Overall the care provided to my wife is good and her main carer during the week provides not only excellent care but has established a good relationship with my wife which she greatly values. There has been the odd hickup such as a carer not turning up but this has only happened once over the year we have been with In Home Care. Currently I am the second carer for my wife and there has been the odd occasion where the carer rota times have been changed significantly but these have not been passed on to me, and I have not been present at the house when they arrive, so they have not been able to start the care until I return. I know it is challenging but more consistency with regard to carers and their rota times during the weekend would be appreciated as my wife struggles to cope with change. Senior staff have been responsive to our requests to adjust the level of care that my wife required over the last year (care plan is currently being updated to reduce the number of carers to one).
Thank you very much for taking the time to feed back regarding our services. It is lovely to hear you are very happy with the care provided and your wife is settled with her main carer. I am well aware of the couple of concerns with your rota which have been addressed and you should see an immediate improvement.
I only have ad hoc care and the agency are very accommodating. This does mean I don’t often get continuity of care but I have to accept that. Generally the carers are very good.
Thank you so much for taking the time to review our services, it is very much appreciated. Apologies if you feel you do not always get continuity for mum, but like you say where your visits are adhoc we can't always guarantee the same carer will be available. I will endeavour to look at this and hopefully moving forward you will see an improvement.
I have found In Home Care to be a very friendly and helpful company. The initial set up of the arrangement was efficient and the information that the assessor gave was very helpful in ensuring that we organised the right kind of care. The carers are very considerate and thoughtful and always go the extra mile to help.
I would have no problem in recommending this company.
Thank you so much for taking the time to review our services, really lovely to hear from initial contact that we were able to provide a high standard of service.
In Home Care have provided a very good service three times a day, with only a few very minor problems, for my mother who is suffering from moderate Alzheimer's. The carers have been very pleasant and have cared for my mother very well.
Good morning, thank you very much for taking the time to give us such a lovely review. I will share this with the team.
I cannot fault the service that has been provided by In Home Care. Every carer that has come into contact with my mother has been very caring. My mother had absolutely adjusted to her care program and is very happy. Her main carer is a treasure. I am so grateful to In Home Care that has given me peace of mind.
Thank you for your kind words and taking the time to review In Home Care it really is nice to know how positively we can affect people and to support Mum to remain at home.
In Home Care have provided my care workers for about 5 years. They are very diligent with keeping their staff well trained and up to date with current standards. My care workers are super friendly and support me to live my life my way.
Thank you so much for taking the time to review In-Home Care, it is much appreciated and lovely to hear what you think of our services.
Carer was especially attentive and very kind to my Mum as well.
Office staff were very quick to deal with any queries that we had and for that, we were very grateful.
Thank you so much for your kind words and lovely feedback, I will ensure this is passed onto the team.
My Uncle was admitted to hospital after a fall and his health had deteriorated and as a prerequisite of release additional care was required. In Home Care went above and beyond to set up a revised care plan and supported the patient with his every need whilst he recuperated in his own home.
Thank you for taking the time to review our services, it is much appreciated. Such kind words. It is lovely to hear we are making a difference.
My gran is 85 and has lost a lot of mobility, is living independently but at times when we are all working, we need carers that can be called last minute and attend to Grandma’s needs. This company spent time learning my Grandma’s needs, assessed her very well and is now like family to us. Not sure we could all continue at being reliable in our own jobs/life without In Home Care.
Thank you so much for taking the time to review us. So lovely to hear what a difference we make to not only our clients but also their families.
In general, we have been very pleased with the service. The carers are very good and caring. The disappointment is with the rota team, who on a number of occasions, have changed our rota at short notice, but have not notified us. We were notified once. They also do not give the carers time between appointments, taking into consideration travel time and traffic issues here and therefore can be late. Also an issue with finance.
Good afternoon, thank you so much for your kind review lovely to hear how pleased you are with our service. I am sorry to hear you have not had the same experience at times with our rota team. We have identified there has been an occasional breakdown in communication when changes are made, we have...
