In Home Care Ltd - Waterlooville I was impressed from the start when their manager came to see us on a Sunday morning. For nine months, In Home Care Ltd - Waterlooville provided 2
carers, three times per day to look after my wife. They were always very kind and cheerful and were happy to help with anything. Only very rarely were they late and if so for a very good reason. I would have no hesitation in recommending In Home Care Ltd - Waterlooville to anyone needing care at home.

In Home Care looked after my mother when she was no longer able to live at home on her own. I needed to provide Mum with live-in care at very short notice, and In Home Care went out of their way to find the type of care, and personality of carers, I was looking for.

Every day presented different

challenges as my mother's needs changed. I couldn't be more grateful to the carers and the managers at In Home Care who went out of their way to make sure Mum was happy, and that I was kept well informed. I felt very comfortable giving them feedback if something needed to change and they always did their very best to accomodate my wishes, even at short notice.

They have an excellent balance of caring vs professional behaviour which is very hard to find these days. They cared for Mum until she passed away and treated her with respect and dignity until the very end.

The carers are always courteous, caring and kind; they are clearly interested in and understand my needs. On the very rare occasion that I have found a carer unsuitable for my requirements (I have MND), the extremely efficient and helpful office staff and management have dealt speedily and sensitively
with the situation.

I would unhesitatingly recommend this company to other people.

Our relative has been using In Home Care Ltd since June 2016, following a selection process. They are based locally, which is helpful. Our relative is happy with the service he receives and the general continuity of the carer has allowed the building of rapport which is important for a client living
alone with few visitors. Any issues have been resolved quickly. We were also able to arrange temporary additional care during absence which was very helpful and it is encouraging to have a degree of flexibility and understanding.

We were happy to recommend In Home Care Ltd to a friend in similar need.

My 94-year-old independently living Mum has been receiving assistance from IHC (In Home Care) for almost 2 years following a serious hospitalisation. The help has been cooking a fresh meal every day, cleaning and shopping. The ladies who visit are prompt, cheerful, helpful and very caring. Neither Mum
or I can fault them and they have become her valued friends.

The management of IHC has also been responsive, friendly and helpful at every level.

In mid-January Mum suffered a serious fall requiring immediate 24hr care in the home. In Home Care as a total entity instantly responded to our very urgent request for help (over the best part of a month) by "mobilising" the ladies Mum already knew. The total package was in place instantly and continued as long as we needed it. It was a great comfort to Mum and the family that intensive personal care was provided by ladies that we knew to be trusted caring friends. They have played a great part in her fantastic recovery.

What more could you ask for?

My grandparents receive 3 hours care a week. This has been extremely useful and also gives my grandad respite weekly from my Nan who has dementia. Sometimes she is taken out, and she really loves this, despite not remembering afterwards. But it's good for well being. They have also been adaptable for
the odd occasion where we've had to change care times to cover when I am not around to help. This is a lifesaver!

We had a meeting with a Senior of In Home Care, they outlined the services they offered, after a general discussion in which we outlined my situations and what help I required. We had decided that my wife and I could no longer manage and needed help.
It was agreed to have a trial period of one month,
at first we had quite a few different carers both male and female. I wanted to have a regular carer so that person would get to know my needs and I wouldn't have to keep explaining to different carers each time. After a period of a month or so, it was agreed to send me a regular carer, obviously on her days off, sickness, holidays etc we would have different carers to cover, but that is not a problem.

I'm very satisfied with my current carer, she is very dedicated, professional, a caring person and always has a smile. She understands my disability, allows me to do what I can do myself and she respects my dignity. She also helps my wife with making beds each morning and other small jobs.

In Home Care has been attending to my mother every morning for nearly a year. They help her wash and dress and make me aware of any problems. My mother receives a notice every week of the time and name of the carer due to visit. The carers are kind and reliable and help with whatever are my mother's
needs.

We have been using In Home Care for 5 years since my husband had a severe stroke. More recently he had cancer of the base of his tongue and after radiotherapy had swallowing issues. In Home Care came frequently when I had to go out to oversee meals to ensure he didn't choke etc. Sadly his cancer has
returned to bones, liver, pelvis etc so we now have superb male carers (2 who work the week and my husband really likes) who get him up, shower, cream him and oversee his dressing and getting him downstairs on the lift.