In May 2016, we decided on In Home Care as the provider of my wife's care because it had experience of working with people with Motor Neuron Disease. It proved an excellent choice. Over the next three years, a cadre of some 6-7 carers came regularly to look after my wife as her condition worsened. Having at least one of this group at every care visit was deeply appreciated because it gave both my wife and me confidence that she was being extremely well looked after by people who knew her needs intimately. As my wife became progressively more and more disabled, the number of daily care visits increased but In Home's excellent rota team ensured that there was always someone who knew my wife at each visit. Almost without exception, the carers who came were friendly, professionally competent and committed to their work. They soon became friends of the family and we felt relaxed in their company. The same can be said of the management team who met my every request with great professionalism.
Thank you so much for your lovely feedback. It is very much appreciated and I will pass on your kind words to everyone involved in your wife's care. It has been a pleasure to support you both for the time we did.
All the carers are lovely and treat my mum with respect and kindness. We often get the same carers which is good for continuity as mum has quite a complex care package and it takes a while to get to know her routine.
The management are fantastic and have taken over a lot of things I used to have to do.. eg ordering medication etc. It means I have more time to spend with mum as a daughter and not a carer. I can also go away on holiday now knowing mum is in good hands.
I would highly recommend in-home care to anyone needing care services.
Thank you so much for your feed back it is much appreciated. What a lovely review it is so nice to hear what we do makes such a difference. I will ensure to share your kind words with the whole team.
I am so delighted by the care my mum is receiving from the team at In Home Care. Everyone is so kind and considerate and work together with the family to find the best way to support my mum.
Everyone works hard to make sure mum is cared for and that she feels safe whilst ensuring dignity at all times, and should I need any further support, they are there at the end of the phone or in person to help me as well. I could not recommend them enough.
Hello Amanda, Thank you so much for your lovely review. We will always strive to give the best care we can to all of our clients and it is a delight caring for your Mum.
As a partner of the client, I am extremely impressed by the level of care provided to my partner. All carers (four double up visits per day) are professional, kind and supportive not only to my partner but to me as well. Cannot thank them enough.
Thank you very much for taking the time out to review us, we really appreciate this. Delighted to hear you're so happy with our services. Many thanks.
1) Would like to see the same carer more regularly.
2) Wet shave more often
3) Spectacles cleaned because very dirty sometimes
4) Would like to know who is coming on a Friday before we get the list through on a Saturday and also what time.
Thank you for taking the time to send in your feedback, on reading that we had not completed all care to your complete satisfaction we immediately called you, update your care plan, to include all these points and we are now hopeful that we have rectified all these areas.
Going forward, please...
Your In Home Care service was needed for a week recently for my 93 years old Father. The carer moved into his home and was there, caring, cooking, cleaning, doing his laundry and providing company.
As I live 2 hours away, I was very worried when after a fall, he had to spend the night in A & E, after having to wait 3 hours for an ambulance. The carer was with him all the time, providing reassurance and making sure he was as comfortable as possible, under the circumstances. She accompanied him in the ambulance, providing continued reassurance as he was passed over to the hospital team and was there to greet him later when he was discharged and ferried home. Thankfully he was ok, but the whole experience was very upsetting for my Father and I am so grateful that she was there for him. She was brilliant in sending regular updates about his health and well being to me and I am very happy to give her 5 stars for everything she did!
Thank you.
I have been happy with the care I have received from In Home Care Ltd - Waterlooville and the attitude of the staff and the carers.
The care I receive is very good. The carer I have to bathe me is a great help to me, she gives me reassurance. She makes me feel as if I am not a 'has-been'.
Reliable, punctual and friendly service.
In Home Care are local to mum and we have found their care and support to be very good. The girls are attentive to mums needs and will pass on any concerns to the office/myself as they arise. We are very happy to have them as mums carers.
